Effectively, yes. Also, hello fellow person who's watched Yes Minister (I presume you've watched the sequel too?).

Yes, I'm a fan of Yes Prime Minister too.

And sure that's fine. All I expect really is that posters will write good, realistic posts and not godmod.

That series was amazing. I heard that even Margie Thatcher liked it.

Maggie. "Margie" :lol2:

Anyway, this is getting a bit off-topic, so to bring it back to the thread: Once Edom has had the chance to fully catch up, my next post will likely be reacting to his responses and then to those of you who have picked up on my runners passing along notes and so forth. For the phone conversations, to make it easier I might just give out the main points of the conversation and incorporate your guys responses either as dialogue or description. If you want our characters to directly interact though, I'm up for talking about it.

I'm also coming up with the next potential news post, probably to come from a more left-leaning publication. I'm thinking it'll be after the current day is done, and with any luck there will be some idea as to the scale of the casualties and the damage (if not, I'll talk to Edom about potential unconfirmed sources). As before, if anyone wants me to pick up on anything in particular, let me know!

My plan involves posting about Nifonese military movements, and to officially begin information warfare - Kojiro will start his attempts at manipulating the public opinion's perception of the event by underlining, and increasing, role of Homofront in the event.

I will write here in the OOC thread the entire explanation how the information warfare from Nifon's side will be carried out. However, I am going to be slightly delayed on this topic.

That sounds awesome - I'll make sure my more left-leaning publications hate it, while the more right-leaning might be a tad sympathetic. :P

I think from my side of things, I have created a LGBT lynching in a Cossack village, and immediately after this there is a planned attack in Montz, Cossack Khanate. React how you will everyone.

Since this was Edom's stance towards Fatiman, I suggest the same goes for his "friends" until Edom has spoken with them as OP and clears things up.

Well it's a niece set of dedcriptions about your chancellor and alludes to a generally nice personal relationship. What comes across is a relatively modest realistic home situation for a modern Europe style elected official. Of course as of yet we know little of her politics or what she's facing in parliament, or what she is thinking in terms of intervention.

Thank you. I have already started writing the post about her time in the Parliament, and what the outcome is intervention wise. I hope to include more about the Embassy Ambassador and more about the Chancellor, her ideology and much more. I expect it to be completed sometime tomorrow, probably 22:30 GMT.

I get the odd feeling that Fatiman’s friends are just puppets, from the way they write/punctuate.

Yes, they are puppets. It's not hard to figure out their connection. Regardless, since one of them has dispatched a fleet, so shall Imperion. Expect posts regarding that soon. As for the other portions of Imperion I personally am covering, I will begin making the post soon.

Working on a post now. Been sending the fleet to show the flag for an Ally.

I honestly feel like engaging Fatiman in any kind of war writing would be frustrating and ultimately pointless. I call 'not it' if they just post their forces arriving.

I believe the general policy is ignorecannon them.

EDIT: Also, on a completely unrelated note, reading your latest post it seems our two embassies have very similar objectives, since the Kylarnatian 'runners' who took out notes to the other embassies holding asylum seekers was with the intent of starting dialogue on the same issue. If you're up for it, do you mind editing me in? Perhaps our Ambassador's can talk and discover they have similar ideas.

I must have missed that, let me revisit your post. I'll go ahead and write a new post for you in that case which will be in the same vein.

Edit: I'm also interested in your nation's religious culture. I don't suppose that it is feminine monotheism?

Hahaha, I was wondering how long it'd take for you to notice we both worship a Mother. ^^ As far as I can tell from what I've read in your factbook, the similarities stop there (since yours is a Goddess, the Grand Mother is an entity higher than divinity in the Kylarnatian theology) besides the matriarchal overtones. Still, it'd be something worth exploring in our interactions for sure. :)

The Silvier Sacerdotium is much more spiritualist - it rejects the power of gods (believing them unstable with their power) and believes in the power of universal and natural forces and ancestor spirits embodied in the Seraphim, the greatest of which is the Grand Mother.

Ru will be very pleased to see Shrailleni taking the intiative like this. They consider your nation critical to thier objectives in New Edom. I'll get a post up tonight, will be short because i don't want to show too much of Barretome until the student protestor arc advances.

I also think our two religions look a bit similar, as long as you set aside that Ruvians depict thier divine figure as male. Ruvians at least see similarities.

This sounds likes a somewhat theological debate, the Mother Goddess is not conceived of as having any partners or subordinates but rather is a single, universal, feminine entity who both made and is made of all creation. I see the difference in which the Grand Mother could be conceived as only one of several universal forces, whereas the Mother Goddess or Leena'i is seen as THE universal force, but overall there may be room for comparison. As a heterodox faith, Leenism is always interested in exploring these matters.

Glad to hear. And unfortunately I don't think that can be set aside lol

The only reason we're not sending a combined fleet as promised is because of New Edom's policy regarding this person. This policy states that Fatiman and his puppets are to be ignored until they actually learn to communicate. So for now, we are totally ignoring them until they decide to reply properly. I honestly believe that no matter what we post, fatiman will not read/respond to it and just continue posting whatever they please. But if they could prove us wrong, I'd be happy to see it.
