Imminent Thai Invasion of Singapore

Singapore, a small and the last city-state state in the world, has been a target for the kingdom for years. There has been attempt to seize Singapore in the past, the famous one was in 1894. But that attempt was failed. Currently, the city-state has been a major industrial power in the region and got most of it's riches from trade. Their strategic location near the Strait of Malacca has been an advantage for their economy and industry for decades. The Thai has seen Singapore as one of their province but posses zero or military control there. Thai Royal Intelligence Agency has tried to staged a coup back in 70s, but failed due to British intervention. The king, now seen the current era might be advantageous to the invasion. HTMS Chakri Naruebet, flagship of the Royal Thai Navy, was put on action for the planned invasion. The carrier along with it's strike group, block Singaporean waters, hoping they'll surrender to the blockade. But they dont. Instead, one of the Singaporean naval corvette opens fire on the strike group damaging one ship. The corvette was eventually defeated and the surviving crews was held as prisoners. The day after the incident, the king was immediately put to notice, he then send an ultimatum to the Singaporean government. No declaration of war was send, but the king was ready for war with it's southern neighbor.

Today morning at dawn Joshenian B-53 bombers begun their airstrikes on Ottoman Sultanate military targets. Cruise missiles from Joshenian-Franco Real battleships of the cost of the Ottoman Sultanate were also used to hit Ottoman visual observation posts. The bombing of major military and other strategic areas in the Ottoman Sultanate lead to chaos all over the Ottoman Sultanate. Looting and demonstrations sprung all over the Ottoman Sultanate, in Istanbul the capital about 150 people were killed after the Ottoman army open fire on the demonstrators. In the middle of the chaos the Joshenianische Spezialeinheiten (Joshenian Special Forces) have moved into Eastern Ottoman Sultanate and have begun evacuating Ottoman christians.
Joshenia has not been alone in the assaults, Kurdish Militants and Ottoman Revolutionary rebels have carried out bombings of government buildings and government owned buildings.
The bombings come just hours after the Imperial government of Joshenia released a document containing the human rights violations of the Ottoman Sultanate on its people. Later today the Kaiserin of Joshenia is to address her people and the international community on the bombings in the Ottoman Sultanate.

Around noon today, expectant Ottoman troops looked to the skies with dismay as 800 strategic bombers escorted by 1,000 fighters darkened the skies over 4 major military factories in the southeast of the 2nd Ottoman Sultanate. All 4 attacks were successful, with all missions being accomplished and only 102 total plane losses. This comes just as the Liberation Army arrives at its positions and begins to prepare for the first real assault.

The seaborn Liberation Army divisions will land at 3 beaches in the south of the Sultanate and attempt to quickly secure 3 20-mile areas to prepare briefly for the next stage of the attack. The Liberation Army divisions currently in Idiocarasia will attempt to push and hold an offensive line 50 miles into Ottoman territory before linking up with their amphibious counterparts.

The Liberation Army has begun its assault detailed in the above post, reports are coming in that all 3 targeted beaches were successfully taken with difficulty; and the Southern Liberation Army (SLA) is moving to secure the 20-mile zones. The Eastern Liberation Army (ELA) has begun to form its western offensive line and has thus far captured 15 of the 50 miles inland target of Ottoman territory. While resistance on this front has been light thanks in no small part to the operations of Joshenia; it is expected to strengthen as the Ottoman reserves slowly mobilize over the coming days.
The total casualty numbers for these operations has been 1,014 killed, 2,130 injured.

As the Cymiopolitan Caribbean Fleet approached the natural harbor of Enez , Admiral Konstantinos Kanaris had a smile on his face. Just as he had predicted, the Ottomans had left the area undefended, having surely sent most of their ressources to the southerly coastal invasions of our ally Libertana. At the sight of the mighty fleet, the town's meager defenses quickly waved the white flag of surrender on the docks.

