The Cromwell Island Rebellion

Here in New Narsia we are having some problems. We own an Island called Cromwell Island which is just off the coast of the mainland. It is fascist and has been very annoyed that a capitalist democracy owns it ever since we got it in 1849. There have been a few small rebellions over the years but they have been crushed by us. But now they have hit harder than ever before. They have been bombing the capital and also other major cities. From all of this a lot of our people have died and an even bigger amount have been injured. There has been about 25,000 casualties in total. We need help to destroy the rebellion in the name of democracy. Help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I'm suprised how many people participated in this, but, as the post describes, it wasn't very fun after hours of it being released. I hope you all have a good day!

Regarding the Cromwell Island Insurgency in New Narsia, we at The State Security Office are nothing short of appalled by the indifference shown by the governing administration of New Narsia in providing for the citizens of Cromwell Island. The very history of New Narsia is nothing more then an Imperialist-Capitalist nation-state excreting it's authority over the free folk of another sovereignty. Since 1849 the Cromwell Island has been fighting numerous battles for independence, but each and every time their bodies and spirits were crushed with Narsian Tanks.

For no longer their regime of Imperialism will reign.

We backed the IRA, and we'll back the Cromwell Island. New Narsia claims to fight for freedom and democracy, but that is just it. Claims. The fact of the matter is that Cromwell Island is an Island of it's own, and the Narsians are the invaders.

As I speak, special units of the National Security Police are gearing up for foreign intervention. We will win the fight for liberty, peace, and fraternity for the people of Cromwell, lest we return home.

Are you guys drunk or something? Newark Aristocracy, you swore twice in your unreasonable plan to blow the s*** out of us and you're going to use your entire army to do it? And German-Soviet Reich you should know that having 40 million troops and bombers bombard "New Marcia", a country that doesn't even have 1 Billion people is also a completely unreasonable plan. And you can't use the excuse that I want my side of the war to win because I'm fine with The Black Party's plan because it's actually reasonable. They are just sending the National Security Police to fight on the Cromwellese side. I wanted to make a good rp but you guys have ruined it. Thanks a lot.

It's something you can get banned for (although it isn't the most clear connnection):

Cromwellese sailors awaken at the sound of whirring artillery shells originating from the assembled fraction of the Pan-Asiatic 3rd Fleet off the coast of the city of Andrews. The P.A.S Type BBGK-099E Han-Class Battleship Benigno Aquino Jr., accompanied by several corvettes and submerged submarines, have conducted a barrage to soften-up island defenses.

On the P.A.S Type V-322A Jurōjin-Class Aircraft Carrier Hanoi, transferred from the 2nd Fleet to the 3rd for the operation, Paratroopers have already begun planning a clandestine aerial assault. Above them, the 4th Fighter Wing has already begun strafing and carpet-bombing in coordination with main Naval elements, attempting to secure Air Superiority.

On the bridge of the Hanoi, Daimyō-Heneral Felipe Arcilla III takes a premium Cuban cigar smoke to celebrate the surprise-attack. The Pan-Asiatic States Armed Forces had taken a leap into the abyss, and they knew it.

A white sun was dawning upon Cromwell Island.

The sun shone bright on the lagoon south of Cromwell Island. The hydrofoil Yellowjacket made headway, her hull gliding above the choppy waters. The ship’s commanding officer, Commander Cyrus Barnwell, ordered a slight turn to starboard. But before that could happen, an explosion shook the water. Commander Barnwell looked to his left. Less than 3 feet from Yellowjacket’s hull stood a tall geyser of water.

A few minutes later, a tree on the coast burst into flames. Only then did Barnwell realize what had happened: he had sailed right into a Cromwellian ambush. Thankfully, the rebels had little to no experience operating artillery, and as such missed the small, sleek ship. But the attack would not go unpunished.

“Open fire!”, ordered Barnwell. Upon receiving the order, the gunner aimed one of the ship’s .50 caliber machine-guns and opened fire at the source of the ambush.

It was impossible to discern the number of enemy casualties, but Barnwell smiled as he saw the sand turn red.

The situation on Cromwell Island was not unnoticed by the People's Republic. However due to the long distant between its own sphere of influence along with the fact that many nations had already taken it upon themselves and sent substantial forces to the island thus the People's Republic had decided to not take much action at least for the times being. Yet Great Viet would still send out a task force into the area in order to assist the multi-national effort to stop the spread of fascism. The task force would quickly arrive at the international water near Cromwell Island soon.

Great Viet's Cromwell Island Task Force was established from detached units from various forces nearest to the area. Units of the Task Force included:

- 1x Kuznetsov class aircraft carrier (air wing of 50 planes)
- 1x Kiev class aircraft carrier (air wing of 30 planes)
- 1x amphibious assault ship (air wing of 6 helicopters)

During a nigh time operation, 80 troops Halo jump into the mountains of cromwell islands. Their mission is to embed and hide in the highlands, and provide reconnaissance and support to the Fascist revolution. The troops are mainly light infantry, with 2 snipers and 5 support men. the rest being forms of lighter infantry.
OOC:(i can't see the map so i don't know if the island has islands, but i assume it has some highlands, whether they be mountains or not. Also if i am not allowed to halo jump sorry,tell me and i will delete the post )

While this is happening Osarkian troops slowly mobilize into a strike fleet, slowly getting ready to provide more support once the airborne troops complete their main objective of providing reconnaissance.
