Biography: Alejandro was born in San Sebastian, Spain, on March 30, 1971. His parents were wealthy minor nobility who had sided with the Francoists during the Spanish Civil War, and had been rewarded by the military after his victory. The trading and manufacturing empire that his family ran was quite influential in the north-eastern coast of Spain, but the restoration of democracy in Spain hit the family's jealously guarded monopoly hard. The boy was soon forced to watch his parents sell and sign away most of their wealth and enterprises, which imbued him with a hate for the new Spanish order. By all accounts, he was a relatively normal boy. His family moved to London in 1983, when he was 12, to take advantage of the gap that the Falklands War had left for Spanish-speaking corporations in England. After a few years, Alejandro's grades, and his family's finances, were good enough to send him to King's College London for his undergraduate degree, where he majored in political science and psychology. After completing his post-graduate studies at Cambridge, he became a British citizen and trained at the Sandhurst and Zaragoza officer schools for a career in the infantry. Alejandro served for four years in the Coldstream Guards as a lieutenant, seeing action in Afghanistan (where he was awarded the George Cross for assassinating a major Taliban commander and killing his bodyguards with a heavy machine gun and a shovel). He was promoted to Major at the end of hostilities, and knighted for his service as a Companion, CBE, in the Queen's Birthday Honors. It was around this time that he was contacted by the SCP Foundation to contain SCP-4444 in the 2000 US presidential election, in which he assisted in the Supreme Court's coercion to throw the election to President George HW Bush. When 9/11 hit, he was working at [REDACTED], and assisted in the containment and interrogation of SCP-503. Soon afterwards, he received training as a bio-chem researcher, and was assigned to a containment unit north of Grand Forks, where he battled SCP-097 when it infested the site. After a two-year stint there, he was transferred to MI6, where he served as a liaison inside the British Embassy, Madrid as a full colonel. At the same time, his parents passed away, leaving their sizable fortune to Alejandro and his siblings, forcing him to put his portion of the Ibarra inheritance in a secure trust. With the money, he purchased the Hotel du Palais in Biarritz, France (which provided him with a front for his activities' finances, as well as an MI6 safe house). He was then transferred over to Hong Kong to keep an eye on Chinese influence in the city-state, and serves there today. He is currently married to an Englishwoman (with whom he has two daughters), speaks fluent Spanish, Basque, English, French, German, and Cantonese, and has a passion for aviation, sailing, and the violin.