Following the transport of all troops and land equipment to shore via landing craft and small transport vessels, the CAF had finally secured a foothold in Western Thrace. Following a good night's rest, the land forces split in 3. Army Corp Zakynthos will head north towards Edirne, where they will meet up with the army of Korochunov and beseige the city. The other corps will both be heading to Tekirdag. Corfu will go via the E84 to eventually besiege the important port city. Ithaca, being supported by the fleet, will take coastal root to secure the Gallipoli peninsula before meeting with Corfu in Tekirdag. If all goes well, the 3 Cymiopolitan Corps and the Korochunovan forces will all meet in Silivri before finally besieging Ottoman capital of Istanbul.

In the Black Sea, about 15-20 miles out off the Ottoman city of Istanbul, the Revolutionary Navy moves into blockade formation. No declaration of war has been announced as of yet, but this force is infringing on Turkish waters. Perhaps this is a sign of aggression to come...?

The four active Sublime-class stealth submarines are in position, lurking in the waters under Istanbul and the surrounding straits. The LA is preparing to make its Phase 3 offensive, which aims to push a further 50-miles inland and hold an offensive line stretching from the Black Sea in the north to the Mediterranean in the south. The Liberation Army was once again successful in their latest 50-mile push, taking all targets with only 476 casualties.
Reports are coming in that the LA will now make its biggest push yet, using mobile infantry units and motorized cavalry to make a 150-mile rush towards the center of the Sultanate, while slower troops keep the existing offensive line and advancing at a slower pace to back up the advance units.

The future of the tyrannical 2nd Ottoman Sultanate looks bleak, to say the least.
Liberation Army troops have officially occupied more than one-third of Ottoman territory, and a massive bombing campaign has devastated Ottoman government buildings and military installations over the past week. As LA troops prepare for what is expected to be the final territory rush of 50 miles, morale is high. Many citizens view Libertana as a liberating force, and what little resistance there is has been dealt with gently but strictly.
The Libertanan government has stated that it is preparing a strategy for transitioning occupied territory to a new, free state as Head of State Samuel Derrick prepares to attend the peace summit hosted by Joshenia.
Derrick has also thanked the coalition nations for assisting in the overthrow of the Sultanate.

As of today, the Proletarian Senate has announced an official declaration of war against the 2nd Ottoman Sultanate. This comes after allegations that the Sultan was committing crimes against humanity within his borders, which Korochunovite leaders could not stand for. The Revolutionary Navy's task force, as well as 15,000 marines, are already in position to strike the city of Istanbul. As we speak, 5,000 of those brave men have already landed at the small coastal town of Karaburun, with another 5,000 initiating a similar landing at Şile. Minor air support has been enlisted from other coalition member states, as the Korochunovite airforce has no way of getting to Anatolia.

The beachheads at Karaburun and Şile have provided the Navy Marines with a base to pincer the Ottoman city of Istanbul, which would provide immense strategic benefits to the Coalition if captured. Only 10,000 men were deployed to the fronts, and they are making good gains with minimal resistance as of current. However, resistance is expected to increase dramatically over the next few days, which is why an extra 5,000 marines are on standby to reinforce either of the pincer prongs on their route to connect at and besiege Istanbul. Armor and artillery support is to be ferried to the beachheads by the end of the week, with further reinforcements (approx. 15,000-30,000 soldiers, as the exact number of reinforcements required is not yet known) slated to arrive once the prongs begin to stagnate.

