“Do hurry back.”

Prince Jonatan said with a false smile. The moment that atheism Kegaran dwarf was our if war shot, he turned to Prince Christaan and spoke quietly.

“You would happen to have a letter of credence would you?”

The second lieutenant smiled softly as the soldier cane back, handing him a seventeen inch combat knife. He held it expertly though with a nonchalant manner. He flipped it around as he looked down at the man. He certainly could crave him up like a turkey if he so desired, though he wouldn’t dare, at least not himself personally. The optics of it would look terrible.

“暴力的? 知っている。 野蛮ですね。” the second lieutenant said. “お茶なし、怖いです”. The war in Dattan had cut off over twenty percent of the world’s tea supply, and the colonies’s tea would be heading towards the motherland or towards the Empress’s group further south. He held the knife carefully. “戦争は激しいです. 私達は戦争状態にある.”

The words are curt, mechanical. Though the movements of the second lieutenant were smooth, fluid and relaxed. He searched for the right words. “あなた、敵、それとも友達?”

Christaan smirked at Jonatan. “I can have the countess right something up on one of the staff’s training brochures.”

Prince Jonatan nodded. Okay. This plan could work. They were merely going to pose as a diplomatic mission to meet the King of Kegara using a faked letter of credence on a yacht staff training brochure. This surely could go wrong. He leaned over to Christaan, whispering into his ear.,

“What exactly is your plan Christaan? You, you do have a plan right?”

Christaan let his eyes linger on where Contriller Tianwana has disappeared to. His mind was quickly laying out a plan of attack, imagined them allblike chess pieces and the world was his board. He quickly realized he was going to have to sacrifice a piece in order to win the game. He hoped it was worth it. “Of course I have a plan.” That was all he said.

Christian sent word to the former Prime Minister’s wife and a few minutes later one of the yacht staff disembarked and handed it to Christaan, who in turned handed it to Prince Jonatan.

“Mr. Ambassador.”Christaan said with a smile.”

Controller Tianwana did not return. Instead a 5' 2" tall dark skinned woman walked down the dock, clearly from her face an angry aura pulsed around her. She had an oval face, a stubby nose, and full lips. Her hazel eyes were round and she had just wisps of eyebrows. Her brown hair was mid-back length and thick, and braided in cornrows. Her long dress was brightly printed green and yellow, matching large earrings that dangled from her ears.

“Yoa' ighness, Yoa' ighness.” She bowed to the two princes, her voice accented with Kegari. “I’m Maliza Arusiwana. You ave come on a diplomatic mission?” Arusiwana looked over the two foreign princes suspiciously. Tianwana had warned her that there was something odd about the two of them and their “yacht”.

Prince Jonatan nodded, holding the brochure with a imperious and official flick of his wrists, careful for the words that might have given away the true nature of the paper's contents. His nose held upwards towards the sky as he spoke as if he were impatient. He was nervous at Christaan's lack of explanation of his plan, but he,in such a situation he was willing to go along with his scheme.

"Yes, I am here to present my letter of credence to the King. We were on are way here when our ship was damaged and upon our arrival, your little controller has tried to keep us here. I do hope that this issue is fix, immediately, otherwise the King of Racraigua will hear about this."

Ren mulled this over, he was disappointed about the tea, but that was a minor issue at the moment, he was confused on how this man saw him as wild. He had satisfied honor, without trying to make too much of a scene. Unfortunately the Dutch had attacked him, without so much as a letter of engagement or even a verbal challenge to combat, they completely disregarded the ettiqute of war, forcing Ren to act in an unbefitting manner. " 私は野生ですか?あなたの人々は戦争のエチケットを無視します、あなたは「文明化された戦争哲学」を読んでいませんか?" he asked naming off one of the mandated texts that every warrior and Noble had to read in the Astral Empire.

The second lieutenant looked at the man annoyed. He had misunderstood him it seemed.

“We have broken no laws of war.” He paused before remembering that the man didn’t understand a superior tongue. “法律違反はありません.” He paused a thought coming to his head. The Dutch were being restrained by their generals to structing obey the rules of war. They could not be seen breaking the very laws that had been written in their own country for a model of the world. But The Hague Conventions had limits. And sphere of influence.

The second lieutenant gestured between himself and the man as he spoke, trying to say the words carefully. “私たちは戦争状態にありますか?”

Ren shrugged, "あなたは戦争状態にある、私はそうではない" he was not here to fight the man nor his country. He was curious about this man and his culture, it was clear they were not trained in the proper ettiqute of war, and instead preferred to fall to fall into chaos, which was in his opinion a sad parody for war.

