While Kasumi cleaved her way through the putrid foe in the darkest reaches of the Central Sector, the Second Meijue was in full swing back on the home front. The Saintess Miyako Takenaka was busy leading her Assualt Force of three hundred and fifty million warships across the vast expanse of the Ellian Sector, cleansing the Ellian homeland of the Ex'No's foul taint. Under Her guidance, Miyako's Assualt Force had already liberated large swathes of space surrounding the Oasis of Divine Light, sweeping the enemy before them with fantastic speed.

In the depths of the Fifth Quadrant, relics of an ancient civilisation lie dormant in slumber. A hundred megaannums have passed since starlight graced these sleeping giants, waiting to be awakened. One of these worlds precessed around the distant star of Katomira, its voyages temporarily halted by the Beacon of Divine Light's gravitational field. Lead elements of Miyako 's Assualt Force, Yuki 's Convoy, under the supervision of the Sorceress Yuki Kobayashi were dispatched to purge the system of Ex'No influence and, if fortune permits, determine the nature of the anomaly.

Sleeping stars

In the vacuum of space there would be a huge metal sphere with holes distributed with some symmetry. This sphere wandered aimlessly, but this would change, the fate of this mega structure is to wake up to see the light again.

After the voice shut up, about 9 voices said: -Reactivation successful. A certain group of these voices broke the order and began to emit noises of fear and suffering, the other voices to witness this said: - Detected group of consciences corrupted, proceeding to eliminate corrupted part, saying that the voices of suffering and fear ceased. Successful elimination, cloning consciousness started, successful cloning, Drax mind 100% functional, proceeding to take control of the station.

The black void gradually transformed, ending in a quarter of metal walls with a table and a few rare chairs in the middle. Sitting in those chairs were black clouds that would take humanoid forms, and end in armor that would have a transparent semicircular helmet where inside you would see some kind of silt, but each of them would have different colors.

The red colored slime communicated loudly and gravely. - After megaannums of being at rest the AI has detected stars in the sector, it means that we have finally left the dark zone, but the Ex'No is surrounding us, they still have not seen us as a threat, I recommend that we attack them by surprise and witness the light again.

The green slime responded by the others - we agree but what part of the arsenal will we use?

In a tone with conviction the communal red slime-Let's use the "RLDFC3".

In the distance it was observed as a large open door to expose a huge red glass pointing to the nearest Ex'No, this glass would be projected from behind until the glass would begin to detach small part of itself at speed sub light leaving a red trail that struck with the unsuspecting masses of Ex'No erasing hundreds in a few minutes, the wake of destruction continued for 20 minutes until it stopped because the crystal was completely consumed but at the minute a new crystal was placed and the continuous shooting When arriving at a certain distance from the planet, canyons of all kinds emerged to the outside and began to cover the sky with red lights. Before the massive loss of individuals the Ex'No decided the unusual tactics of withdrawal. Fleeing from the guns since the "RLDFC3" stopped firing a few minutes ago to spend all their crystals.

Heresy

The inexcusable perversion of Her Truth.

A deliberate hypocrisy perpetuating a cycle of deception, violence and hatred. It is the weakness of those shallow minds that reject the Teachings of Divine Light. In the end, it is this weakness that seals their inescapable Fate. The Lady does not tolerate infirmity in Her holy domain. Those that cannot follow Her divine guidance will perish, and Beauty will grow from their putrid remains.

Those that cannot accept Her Truth must not be allowed to tarnish the sacred soil of the righteous hearth. Their seeds of doubt must be drowned before they can take hold. Their weeds of suspicion uprooted before they can germinate. Their harvest torched before they could be reaped. Their heretical tongues put to the blade before they could chant curse and chaos. Their foul essence cleansed with the unforgiving wrath of holy fire before they could weave melancholy and madness upon the Children of Divine Light.

They all must be purged. Every last one of them.
The Order of Divine Light will see to that.

By Her divine Will.

