Decision and consequence

The captain of the ARA Vaade looks seriously at the ground and waited for an answer or some consequence, in his mind he remembered the oath he made for the flag of Akatia, where he swore subordination and loyalty to the nation. He remembered all his training, remembered the image of his wife and finally, remembered the Tsar Ekaterina Achaga, after remembering her her spirits rose, he was a faithful admirer of her and her exploits.

Oil companies and Gulf monarchs publicly congratulate Canada on improving its oil infrastructure, but away from the public eye, they start worrying that if Canada stops importing OPEC oil, then other countries will stop as well. A meeting in the new OPEC HQ is called.

It as a long time coming. Since 2020 we could have terminated the oil imports if we had the Energy east pipeline ready but back then we still had heavy opposition so only parts of it were built. Consider OPEC to be lucky that it happened a decade later than when we actually wanted it to be.

OPEC, realizing that Canada is giving them a bit more time before oil imports are cut off, starts preparing for when Canada stops buying oil.

They make no statement on Hypron stopping imports. In order to make up for this, they start exporting to other countries. Some MPs are concerned that Hypron and Canada are still mad at Iran over the Egyptian Crisis and that cutting off OPEC imports is their way of undermining Iran.

In OPEC, there is much arguing about Iran's position in OPEC. They argue that OPEC is meant to benefit all members, but it now benefits mainly Iran as its oil resources outweigh those of all other members.

IFRES takes this opportunity to spread Iranian renewable energy. Many companies, mainly from Turkey, Israel, Palestine, and Bahrain start advocating for renewable energy given the declining importance of oil. They also start selling renewable energy to other countries, causing Iran to have the largest renewable energy sector.

Ahmed agrees with this policy. His advisers tell him that he is not doing much by just going with what Canada says, so he tries sending knock knock jokes to the Hypronian and Akatian ships.

A Hypron Vessel almost clips a Canadian one because of that high speed maneuver. The Canadian captain is fine with that though. Canada did it's job again by orders of PM Pearson. War won't happen for another day, yet again the Hyprons are the bigger man in this situation.

[Akatia]

Meanwhile, Oblast of Odessa.

"I need you to mobilize 15,000 soldiers and move them to the west coast." ordered by Tsar Ekaterina Achaga to the General in chief of the army. The Tsar was already making preparations in case it had to take troops to the islands to be able to exploit the oil in the area. The Tsar was known not only for being a young Tsar, but for being very aggressive when it came to the British since she had a great hatred and encouraged a lot of xenophobia in Akatia, convinced her people for years that the united kingdom of Hypron it was just an invading and inferior nation.

In the ARA Vaale.

"Sir, what shall we do?" asked one of the crew's inferior to the captain, the whole crew was nervous about the situation since they did not have an armament to confront the British ships.

"We will continue with the patrol, if they know what is best for them, they will not attack us"

The Prime Minister makes a statement to the world, broadcasting in all languages:

"Today, the 2nd Carrier Strike Force fired 2 Akatian vessels in the Falklands Exclusion Zone. I know what went through the Admirals mind: We beat Argentina in the Falklands War, we could do it again. And I do agree, but I don't think that it is the best for Hypron.