Army Corps Zakynthos
Zakynthos split of from Corfu at Kesan to head to north to besiege Edirne. The journey up the E87 was an arduous one with stiff resistance near Uzunkopru. Many Cymiopolitan lives were lost in the door-to-door combat, but the town was cleared of its Ottoman garrison by sundown. The march to Edirne came to a halt near the junction at Havsa. Reports had come in that Korochunov has opted to conduct naval landings in Karaburun and Sile. Without their help, a siege on Edirne seems to have increased in difficulty. Back home in Cymiopolis, the War Ministry is debating whether the scrap the siege altogether in order to help out in Karaburn or to conduct an aerial bombardment of Edirne

Army Corps Ithaca
Having followed the coast and accompanied by the Caribbean Fleet, the Ithaca Corps had a relatively easy time pacifying the Gallipoli peninsula. At the site of 60 000 troops and 57 ships, village after village and town after town surrendered without bloodshed. Small skirmishes took place when approaching both the cities of Gallipoli and Sarkoy, but the white flag of surrender quickly came up when the fleet conducted naval bombardments. It seems that unlike the Sultan, the Ottoman soldiers seem to care about their civilians. Eventually, the port of Tekirdag was on the horizon.

Army Corps Corfu
Unlike Zakynthos, the Corfu Corps continued on the E84 to eventually meet with the Ithaca Corps at the port of Tekirdag. To their surprise, the highway was devoid of resistance. Men grew weary, fearing that they were being led into ambush. Thankfully they were proven wrong following reports of allied naval landings in Sila and Karaburun. The Ottomans have sent most of their forces to defend Istanbul in response. The march went smoothly and Corfu eventually linked up in outskirts of Tekirdag. A glorious battle would be fought tomorrow and the troops decided to rest.

Assault on Trabzon Underway by the Joshenian Forces

The Joshenian air force early this morning launched air strikes on air bases in Hopa and Trabzon as this was going on Joshenian reconnaissance jets captured Ottoman military movements from Hopa to Trabzon. Trabzon is an important city to the Ottoman Sultanate as it provides a lot to the nations GDP but also has a high population of Greek Orthodoxs. Military intelligence reports state that areas with high concentration of christians in the Ottoman Sultanate are very well to do so the Ottoman military are moving their forces to these areas to protect the Sultanate from being economically impaired.

With Hopa left with a few troops the Joshenian Knights numbered at 3000 were able to quickly subdue the Ottoman Soldiers and capture the city after 3 hours of fighting. Joshenian Navy is expected to set up naval bases at Hopa and eventually Trabzon after it falls. At around 12 pm Joshenian Defence Force troops numbered at 12000 joined the Joshenian Knights enroute to Trabzon. At 3pm the Joshenian assault on Trabzon begun, Ottoman forces having had their air force destroyed made use of BM-21 Grad MRLs against Joshenian positions. Joshenian forces called for air support but Ottoman anti aircraft gun have been effective in minimizing damage, Joshenian air force has also been unable to help the ground forces gain an advantage due to fear of killing civilians as Ottoman Troops are using Orthodox Greek civilians as human shields. The fighting in Trabzon has stopped as the sun sets with Joshenian force having only captured the south east of the city. Joshenian intelligence has reported Ottoman troop movements from the cities of Van and Erzurum with the troops approaching Trabzon. The picture looks grime for Joshenian forces in Trabzon and only great tactical maneuvers and back up from one of the allies can actually help the Joshenian forces capture Trabzon.

Earlier this week PotaTownian forces assembled on the airfield. The troop count exceeded 250,000. Tanks were also spotted, but the PotaTownian Air Force was nowhere to be found. The military airfield where the troops gathered, Area 2a2o, is concealed at an undisclosed location.
The nation was disrupted early in the morning by Cymiopolitan Planes soaring through the sky. The planes landed in Area 2a2o and witnesses report what seemed to be
"mass amounts of military boarding the cargo planes." The planes soon took off, heading towards the east.

Reinforcements had arrived at the front, bolstering Korochunovite numbers to a total of ~40,000 soldiers active on the front, with around 750 tanks and 1,000 other motorized/mechanized vehicles in support of the infantry and artillery. Naval bombardment of Ottoman positions has begun, with the prongs of the offensive beginning to push out from their beachheads towards Istanbul. Anti-aircraft guns and SPAAs are also in large comparative number, as a lack of air support is a critical issue that must be fixed in the near future.
