I, Baroness Priscilla Stossel-Conde, the Minister of War of the Free Kingdom of Allanea, hereby deliver to the so-called Lethen Vikings the position of the Their Majesties' Government on the issue of Lethen Viking Piracy.
The Lethen Vikings, under the guise of so-called national sovereignty, have engaged around the world in acts of [piracy for hire, which we have frankly chosen to ignore as treading a fine line between piracy and mercenary work. However, recently speaking, the Lethen Vikings have announced their support for known slaver entities, and purchased a small quantity of slaves.
This solidifies our suspicions that the so-called "Lethen Vikings" [distinct, it appears, with more civilized Lethen entities we have cooperated with in the past] are a slaver and pirate organization. This renders them hostis sapiens generis, and exempt from the regular protections of law and custom.
We are, however, making a final offer for peace.
We ask that the "Vikings" release all slaves in their custody, cease all cooperation with slaver entities, and withdraw all threats of military operations against the Free Kingdom and its allies.
Should you not agree to our simple request, a punitive fleet will in fact sail to your shores and it will in no way end well for you.