Sorceress Yuki Kobayashi

The Warp was kinder than its shadowy cousin. Gone are the horrors and demons of the twilight kingdom. Gone are those corrupted, putrid beings that prey on all that is sacred the pure. There are no monsters here. But there are no stars either. The Children of Divine Light dare not enter this world, for this was the dominion of time and entropy. To the untrained eye, the Warp and the Shadow appeared as one and the same; a hazy realm of eternal darkness within which no relic of divinity was permitted to subsist. But to the Chosen of Divine Light and their gifted knights - the custodians of the Order - the Warp was a blessing, not a curse.

The shadowy void of the Warp knew not the gift of light, but that was not its purpose. To know was not its intent. To behold was not its destiny. Rather, the Warp was an insight into the primaeval past prior to the sacred birthing of the first stars. A solemn reminder of a time when Her brilliance had yet to shine and the universe was still in its infancy. The Warp was a glimpse at a distant and uncertain future whose course was still to be determined. A prophetic warning of the cruel consequences of failure should the Order of Divine Light lose sight of Her supreme guidance and descend into unspeakable heresy. The Warp was a cold, empty and lifeless realm. But it was not the enemy.

Yuki, an auburn-haired Ellian in her late twenties, sat cross-legged on a cushioned dais, her hands resting gently in her lap. Her plasma sword lay sheathed on the soft material before her, the patterns engraved in its polished scabbard and plasteel hilt glowing softly in the darkness. She opened her eyes slowly, exhaling, but remained seated while her turquoise eyes adjusted to the faint golden light.

"Sister Setsuko," she called eventually, her voice remarkably loud in the lonely room.

The door opened to admit her attendant, a tall, muscular and green-haired young knight in her early twenties. "Yes?" The younger girl asked, watching her supervisor tentatively with ice blue eyes.

"How long before we arrive?" The Sorceress charged.

"We're almost there, Sister Yuki," The knight replied, "We should arrive in another half-hour or so." Yuki closed her eyes again. "Are you going to keep meditating, Sister Yuki?"

"No. I think it is time that I headed to the prayer hall," the Sorceress told her. Setsuko nodded and opened the door for her superior. Yuki inclined her head in appreciation and the two paced down the glass corridor side by side. They eventually reached a set of heavy marble doors engraved with images of men, stars and the Goddess of Light herself. The perfectly carved figures detailed an epic saga known by all Grandchildren of Divine Light; the origins of life itself. The knights standing on either side of the door bowed and the doors parted as the Sorceress approached.

The prayer hall was a circular room built in the centre of the Temple of Divine Light. Dominating the far wall, the great statue of the Goddess - fashioned from a single block of marble - stood resolute against all forces that seek to tarnish Her supreme beauty. And even though this rendition of the Goddess of Light was only a quarter of the size of the one found on the Temple-World of Simiao, the great colossus still towered above the Sorceress as a mountain would. And, just as the stature of this interpretation of Her sublime form was different from that of the Temple-World, so too differed the pose.

Poised with the tip of her divine shield, the Shield of Daybreak (portrayed here as an enormous kite shield), planted in the earth, She brandishes the Dawnbreaker against the forces of evil whilst roaring an eternal challenge at the shadowy agents of the twilight kingdom. To her left and right, the Firstborn of Divine Light, the Keeper and the Seeker, respectively, mirrored her movements. Behind and beside them, along the entire length of the circular wall, the Children of Divine Light bear their various arms against the onslaught of darkness.

An elderly Ellian knelt at Her feet. Ranks of officers and knights formed rows behind him, their heads lowered in prayer. There was a great variety in the gathering, Yuki noticed; fresh recruits and grizzled veterans from across the ship's countless departments had all made their way here to seek the protection of divine light. She approached them slowly, her soft footfalls clicking lightly as her soles made contact with the glass floor. "Grand Admiral Inoue," she greeted. The soldiers rose parted to either side to allow her passage.

"Sister Yuki," the older man hailed in turn, "Your arrival is a blessing. Thank you for coming."

The Sorceress bowed deeply toward the grand statute before turning to him. "I will pass your prayers on for you," she told those assembled, "Please resume your stations. We will be joining battle shortly and we must complete the necessary preparations." The knights inclined their heads respectfully and shuffled out.

Once the men had left, she knelt down on the cushioned floor before the statue, allowing the silence of the marble halls to calm her mind before she started praying herself. Setsuko took her place beside her, planting the tip of the scabbard of her sword on the floor, placing her hands on the pommel and resting her forehead on the back of her hands. They stayed like this for a while, mouthing soft, wordless prayers that entreated guidance, fortune and victory among all manner of things.

