@Montenbourg: flying your characters, especially lots of VIPs out of my country, ESPECIALLY during a state of tensions, is godmodfing. You have to treat other peoples nations as though thry are sovereign. You post an intended action, o get to react. As i also have mentioned more than once, only 2 days have gone by.

I don't think your religious beliefs OOC have any practical meaning IC unless you want them to, nor do I personally believe anyone has to accommodate you because you now find yourself being Buddhist. Im sure plenty of people here are Christian - I was at least raised Christian - but I don't think Ardoki has to be considerate in their actions by suddenly changing how his entire nation operates - lunatic as it may be. This is all IC feuds between nations, characters, and groups that don't exist. As far as I know no is trying to troll anyone here, regardless of what you see nations do IC; but of course if you believe otherwise I encourage you to report it to the proper authorities in the Moderation sub-forum or submit an anonymous ticket at Getting Help. Frankly speaking from my own personal views, I don't care what your religious beliefs are nor do I think it should stop anyone from doing anything; as limited as speech is here on the forum, RP is about creative writing and world building. We're here to roleplay nations, not spark up a religious discussion. To be perfectly honest again Lanorth, you've been flip-flopy like crazy this entire thread and now you're coming here to announce you suddenly converted to Buddhism. Why you can't just fixate on one national identity or just the thread itself I don't understand, but people are here to help if you need help deciding on anything - I know my TG box is always open if you're looking for input. But it's as if your message was a warning to not say or do anything against Buddhists or you'll be offended, which in this day in age is paramount to world ending disasters. Warning us not to offend people is something I personally wont tolerate nor will others here I assume. If you want to censor people's RP here for any reason, regardless if you suddenly find yourself offended by something, either put that passion into RPing a clever counter-point, or simply leave if the thread offends you that much - no one is held captive to post here by any means. Sorry if im coming off as hostile or off-putting, especially since it's not my thread, but I don't take kindly to people displaying warnings of censorship in other people's threads, regardless of how passive their threat may be.

Normally, I can recognize blatent and obvious sarcasm or satire, but Ardoki's post was eloquent enough, and not eerily specific enough, to convince me he lied right then and there. Now, if he said "no Christians were rounded up yesterday for the purpose of making this event", or something comically obvious, that'd make sense. Concerning the event, TurtleShroom's IC view is the same as my OOC view. "Trust, but verify." }

Yay! Same here New Edom, I love reading the in-character thread; it doesn't feel forced (orchestrated), and it seems everyone's having fun trying to showcase their piece of writing. Thank u New Edom, Shraileeni, Greater Carloso, New Aeyariss, Ardoki, etc. crew for this thread!

That said, I'm still a bit lost concerning Goldwing Finance. Brytene, I don't want to write anything that will out-of-character wise make you upset with me, so (if it's okay) I'll need to know a quick summary of what's happening with Goldwing in New Edom?

No, Goldwing IS basically controlled by the conservative Canillac family so would have nothing to do with Homofront even if it were up to secret shenanigans, but it isn't.

That said, it's possible Lalery could try to falsify something. Goldwing evacuated because Brytons have a long memory, and last time Bryts were caught isolated in a SACTO nation during political upheaval, it ended up with about a dozen Bryts and a score of SACTO bods dead

Like there was never any video of people going in the Brazen Donkeys, and the Christian Candles were never shown up close plus were kind of covered (wrapped in cloth with flammable gel on it, plus black bags over their face so as they wouldn't bother all the priests and stuff).

So, our narcissistic and psychopathic pop star dictator is trying to claim it was all just special effects for a music video.

Ardoki officially doesn't have the death penalty, so our government is trying to claim that we would never do such a thing as it would be illegal and hypocritical. But Moriarty has a long history of human rights violations, so I'm sure a lot of countries wouldn't put such a thing past him.

Goldwing, without notifying anyone, basically pulled its bank branches out of New Edom without letting anyone know. In other words, they summarily ended contracts, with real estate owners, with investors and clientele pretty much without the slightest notification or warning. There was also no attempt at diplomacy or using sny local influence.

This would be bad enough, but what is worse is foing it under these circumstances. And they act like there is no cause for the aedomites to be suspicious or angry. I know OOC that it was just panic and stupidity on their part, but the Edomites are going act on what is a growing suspicion of the bank being used as a laundering scheme. The Edomites want to ruin zGokdwings reputation and will want to economically punish Brytene as well.

I am going to point out that for vast majority of the audiences, it won't matter anyway.

Ardoki's past actions IC wise, including the infamous Lebanon airlines incident, Jezzine massacre, Aanglandian slaughters, etc. etc. - all of that is going to make the recent incident look believable, regardless of weather it was fake or not.
