Upon hearing that the remnants of the CDF were in the library, the three sharpshooters started blasting away at anyone they saw through the windows the of the library. As they were shooting, they noticed a couple CDF personnel who had managed to get to the roof. While the sniper in the church continued to shoot the attackers through the window, the others changed their firing angles and started shooting the attackers who were trying to get on the roof to attack the trapped CDF members. As they continued to fire they stayed vigilant to the situation until they keyed each other over the radio and decided to exfil themselves. With skill they slipped out of their sniper nests and disappeared into the streets among the civilians who were fleeing the massacre at the library.

On the roof, teenagers resort to jumping from the building to escape the fighting, which doesn't last long. The roof is quickly cleared.

Meanwhile, in the basement, Hypronian forces are having trouble breaching the basement door, which had been blocked with wooden boards and a bookcase. It would require explosives to get through. It doesn't help that stray bullets were grazing their backs as the firefight continued in the main areas of the library.

Upon realizing that the battle is much more in-city than they thought, they all march inwards towards where they believe most of the fighting is going on. It will take them about 30 minutes to get to the library.

The first to enter are killed, some managed to survive but due to the large number of soldiers who entered, managed to eliminate some policemen and some teenagers, others are injured miraculously and are not killed by Akatian soldiers, but are reduced and arrested.