Eventually, a new calm washed over the sorceress and she rose to full height, sensing that it was time to leave. Her assistant, sensing the motion beside her, followed suit and the girls made one last bow before departing. "Shall we head to the war room now, Sister Yuki?" the young knight asked. The sorceress nodded and they made their way around the circular corridor.

The war room was situated fore'ard of the prayer hall, with its only entrance located aftward of the room. The heavy glass doors closed behind them, merging into the rest of the wall-screen near seamlessly. An older knight stood cross-armed before the round table in the centre of the room, surveying the great displays. “Sister Yuki,” he greeted, turning to the sorceress as she entered, “Your timing is impeccable. We have just arrived in Katomira. Preliminary reports indicate a moderate Ex'No presence, as we anticipated.”

“What are the dispositions of our foe?” The sorceress asked, taking her place by the centre table. A map of the system with various markers was displayed on the tabletop, but the data was hours old and its reliability was somewhat questionable.

“Scout ships have been dispatched, but they have not returned yet,” the veteran knight informed, “I'll notify you of their arrival.”

“Much obliged, Brother Akira.”

“There seems to be approximately two million or so Ex'No forms in this system divided into two equal swarms,” he continued to observe, “One swarm is in orbit around the star. The other swarm is orbiting this planet.”

“We outnumber each of their swarms ten-to-one. It should be a straight forward fight,” Setsuko surmised.

“Yes, but there are only a few hundred million kilometres separating them,” the veteran knight noted, “If they merge their swarms together, we'll be in big trouble.”

“We will have to attack as soon as possible then,” Yuki decided, “Reform the fleet. I want a dagger formation as long and narrow as you can get it.” Setsuko bowed slightly and left the room to pass the order down the line.

“You plan to break through their centre?” Akira asked.

“I plan to break more than just their centre,” Yuki claimed, “When we meet them, we will slowly spread out in a cone and take out their rear. After that, we'll need to turn around and regroup.”

“It's going to be risky spreading out like that,” the knight told her, “At that range, it'll be hard to evade if they attempt to ram us. Casualties may be high and we'll be too weak to win the second bout after we turn around.” He paused for a few moments in thought. “Sister Yuki. Are you concerned that we don't have enough ships to form a battle line?”

She nodded. “The Ex'No will simply go around us,” the sorceress explained, “We can't afford to lose the advantage when we're fighting on even terms.” Akira nodded in understanding. If the fleet was outflanked, the Ex'No will take a heavy toll on the Ellian formation and they will be forced to disengage with even greater losses. The Ex'No can outrun any Order warship and returning to the Warp would require the Ellians to lower their heavy shields whilst under fire.

“Are there any alternative plans?” Akira asked tentatively.

“Actually, there is one,” Yuki began, “We can turn through the middle of the attack down one side of their flanks and use the crossfire created by the arc to destroy part of the Ex'No formation.”

“We'll also be turning around their guns," the veteran knight noted, "They'll have the same crossfire arc on our salient.” Yuki nodded sagely; she had already considered such. “How do the projected casualties look for either plan?”

The sorceress considered this for some time. “Either way they would prove to be high, but I cannot give you an accurate estimate until our scouts return.”

“They should be back very soon,” the veteran knight assured. As if on cue, Setsuko returned, bearing news.

“Sister Yuki,” the knight began, “Something very strange has happened.” She quickly zoomed in on the map to explain. “Our scouts observed several high energy beams being emitted from this planet. The beams appeared to have destroyed huge portions of the Ex'No forces garrisoned there.” She looked to the sorceress. “Ex'No movements are extremely confused, but they appear to be moving to attack the planet.”

“An act of divine providence!” Yuki declared, “Spread the word to the fleet! The Goddess of Light blesses our assault! We shall attack at once!”

She allowed a few minutes for the news to spread through the fleet. Morale peaked and the knights of the Order were eager to get underway. Victory, they felt, had just been assured. The fleet rapidly reformed itself into a long, thin wedge tapered to a single point and within moments a tactical warp brought them on top of the remaining Ex'No around the star.

