Funny enough though, I actually feel that my latest two posts were rushed on my end due to cutting content to make them more palatable and not such a wall of text to read. If they start getting too much, please feel free to yell at me and ill try my best to shorten them up some.

It's all good man. The only time I really have time to dedicate to these lengthy posts is on weekends as I don't work then. Otherwise, it's a much harder thing to accomplish during the week, especially working overnights as I do.

Mr. Clancy was actually in inspiration of mine. His novels literally got me though some tough spots in life by letting my mind escape. Clive Cussler as well.

Nah it’s not that, it’s just the sheer knowledge of it all. Your a genius at despensing it. Every time I explain my tactics they just are a crush of tanks there, infantry there, planes there, and they’re all attacking here. It’s quite barbaric to be honest.

Again, here on NS, even in "competitive" storytelling, you are still here to have fun and work together with others to tell the story. Do what you feel comfortable with, and don't be afraid to bounce ideas OOC off with the other participants within the RP.

Honestly, you would be better off just sticking to conventional High Explosive (HE).

However, if you really want to use something creative in a RP setting... while not very effective against vehicles, you could use "Flechette" (aka Beehive) rounds in your artillery pieces if they are bigger then 105mm.

Not a bad idea. I mean, It's worked for North Korea so far on the DMZ.

That being said, If I may offer some OOC advice for the IC.

If I was in your shoes right now and the roles were reversed... I would honestly be pulling back whatever is left of my initial force from that beachhead and falling back far enough to get out of the effective range of those 16inch Navel Guns and trying to reorganize and dig in. As long as you remain within the effective kill zone for those guns, you are just going to be bleeding manpower hand over fist.

Remember, nobody won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor soul die for his.
