Thomas asked the guard, "What's taking so long?" As he said this, a swarm of Federal Police flooded into the building. Thomas rested his hand on his pistol holster and took a few steps back, unsure of what was happening. This Saracene cesspool got worse by the moment, and he hadn't even been let in yet. He now demanded to know, "What's going on!? First you hold me at the gate for over an hour, and now the building is being swarmed with feds! My government and I were assured Saranidia would treat us fairly, but I've seen multiple people stride right past, one of whom might be a security risk!" He continued on like this for a while, having a mission to accomplish while these barbarians wasted his time. By the time he finished, he saw the cops leave, and stopped talking, fuming. All he could think is that Regensburg should have joined the crusade.

She'd heard a considerable amount about Saranidia's warmongering nature and the seemingly-spontaneous conflicts it and Azadistan had sparked and fueled both in news broadcasts in Pakistan and India, as well as in her secret intelligence briefings, but she'd always regarded it with some doubts or dark humor- maybe it was just a racist stereotype.

However, this was real- all too real- and the truth, blared live over intercom, frightened her more than anything.