The second lieutenant nodded thoughtfully. This man was claiming to be a spy for a nation that did not exist yet spoke a language associated with their silent enemy but asserted that he was not at war with him.

“結構。 それからあなたは亡命に入れられるものとします”. This man nearly needed professional help.

Emperor Hiro sighed, it was time to secure his warriors safety. He stood up, grabbing his cane, he resented being old, in his youth he had lead many battles for resources against improper creatures securing his place on the Astral throne, now he was feeble, weak. His years ageing him greatly, he walked slowly to a side door, it had not been opened in a long time. He pressed his had to a sensor, opening the door, behind it was a simple command terminal, already on and waiting. He coughed, it rattled throughout his chest, shaking his body. He pressed a single button, then relaxed into the chair in front of the computer.

----------------------------------------

Prince Jirou sighed, his father had called them, his siblings, besides his youngest sister where rarely near their father, having a distant relationship with the Emperor and were assigned responsiblities in order to maintain the empire. Now he was here, as he had been the closest, the planet below had not even noticed them, their stealth technology concealing his ship, he had a small entourage, but this was a diplomatic misson and he was more than qaulified to deal with any attacks on his person. His second put a hand on his shoulder, they had both trained with Ren, the man was always a stickler for ettiquete, now they would have to collect him. He asked his servants to open a communication line, send a simple message, in the same binary code as the tattoos that all warriors wore. It simply explained the astral empire, and requested the turning over of their man Ren, and further discussion on how this could be avoided in the future. He hoped this would go over well.

The second lieutenant was walking out the man’s cell when an officer walked up to with an alert expression. He stopped with a bow before looking up at him.

“Sir, we just received a message from a ship in orbit. It’s a message from the, uh, Astral Empire, requesting the release of one of their warriors, named Ren, and, they uh wish to discuss further avoidance of this in the future.”

The second lieutenant stared back the officer and then at the man in the cell with a tilted gaze. How unexpectedly interesting. He looked back at the Officer.

“Tell then we can discuss it over tea.”

The officer nodded and went to go do so. The second lieutenant let out a low sigh. This was sure to be interesting.

Arusiwana bowed her head to the Racraiguan Prince and pulled her hands behind her back, her eyes steeling and slightly annoyed as she rose and gestured towards the water. She could not simply refuse the mission of diplomacy. Or rather she could not be the one to refuse them. She would take them to the palace to face the refusal of the King.

"Undesstandable. I shall ave a boat bwought up fo' oa' joa'ney to the palage Yoa' ighnesses."

She sent such a message and several minutes passed before a long bow, brightly colored, much like everything in Kegara, painted a vibrant green and red and black that sat low in the water as it came up to the docks. Arusiwana looked up at the two Princes pointed towards the boat in a way that was not in the slightest friendly or inviting.

"Wight this way."

Prince Jirou put a neutral expression on his face, it would not do to show emotion in the presence of foreigners. He was interested in these planet dwellers, they were a curious bunch, living on earthen orbs that are flung in circles through space, like primitive animals. He found in endearing, he and his entourage walked off their orbital shuttle, stepping foot onto the ground, patiently waiting for their local counterparts to meet them. He hoped there would be tea, these things always went better with tea.

A small area had been cleared for the meeting. Behind the backdrop of the untouched Aogaian jungle and mountains to the north, the battlefield that still had lingering smoke and smelt of fire when the wind blew the wrong way, whilst the picturesque, of a bit now decorated with carrots and rumble and medical tents, town of Manumaile and the fields that feed so much of the world lay to the south and east. The Dutch preferred coffee, mostly thanks to the Tea Wars that had struggled to pull a monopoly on tea from the Hollande Dynasty, and with the largest producer of tea revolting, shipments to the country had been interrupted. The second lieutenant alone had the power to get tea here, well, the Empress and the princess he supposed no doubt had some tea as well.

The second lieutenant had discarded the knife and taken a seat in at the table, which had another seat across from him. There was a short supply of pastures, the second lieutenant had specifically wished not to go to the frontlines weighed down by such superficial luxuries, though respectable plates of chocolates. A stroopwafel sat atop his cup of Orange black tea, everything was always Orange or Purple in his life. When the Nekatans, the second lieutenant had soldiers escort them to the prepared clearing. He wasn’t going to be made to come to anyone. The prisoner, Ren, meanwhile was held with the Dutch soldiers, natives from the colonies, that lined up a few paces from the table. Ren was still placed in restraints, but the soldiers no longer held their guns to him, it was impolite during discussion such as this.

