I'm not an administrator you have to wait until Hypron or Mexico-Kebistan approves you.

In regards to Alaska:
According to your lore the United States changed governments and became more like Canada. That would have happened during the 2020 American election.
So, when I mean previous American administration that would be the Trump administration.

According to my lore, Canada changed and had gone under reforms after the 2019 Federal election where the Conservatives won.

Seeing that your lore starts in 2020 and my lore starts in 2019 it would be safe to assume, somewhere in-between the 2019 Canadian federal election and the 2020 American federal election, Alaska was transferred to Canadian hands to become a province.

Well last time it was updated is was somewhere in mid to late 2031 I think.

After much consideration the Government of Canada had opened up a contest for one lucky Canadian to travel with the Prime Minister for the week long trip to Spain. This move was labeled as something "For the People!" Although it only benefits one person and the lottery ticket costs 10 dollars per person. Millions of people have entered the contest wanting to win. Each person who enters goes through and extensive security check for the safety of all parties involved.

Once the contest/lottery closed it was concluded that 10 million Canadians paid the 10 dollars to enter. 100,000,000 million dollars were generated in profits that went to the Government of Canada. Critics are saying this is the largest cash grab in Canadian history! And one of the largest cash grabs in world history as well!

A vocal minority are distraught at this news they couldn't believe the Canadian government had went to such a low. Most of the Canadian people were fine with this because they knew taxes were going to be lowered which did happen. The people of Canada still look forward to the day when Canada becomes the largest tax haven on Earth as promised by the Conservative Party and Prime Minister Stephen Pearson.
