In regards to my airforce not allowed to provide offensive air strikes, my aircraft, primarily F-35B operating from Mare Imbrium is tasked to provide Scantarbian troops on the ground with air support, if no one else is there to provide them with any.

On a second note, do the Javierans have any aircraft?

Just basic prop planes and helicopters. No designated fighters unless the Balniki provided them some. That's how the communists lost the last war: their main stronghold at Santa Ana was blown of the map by foreign planes.

So, to follow this up, Neg gave me the muslim guys to use as I would. I think I would have just absorbed some broken fighters from them after the various battles in the south to buff my numbers in the North. We set up a lightly armed, but good force in the northern Isles and secured a small port which we use to ferry refugees from there to our bases. These communists actually do what they're supposed to for once, setting up what is essentially a commune of refugees in the north. From there, they can gain international support by calling attention to the crisis.

In the wonderful game of politics, Thuzbekistan and friends jump in to help, even going so far to allow Miklanian vessels to stop and search relief cargo vessels given our interaction last time we met. It would put us in a much better light, give us a contact with the communists, and turn the whole "Thuzbekistan is evil" outlook to "well, I guess they did something good".

Menna, what did you think of this? Mik and others too

I would like to send my ambassador to meet with either the Foreign Minister of Menna Shuli or Miklania, to discuss the removal of Wellsian “volunteers “ from San Javier.

The sending of an ambassador to openly discuss that would be a great source of amusement for the Foreign Office.

As for the commies, that sounds like a great idea. One way to implement it might be a little radical. They don't attempt to fight at all, but come into open as a fully fledged humanitarian aid force, and *gasp* cooperate with the invading Miklanian army. The logic for it being fairly simple: if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. A major objective of the Miklanian force is to make the whole debacle a little more humanitarian, and we have the resources ready and waiting to do that. The communists have, or will have once they start, the connections and interpersonal infrastructure to get it done. They then make their move after the war in the political arena, while all the other parties would have been decimated and off-balance by the fighting, they would have been quietly preparing for the new 'democratized' arrangement. They would have a powerful platform of war-weariness and improving the lives of the people, since they would be the ones running the vital emergency medical and infrastructure services in the areas where they cooperated with the RMA (which will eventually be almost everywhere).

Yeah, I like all of this. We can even begin pushing towards an endgame if we have all this in mind.

So I didn't want to do an IC info dump like I sometimes do, so I'll describe the Council here:

The council is made up of representatives from the three major towns on Isla Martin and Mujeres. Sarragossa is at the north of Martin, San Juniper to the South, and, as seen on the map, Guadalupano is on Isla Mujeres.

Felipe and Toni represent San Juniper
Dionisio and Fermin represent Sarragossa
Leandro (the chairman who has no vote) and Manolo represent Guadalupano.

My plan is for them to start gathering refugees in the town across from them West of Puerto Polo, where they had been gathering to cross for some time. The commies control the islands, most people know that, so they are going to the only ones not fighting so far to try and get away from the savagery of both the Javerian and Mennan forces as well as some foreigners stomping around as mercenaries. I mean, when the whole island is engulfed in total rather than guerrilla warfare, it's time to leave.

I plan to release the message to the league via their radio broadcasts and TSN would report them internationally as well.

What say you?

On the other side, I'm planning to create my own little compound near the landing site, as it seems that the Pueblo Ignacio base started getting quite cramped. Although by now, the engineers have finished clearing a dirt road between the landing site and putting pontoon bridges on the rivers and building a makeshift port on the shore. I'm planning to have my own refugee center opened there to cater to those who are unable to go north while my army will swing west and made contact with SJFF while doing PR and humanitarian actions to the villages along the way, eventually this could end up with the siege of Rio Pena.