The Ellians ploughed into the chaotic Ex'No swarm, obliterating all that stood before them with dense bursts of holy fire. The huge broadside batteries joined the carnage as the long wedge penetrated deeper and deeper into their putrid foe, sending volleys of golden plasma into the flanks of surrounding Ex'No void forms.

The Shadow spawn fought back with equal ferocity, sending needle-like spines hurtling through the void at the Ellian craft. A cruiser toward the tip of the formation took nine spines from all directions before bursting into flames, her torpedo stores compromised. Her burning husk drifted out of the line and in front of allied craft, where she was mercilessly torn apart by friendly line. The Commodore leading her squadron made a very simple note concerning her untimely demise: 18:07. The Ronge Yao De Guangemange went down with all hands.

There was no longer a need for fancy manoeuvres. The Ex'No swarm, arrayed for transit, was caught by surprise and were unable to effectively retaliate. Within a couple of hours, all organised resistance had ceased to exist and the Ex'No were forced to withdraw in order to regroup. Skirmishers detached themselves from the main force to pursue and harass them, but the battle had, for all intents and purposes, concluded - in the favour of the sorceress no less.

“Sister Yuki,” Akira called, “The Ex'No have ceded the field and are disengaging. Our preliminary reports indicate that we've cut down half the number present in this battleground. Records also show that we've only suffered light casualties. Most of our vessels have only sustained light damage and the majority of the fleet can resume combat duties in at least a day's time.”

“We haven't got all day," Yuki replied, "Gather up all able ships into a temporary armada. We're going to hit the Ex'No before they can merge with the survivors.”

"Sister Yuki, I cannot advise such a course. We'll be heavily outgunned, even if the Ex'No are on their hind legs. We too must pause to regroup before continuing."

The Sorceress gritted her teeth and let out a pent up sigh through her nose. She knew he was right, but... "Alright, fine. Weigh anchor here. I want repair efforts to focus on getting the least damaged ships back in action as soon as possible. All other ships will have to allocate their resources to damage control for now. Tell me when we have gathered up at least five armadas." The men came first. The strange planet will have to wait for a little longer.

A change of tables

The bright light of the young star with its blue light bathed the rocky surface of the false planet, the irregular surface showed different landscapes in the depths of the cracks that lie on the surface, radiation and heat levels were expelled that would annihilate any living being that do not have adequate protection, the desolate planet manifested its existence to all who could observe it.
Red lights illuminated the interior istalaciones of the planet, the use of such a powerful superheated weapon the 4 fusion reactors the high temperatures reached compromised the ultimate life of the reactors, the ventilation of the reactors were opened to expel heat from the interior. Complete sectors of the station required calibration for this hundreds of engineers were awakened to put the station in optimal conditions for supervisors to evaluate the structure of the planet, the great halls were filled with the sound of footsteps the silence was dethroned the planet and the " life "I refuse them.

The operators were very busy, a fight after just turning on had not done the circuits well nor themselves. The strategists silently contemplated the operating table, the Ellian ships and the Ex'No fought, the Ellian were a known race, but the information about them was lost millennia ago, only memory threads remained in those slime heads and their Predictions about them were vague.
When the battle finally ended, leaving the winners of Ellian, the station remained silent, but the reactors continued to expel lethal radiation into space, the high command observed the situation but I can't do much, the worst had happened.

Hundreds of Drax began to act violently and killed each other, it was believed that the revival of their functions would be normal and there would be no mistake but these expectations were betrayed, some consciences asleep for thousands of years could not face a rapid revival and they ended up degrading in a matter of hours ending in a violent state of madness that had to be annihilated. While the chaos spread through certain areas of the station, the remaining EX'No regrouped again to launch another attack on the planet, even Ex'No from other places approached after the large discharges of energy previously released, before the inevitable outside attack the station only deigned to seal itself completely and resist the onslaught of the enemy, relying on its defenses outside Drax military units joined the massacre that was fought inside the huge planet, skirmishes were freed and armories were emptied even vehicles and other high caliber weapons were used to stop them. Finally, the collective mind prepared a message for their peers who slept in the void of space in an attempt to ask for help.
