In Jerusalem,

Prime Minister Yadzhik Rabin is seen looking out his office through a window built to withstand up to a 40mm cannon round. He is hoping that this cold war doesn't go hot. With Israel more worried with the Arab countries that are around her as well as Persia to the east, she has decided to remain neutral in this cold war. Israel is willing to ally herself with the other neutrals to stay safe.

Slavic Presidium, Kremlin, Moscow, Trans Slavia

The ministers sit around the round table of the Presidium, with the President facing the window. The president called the meeting of the presidium to acknowledge the situation on the Western Border and the Baltic Situation. "Comrade President, the Baltics have always been a bastion of western democracy and a storage house for unnecessary weapons. We should try to negotiate with Bolslania to set up a buffer state so that nuclear weapons can be removed from the Baltic so we can ease tensions." The Minister of Foreign Affairs would say. "Are you kidding? Bolslania would never accept a reasonable offer. The best option we have is a quick strike into their Baltic states." The Minister of Defence would retort. "Let's not be too hasty. A war would result in a nuclear strike on the Capital. It's best if we decide to negotiate. I'll send a message to the Bolslanian capital." The President would finish.

Urada Spyba stands facing his window out onto the crowd below. The are cheering and holding up banners and flags. The event? Commanding General Rijah Peace 57th birthday. Spyba wondered what the General would want, he had been talking about knocking Swaziland out of the picture. Getting rid of the hole in Wistaney publia. Urada turned around and picked up his phone to call General Prince. This will be over quickly.

Johann Windikart, or Ilyushin Viktor Grigorievich, as he is known in Slavia, sits at a table at a cafe in Moscow. His head is down, hand covering the side of his face facing the street, his eyes darting around to watch for anyone with cameras pointing at him or police coming towards him. Nothing, good.

"Ah! Mr. Grigorivich! Good to see you!" Johann turned around to see Sasha Ivanovich
"Ah, Mr. Ivanovich. Good to see you." Johann replied putting fake emotion into his voice.
"Please, sit" Sasha sat down, instantly, Johann's voice turned serious
"Find anything?"

"Da, the Ministers are talking about an attack on the Baltics" he whispered "Now, my pay?"

"Good job, here." Johann handed a fat stack of currency to Sasha as he stood up

"I bid you a good day."

2 hours later,

Paris
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE BASTARDS FUCKING THINKING!" President Oberst yelled

the generals leaned back at this outburst

"Alright, will move extra forces to the Baltics, and put missiles and standby."

"Good, get to it." Oberst said leaving the room."

The 10the and 11th infantry divisions set out for the Baltics to support the 54th armored and missile bases in France activate on constant standby

Baltic Border Zone X-214, Pskov District

A border guard would stand on his watchtower, watching the Baltic Border area X-214 through the lenses of his binoculars, dotted with rain drops. His comrade in the radio room, smoking, awaiting orders. "Hey Alexei? Are you seeing this?" The Border guard would ask. The radio operator would turn around and walk outside. He'd look across the border fence. "What the hell?" The Radio operator would mutter. The operator ran back inside and radioed the St. Petersburg Military District. "This is X-214, we're seeing enemy movement across the border, heavy tanks and large masses of infantry, out!" the Operator would say into his radio.

Kremlin, Moscow, Trans Slavia

The president of Slavia picks up a note left on his desk, and reads it. He drops the note and rushes over to the ministry of foreign affairs and asks for the Slavic Ambassador to Bolslania. He picks up the phone and speaks to the Ambassador. "What is it Comrade President?" The Ambassador would ask. "Things aren't going well, Nikolai, The Bolslanians are mobilizing on the Baltic. I need you to speak with the Bolslanian president as soon as you can, we are in a state of emergency." The president says into the phone. "Right away, Comrade President!" The Ambassador would say into the phone as he hung up. The President then went over to the Ministry of Defence and asked for 500 Long Range missiles to be placed in a secure location in Poland.

Paris, Bolslania

The Ambassador would approach the President of Bolslania, he was holding a briefcase full of papers. "Good afternoon, Mr. President. I need a private discussion with you urgently." The Ambassador would say.

"Mr. President, your unjustified acts on the Baltic are intolerable, we demand that you leave the Baltic and establish a neutral buffer state, where no military is to be stationed there. In retaliation to your aggressive acts, we have placed 500 Long Range Missiles in Poland." The Ambassador would reply gravely.

Emperor Hirohito looks out the windows of the Imperial Palace. A military general walks in and hands him a paper with the label "European Affairs." Hirohito reads over it carefully and hands it back to the general, his hand shaking, thinking about the devastation that could occur.

"Is this right, Tojo?" Tojo nodded.

"We... we have to take a stance in this Cold War, for the better of humanity! But, what if we pick the wrong side?'

"In my opinion, we must take the stance of Slavia. They are closer, and have control of many vital resources which we do not have."

Hirohito sighed, but Tojo knew what Hirohito had decided. Slavia has a new ally in the Pacific.

The Slavic Ambassador to Japan approaches the Imperial Palace, he is scheduled to meet with Emperor Hirohito regarding the sharing of Pacific ports and a new trade system. As the ambassador approaches the gate of the Imperial Palace, he stops and shows his Identification to the guards at the gate. He walks through the gate and enters the palace. He is led to a meeting room inside the palace, he then sits down at the table, waiting for the emperor or some other figure to show up.

A note has been delivered to the Bolslanian ambassador in San Francisco. In this note, the Californian Delegates for International Affairs propose a deepened cooperation between Bolslania and California, mainly in the military field, to help each other against the Slavic threat. The ambassador was also invited to a concert of the Symphonic Orchestra of Oregon, where they will be able to discuss the issue with their Californian counterparts.

His secretary, sitting at her desk, would look up and say:

"Good Morning, Ambassador, here, an alert from The Party."
Wu would take the alert with a "Thank you." And walk into his office.

The alert would say

ALERT

Japan has joined the alliance, cease all planned or operational hostilities, Japan is now allied with Slavia, and there for China.

Wu would smile, a rare occurence, and sit down to write to the Japanese leadership.

The letter would say

We welcome change and openness; for we believe that freedom and security go together, that the advance of human liberty can only strengthen the cause of world peace. There is one sign the Bolslanians can make that would be unmistakable, that would advance dramatically the cause of freedom and peace. General Secretary Oberst, if you seek peace, if you seek prosperity for the world and Eastern Europe, if you seek liberalization, come here to this gate. Mr. Oberst, open this gate. Afghan-Slavic Friendship Bridge, February 24, 1975

Through the crisp morning of February 24, the faint sound of the Slavic armored column would echo throughout the valley. The sound of the column got louder and louder as they approached the Afghan border. At last, the Armored column has crossed into Afghanistan, initiating the invasion of Afghanistan. More columns would cross the bridge, and move to take nearby Towns, Villages, and Cities. One column would move east to secure the China-Afghan border. That would be the completion of the first phase of the invasion of Afghanistan. Officers say that the invasion will take a week at most to complete.
