Official Communique of the Ministry of Defense
To: Walter Fox, The Honorable Secretary for State Security, Vionna-Frankenlisch
From: Jarl Ghatak, Minister of Security
Sir,
It is a great honor and pleasure for me to be involved in strengthening our nations’ ties, although through this sad day. When an horrendous event such as this touches any nation, near or far, we must be ready to extend a hand of aid. As I write this, Cossack Covert Operations is preparing a unit that will arrive in Vionna-Frankenlisch soon, as soon as possible considering the large distance between our nations. Sergeant Jayesh Navin will be the commander of the 15 men arriving in your capital. I will convey orders to him as to approach your department upon arrival. I look forward to working with you in the future. Do respond at your leisure.
Signed,
Minister Jarl Ghatak, Ministry of Security, Cossack Khanate
Official Communique of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
To: Larry Tristram, Foreign Minister of Vionna-Frankenlisch
From: Ryan Vehr, Foreign Minister for the Cossack Khanate
Sir,
I am very happy to hear of your eagerness to increase the friendship between our nations. I have heard that my friend, Security Minister Ghatak, has prepared a team of Cossack investigators to investigate this cruel and wicked act. As for our diplomatic ties, I suggest we meet in person to talk various things over. Personally, I have been thinking of a bilateral treaty of some sort, concerning defense, diplomacy, and economics. I believe it would be a great addition to our already friendly relationship. I look forward to hearing from you again.
Signed,
Ryan Vehr, Minister of Foreign Affairs

A major and deadly incident has taken place in the overseas colony of Dzera today. A gathering of pro-LGBT insurgents was confronted by a valiant unit of RCGF troops, led by Sergeant Steven Omarov. The unit was sent to the border of Dzera when intelligence services picked up suspicious communications in the area. Upon arriving on the spot, Omarov followed protocol and gave the assembled crowd 30 seconds to disperse, or at least show signs of dispersion. To the unit’s shock, members of the crowd drew semi- automatic weapons and began to fire upon the soldiers, non-fatally wounding one troop. The crowd refused to disperse, and the soldiers were forced to open fire. In the following gunfight, 16 crowd members were killed, 31 were non-fatally wounded.
Investigators have said that this gathering was one to plan a terrorist attack on the capital of Dzera. Various guns were recovered, including modern Soviet guns like the SR-2 Veresk. Furthermore, the doors were locked, and it is probable that the resulting loss of life was orchestrated by an outside actor.
Imperator Khan has expressed his deepest regrets for the innocent gathered there, and had this statement, “This unfortunate event in Dzera was most likely purposefully set up by foreign Marxist insurgents and schemers. To stay safe in this global time of crisis, please stay away from such protests, gatherings, and other events of the sort. Government forces will continue to investigate this sad event. Thank you, and remain calm.”
