Nordstock picks up the telephone and dials the Bolslanian Ministry of Warfare

"Green light, I repeat green light." He says

"Roger that, the man on the other side of the line says.

Soldiers and Marines are loaded onto ships and planes. The Task group is known as Task Force Braden, for the name of the commander, Major General James H. Braden from the Marine Corps. From the Army is Task Force Omaha, under the command of Major General Charles S. Wilton

A Carrier group comprised of 1 carrier, 2 cruisers, 2 frigates, and 4 destroyers sit 5 miles of the coast, sending up fighters and AWACs to patrol the surrounding area.

As tensions grew, the crew radioed back to their base in Mauritius. It wasn’t long before it reached the front desk of the president.

30000 FEET OVER WISTANEY PUBLIA CONFLICT ZONE, 4:34 AM

A fleet of Slavic Antonov An-26 transport aircraft silently fly over the conflict zone early in the Morning, as not to be seen by Wistaney Publian or Rebel Anti-air. A few minutes later, the rear gate drops and a green light flashes. A battalion of paratroopers drops into the conflict zone, though some go off course; most land in the LZ. As the last paratroopers regroup at the LZ, they head towards Bokong where a group of GRU opratives are waiting.

I am glad to hear you have updated your military, but Trans-Slavia is no longer being a nuisance, what is a nuisance is the insurgent attacks in Wistaney publia, ask President Spyba if you can send forces.

Meanwhile in the Mojave desert, a group of scientists prepare to test the first ever nuclear weapon that the CSA had ever built. After the end of WW2, the Confederacy was willing to start development of their own nuclear weapons as a deterrent to scare their enemies and to show the world that the Confederacy had indeed moved forward into the future.

Sir, we are ready to test our first ever nuclear weapon, when they hear about our achievement, they will be convinced that we are a superpower which makes me proud to be a part of this great endeavor


Colonel Jerry Butler gave the go ahead to drop the nuke while he and the other scientists put on their goggles and the countdown began


Preparing to drop the bomb in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 3, 2, 1 and now


He pressed the button and a bright flash of light engulfed the desert as a wave of fire spread across the lands and any desert critters who lay in it's path were burnt to a crisp. After the nuclear explosion subsided, a massive mushroom cloud rose up from the scorched earth and was as high as a redwood tree


My friend, we have truly become the destroyers of our our own planet, may the Lord have mercy on us all for we have truly shown our enemies that we have truly moved beyond the past


The scientists cheered as the nuclear bomb exploded nearby, but Colonel Butler sat down on his chair and began to pray for forgiveness as he knew that they had become destroyers of humanity while the others cheered and drank champagne

The Dakshinan Fleet backed down, for now. They knew they couldn't risk engaging a fight when they were clearly under equipped. They radioed back a simple signal of understanding and began to head back to port. They chose to dock off the coast of Comoros, well-positioned off the coast of Wistaney yet far enough way as to not raise alarm. Hours after docking in Maroni, they communicated the relative failure back to Kerala.

President Patel paced up and down her office as the naval commander read her off the news. "I suppose my speech had no effect on them?"
"It doesn't appear so, no." Commander Laghira answered bluntly. "Bolsania has continued operations against the 'rebels'. Their navy also denied our escort's access to Wistaney's waters."
President Patel stood, puzzled at what to do. Of course, she didn't want to declare war without committed allies in the world. She came to a short resolution. "I want our entire Western Fleet relocated off Toliara in Madagascar. That includes our three aircraft carriers."
Patel hoped if nothing else, gunboat diplomacy could at least intimidate Bolsania enough to ease back their restrictions.

The next day

3 Aircraft Carriers, 6 Destroyers, 20 Corvettes, and 15 submarines were en route to Toliara.

Once the paratroopers linked up with the GRU operatives, they'd move towards the insurgent stronghold of Thaba-Tseka where roughly 10,000 Militants have put up defences. After hours of walking through the valley, they were within a mile of the stronghold; a group of scouts would write down the positions of the heavy defences, insurgent barracks, command tents, etc. and the remaining GRU and Paratroopers slowly make their way down the hill. When the scouts return, they move around the fortifications towards the lower end of the hill where a DShK machinegun would be placed. Four RPG rockets would hit stone huts that acted as barracks and the Paratroopers charged down the hill, all the while the GRU operatives clear out the buildings and the Machinegunner attempts to shoot down the insurgents rushing to their positions in a panic. The insurgent unit commander, instead of being captured and possibly tortured by the GRU, takes his own life. The paratrooper radio unit tells a Moskva class aircraft carrier that the stronghold was captured and that Slavia has secured a foothold in the Lesotho conflict zone, Hours later, Hinds patrol the surrounding area.

They deploy around the camp, and move in slowly, when the scouts see the Slavian Paratroopers, they drop behind the crest of the hill and report back

Colonel Gruber orders them to set up a firing solution and question the Slavian Partroopers, meanwhile, 3 more platoons of Marines are sent out.

The platoon advance slowly, set up LMGs and train their rifles on the Paratroopers
