That's right my man!

Vanquaria's right - you don't get to post here without being put on the list. You're my fifth opponent Image

P.S. Conditional/you may opt out later Image

Edit: Nazi Philippine Empire, only three days left! Time is ticking away, my man! Let's see if you've got what it takes to defeat me!

Haha, don't mind it at all, although this is dependent on my activity level - I might die again around March/April

He's told me all about you! Your long history in Greater Dienstad and your achievements - I've seen your work.

I feel honoured - I accept your challenge! I'll contact Astoriya to see if I can have you as my second opponent instead (I'll face Astoriya after you). Let's see if your reputation truly precedes you once we've finished with The Archbishop and His Mission!

You won't go down without a fight, this pleases me greatly. And thank you for reshuffling your schedule to appease the Greater Dienstad Bloodgod of Vegetarianism :)

In terms of NationStates as a spare-time hobby, I started in 2010 as a noob. When I saw storytellers and writers from such ancient great names as Greater Dienstad, Gholgoth, Tarquinia, Thyrrenia, Nova and Haven - the best of the best - I thought to myself: one day, I'll be their equal.

I learnt from Jenrak. I learnt from Questers. I learnt from Praetonia. I learnt from Automagfreek. I learnt from New Azura. I learnt from Lyras. I learnt from Lamoni. I observed the work of the ancient storytellers. I learnt from Damirez, Wagdog, The State of Monavia and Nova by reading the amazing Smoke on the Water thread - the best collaborative storytelling thread I had seen from the 2009-2010 days. And many other threads like it.

I joined The Conglomerate to learn from Jenrak, Amazonian Beast and to secretly observe the work of Leistung and Odecon. Even after I was voted on as one of the earliest NationStates II Roleplay Mentors in 2011 (until my resignation in 2012 after the bad thing I had done), I still want to learn and observe the work of the great writers: those who I know are better writers than I am.

I want to be the best by learning from the best. And today - by looking and observing their old threads from 2009-2010-2011 on NationStates, and even offsite such as Statesmanship and other RP regional forums, I know that I have surpassed every single one of them.

Deamonopolis old man, you're my role model back then. Just like Praetonia. Just like Questers. Just like Lyras and just like Lamoni. But today, finally after 9 long years, I have surpassed you - one of the oldest members and co-founders of Greater Dienstad himself: the great Deamonopolis of old.

I wanted to the best NationStates International Incidents writer. Bloodgod of Vegetarianism - I will beat you, and I will show to others that you - and those from your generation - are no match for me.

I'm arrogant, yes - and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I want to be the best, and I will be the best.

I can't wait to finish with The Archbishop and His Mission, so that I can face you, and show you, Greater Dienstad Bloodgod of Vegetarianism, that - after 9 years - I've finally surpassed you and those other great writers from your generation!

Your time is up. You have been disqualified. I will now post to represent an in-character southeast Asian national socialist nation - that is, I'll simply post back and forth (between the Realm of Yohannes and the southeast Asian national socialist nation) until the "The Archbishop and His Mission" thread has reached ten in-character posts

Yohannes was talking too much, but the sea of learning has no end Image

Even for spare-time hobby such as this lovely website, NationStates, it never ends. And to be fair, you'll face the two of us - not one

And thank Automagfreek, Damirez, Dread Lady Nathicana, Euroslavia, Jenrak, Lamoni, Leistung, Lyras, Melkor Unchained, Praetonia, Questers, The State of Monavia and many others that were my role models. I looked up to them and wanted to be the best because they were my inspiration - without them, Yohannes would not be here today

I know one day you, and the great players from Atlas will surpass Yohannes too. The sea of learning has no end, and the tide will help us reach our destination so long as we never give up trying!

It's funny though - despite being such a minor hobby, NationStates has largely impacted a lot of my life. It's a big reason why I've found academic success and it's also shaped my aspirations xD

Yes. I'm now posting from my old university helping a close friend with her project - it was here that I used to stay late at campus finishing up my late report draft while browsing NationStates. Seating here while posting this reply - I know what you're trying to say. NationStates is such a lovely place, where I can spend my free time in a fun-filled, productive way Image

Edit: My schedule gets busier (this week and next approaching February), and so I'll make my post shorter; but I will turn my thread (with the already disqualified Nazi Philippine Empire) into a permanent narrative storytelling thread instead
