I am working on a post with Port Ember. I know Cardwiths is working on a post with some of the ISVC folks, and the Guild have their own hotel air strike response post full in the works right now. We're going to fire this baby back up!

I know I always say this, but posts are in the works. Promise!

Might be some done that just need to get posted. Will review to make sure. Rolling into the holidays here, hoping some time frees up for some with breaks, but sometimes it means less time, of course, depending on school, family, and work situations.

I have made a vow to myself that this is the year to wrap up any unfinished RP, or at least do my part to speed that along. That includes not joining new ones that haven't been previously planned. I need a clean slate.
Wrapping up includes this RP here. A lot of folks have faded out, mostly due to RL issues, busy with life, etc. It happens.
I have gotten in touch with who I could, and I think we're on the same page.

I have a plan for going forward, as we have to tread somewhat lightly with it being part of Wishtonian canon, we can't just glass the whole island and be done with it.

Here is what I propose:
1. I have to work some stuff out with Myrmidon/PE, but we will figure out a way to wrap up the coup fight in the Palace. There may be some pre-written RP we have on a doc that did not get posted. I will be looking for it.

2. Mehatar - This is a tough one for the ISC, but I think the attack will fail. The Guild is freed up to reinforce local Royal Jaraguptan forces, and they are freed up with the failed coup.
Hutanjia has declared that they will send reinforcements, and has begun to mobilize, because Jaragupta and Gaul (Terre des Gaules) are their allies. Hutanjian troops will tip the balance, and it risks re-igniting the war between Hutanjia and the Cardwiths.
At most, Mehatar would become a besieged city under ISVC occupation, and that's not sustainable for the ISVC in the long term. They would withdraw as soon as it looked like progress was failing in trying to cross the Tanama River and hit Mavala, the capital. Leaving mainland Jaragupta back in the Kingdom's hands (and allies).
PMC Guild involvement would likely end here, and the contract would be completed. A couple more posts and the Varangian Guard/Guild troops that escaped the hotel bombing get out through the tunnels to safety.
HDLF would go back underground and lick their wounds...or retreat to Gahana. See below.

3. Gahana - It is under ISVC occupation and declared an independent nation, a socialist people's republic. I think that this IS sustainable for the ISVC, even though resupply would get tricky trying to navigate past Kenega and Hutanjia. Still worth it to maintain a base there. The channel between Gahana and Jaragupta would act as a DMZ. There might be some air and naval raids back and forth. ISVC nations would be welcome to RP forces stationed on Gahana. I think this is the opportunity for a sequel RP in the future. Where Jaragupta, with Gaulic and Hutanjian help, attempts to re-take Gahana.
