Controversy in the Brazilian-Akatian border!
The boundary line between Akatia and Brazil runs through 1236.2 kilometers of rivers and canals and more than 25.1 kilometers through hydrographic basins. Two days ago, border controls were reinforced by Akatia, sending an estimated 1,000 regular soldiers to border controls and collaborating with the security protocols required by Akatia.
These controls resulted in a massiveness of people in the Akatian border, unable to access the interior of the nation. Among the people outside the border are black people, Brazilians over 40, pregnant women and children. Akatia has not released the number of people who have gained access to the nation but according to multiple surveys conducted by independent media in Brazil to people trapped on the border, only 10 people managed to access the nation, which is claimed that at least 9 of them were Akatians. It is estimated that an estimated 6,000 Brazilians have been trapped on the border.
Currently Brazilians are on the Akatian border protesting against border measures opted by the southern country, which has not made any kind of scandal by the measure recently taken. Many Brazilians demand support from the Brazilian government in order to have a dialogue between the Tsar Akatian and the president of the country. According to a census carried out by independent media in Brazil, 35% of Brazilians at the borders want to access Akatia to receive medical treatment, since the medicine in Akatia is very well financed and the hospitals of the nation are much more suitable than the Brazilian hospitals.
Rumors indicate that the action was taken by Tsar Ekaterina Achaga. According to Akatia's background, it is not the first time that they prohibit the entry of foreigners to the southern nation. Throughout Akatian history, very severe acts of racial discrimination have been carried out and in the world the nation is known for having a bad eye on countries whose populations are mainly made up of black skinned people or people with high levels of poverty.
The Brazilian president is still expected to make a decision on what happened at the border. Will the Brazilian state intervene to help migrants access Akatia? What will the Brazilian president say at the next conference? The truth is that most foreigners do not have faith that this situation will change due to fidelity that Akatia has with his immigration measures.

Mexico-Kebabistan wrote:The conquering of Egypt is going well so far. The Turkish troops seized the Egyptian and Sinai North Coast and the Arabian troops seized the Egyptian East Coast and the Sinai South Coast. They also gained control of the Suez Canal, important in international trade.
The next phases of the mission is to occupy the Nile River Valley, where most of the Egyptian population lives. Airmen take off from Arabia in order to land in various spots in the Valley and secure it.
There are still some obstacles. It will be immensely difficult to conquer the deserts of Egypt and Sinai. Even if the coasts, the Nile, and the Suez are secured, resistance will be possible in the desert, allowing them to raid areas controlled by Iran.
Because it is hard and impractical to build in the desert, Iran can not secure most of the land borders with Libya and Sudan. Thus, if Iran were to try and take the desert (which in itself is impractical), the rebels will be able to retreat into the deserts of Libya and Sudan, though said countries would be rather cross about it.
In order to prevent Sinaian rebels from escaping into Israel/Palestine, the East border of Sinai is being secured. This would allow Iran to surround the Sinai.

Iran's oil/gas industry becomes the largest in the world (this can change later on). Though this brings in much money, the debate over fossil fuels is still raging on. In Turkey, renewable energy spreads and become increasingly profitable. Support for natural resources also spreads to parts of Northern Iran.
Many Turkish companies start operations in other parts of the world. A few Northern Iranian companies, not wanting to be left in the dust, follow suit. As this happens, Iran becomes increasingly important in the renewable energy sector.
In Arabia, there is more support for the oil/gas industry. Arabia became rich because of its oil deposits and many Arabians fear that if the oil industry goes, it could cause major economic problems in Arabia. Saudi Aramco (still one of the world's largest oil companies) starts constructing an oil lobby to promote the interests of the oil industry.

Due to his position as Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Shahanshah starts a program to make it easy for Muslim pilgrims to travel to Al-Hejaz and perform Hajj.
He is careful not to make himself the Caliph despite calls to do so, as this could cause unwanted controversy among the Muslims of Iran.

OOC: Please note that according to rule 5, you can't directly intervene in the annexation. You can get ships there and put pressure on the area (like a blockade or something), but you can't invade Egypt without my consent.
IC: After much fighting, the Sinai-Israel/Palestine border is secured by the Turkish and Arab fighters. The Arab fighters land at various points along the Nile and begin their occupation of it. Due to controlling the coasts and the Nile, they now control most of the Egyptian population. The soldiers make sure that people do not escape into the desert in order to organize resistance (though some South Egyptians manage to escape into Sudan).
They try to facilitate a smooth transition to Irani rule so Egyptians' daily lives will be relatively unchanged.
Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco finishes constructing its oil lobby, called the Iran Oil and Gas Alliance (IOGA). It is composed of Iran's 5 biggest oil companies and will lobby for increased rights for oil/gas companies. In retaliation, renewable energy supporters start building their own lobby.
The Shahanshah's Hajj program is officially in effect. He hopes this will allow Muslims from around the world to easily and safely complete their pilgrimage.
Iran then launches an attack on Israel/Palestine in order to solidify its Middle East presence. Some Turkish troops in Egypt (they have not recruited Egyptian soldiers yet) enter Gaza while Arab troops in Arabia start sailing to Eilat. Once this invasion is done, the Shahanshah will create a pilgrimage program for holy sites in Israel/Palestine (similar to the Hajj program).
They are not aware of the UK's plans for intervention in Egypt.

IC: The Intervention force arrives in Gibraltar, otherwise known as the Rock of the Mediterranean, and prepare for a invasion if necessary. The First Carrier Strike Force is still on the way, but is already through the Strait of Gibraltar and its Strike planes are in range of Egypt and are ready to provide air support.
The Prime Minister sends a ultimatum to leave Egypt and Israel (recently notified by the British Intelligence Agency) or face the consequences.

Surprised by this Pearson turn to face the Iranian President. This is the first time he has met him. For the first few seconds he is at a loss of words but then specks out, "President Ahmed, I'm glad you arrived in Kashtryia safely. It is a real pleasure to meet you eh?" Thinking to himself Pearson just said "eh" how Canadian of him... "Your flight clearly wasn't as long as mine was. I'm sorry, if I seem a little fatigued."
"Sorry" another Canadian-ism he thinks to himself again.
Continuing to speak Pearson also says "I believe we're still waiting on an update on when our summit is. Canadian officials haven't got much information about it when we arrived."

OOC: There can be some skirmishes on the Egyptian North coast, the Israeli West Coast, and Gaza, though I'd prefer it be limited to that.
IC: The Iranis are able to sabotage Israeli nuclear sites in order to prevent the Samson Option from being executed. Gaza and the Israeli West Coast falls under full Iranian control and the troops start travelling inland to take over the West Bank. They are careful to make sure that no infrastructure is destroyed, though realistically, there is some damage given the fact a war is occurring.