Prince Christaan nodded boredly nodded his head and walked past Arusiwana without a second glance. If he was faxed by the woman’s clear dislike of this arrangement, he did not show it. He casually made his way down to the boat as if he were on a mindless and urgentless errand, to pick up a novel from a book store or pick up coffee from down the street. His eyes looked over the boat, taking note of it. He found a seat and reclined on it in a relaxed position.

Prince Jirou sat at the table across from the second lieutenant, he did not even spare a glance at Ren, as not to provide them with an emotional response. "こんにちは、私はアストラル帝国の王子次郎です。" These planet dwellers were clearly dressed for war, he wondered what they were fighting over.

The second lieutenant watched as Jirou of the Astral Empire sat down before him, looking him up and down as he gestured for a cup to be placed before him. A fine porcelain tea cup with orange black tea freshly made with a stroopwafel. He noticed Jirou’s expressionless face and was instantly reminded of Prince Christaan ever present bored look. It was not the same, but they echoed of one another.

“こんにちは。 私はオランダ帝国のアーサーです.” Artuur said, one of the phrases he understood perfectly. Artuur gestured to the plate of chocolates, not knowing the Asakuese word for them. “Chocolade?”

Jirou didn’t seem to be very expressive or in any urgency, so why should Artuur? He had been trained in pointless ceremonial pleasantries his entire life. He hated it, but he could easily slip into the role of a prince at a parley.

Prince Jirou raised a hand to refuse the offer. he did not partake in chocolate, it was far too rich for his palate. "私たちの相互知人は健康に保たれてきたと思いますか" he gently took hold of his cup of tea, sipping it slowly, savoring it's flavor. It was very different from the green tea he was used to.

Prince Artuur shrugged and took a piece of chocolate in his mouth. No use of good childcare going to waste. Why was it concerned so much preferred to have conversations over food and beverages? He had been taught by his mother that all good deals came over good meals. Though his brothers might have said the same thing about beds and on battlefield. Artuur looked around at their surroundings. Two out of Three wasn’t so bad.

“おそらく。” Artuur said slowly, careful to pronounce each world carefully as he tried to use as much of his vocabulary as possible. The young militant prince did not like having to communicate this way. He could not express his statements with as much eloquent as he truly desired. “私はあなたの行動がそれが将来どれだけうまくいくかを示すだろうと思います”

Prince Jirou did not physically react, instead taking another sip of his tea. "私の行動は満足のいくものになると思います" He paused seeming to mull over a very interesting thought. "さて、私たちが罪を犯しているという具体的な犯罪は何ですか。"

Artuur had raised an eyebrow slightly at the first part of Jirou's statement, finding it seemingly odd of an expression with the Nekatan's stony and almost unnatural calm. He listened intently, finding that the grammatical structure of their language quite different from Dutch. He held his teacup in his hand gently and spoke.

"スパイ."

Prince Jonatan watched Prince Christaan stroll easily into the boat. He looked to his soldiers, faceless behind their armored visors and directed them to go aboard, which they did without question, taking up defense positions on it. Once they had, Prince Jonatan himself stepped aboard and took a seat next to Prince Christaan, though his posture was far less relaxed than his friends. He was still putting in the mask of an imperious ambassador, and he didn’t think his heart would allow him to relax. They were going with only a handful of men, leaving behind Stéphanie, and the ship and go into the heart of territory that might prove to be enemy.

Prince Jirou raised an eyebrow, "おそらく好奇心から、それは間違っていますか?" He sighed, "とにかく彼はあなたにとって何が重要なのでしょう。" He hoped he could get their man back quickly but it seemed that the Dutch might have different ideas.

Prince Artuur looked disapprovingly at Prince Jirou. Had he just tried to dismiss the breaking of international law as a mild expedition of curiousness? That would never have been held up in Dutch courts, or even in international ones. The Nekatan's codes explaining who Ren was had given Prince Artuur enough evidence that should he wish he suspected he could have him executed, and if not that, send him before the Empress, who would probably have him executed.

"スパイ行為は重大な犯罪です。 私は彼のことはあまり気にしない。 彼はおそらく処刑されるでしょう。 私はあなたが彼を救いたいと思いますか?"

Prince Jirou sighed, did they insist on charging Ren with a crime? He is took a sip of his tea, "あなたが単に彼を解放しないのなら、あなたは何が欲しいですか?" He wondered what motivated this man, what would make him willing to comply.
