The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Free Kingdom wishes to correct the record regarding several factually erroneous statements made by some politicians in Yohannes recently regarding our policy on civil rights, immigration, and several other items.
1. It's true that the Free Kingdom of Allanea makes it its foreign policy to promote civil liberties and free markets around the world. This is our foreign policy, and we intend to stick to it. The Free Kingdom of Allanea, aside from its role as the leader-state of the Greater Prussian Empire, is also one of the principal signatories of the Amistad Declaration on Slavery and the Rights of Man, as well as the Reichsburg Free Trade Agreement.

2. What is not true is any claims that the Free Kingdom of Allanea attempted to 'force' Widefolkland and its so-called President, Joseph Monroe, to alter its immigration policy. In fact, we have specifically issued a statement respecting its sovereign right to close its borders to international immigration.

3. On the other hand, we absolutely condemn the policy of Widefolkland to sell those unfortunates who have made the error of visiting that terrible, uncivilized, benighted hell-hole of a country, into slavery. We do not, and will never, respect any so-called 'sovereign right' of anyone to buy and sell other human beings like cattle. While, at the present, the Free Kingdom is not planning military operations against Widefolkland, we would like to repeat that Widefolkland has been entered onto our list of Known Slaver Entities, which mandates a range of restrictions on trade and relations with Widefolkland and its authorities.

My intention was not to throw nukes around at people (or have people throw nukes on day one at the opening poster's fictional nation). That said, people are free to use nukes (freeform RP), and I don't mind mixing technology -- but, um yup for my shared storytelling I won't acknowledge the existence of nukes (I'll pretend in-character wise that they don't exist)

OOC:I apologize if the sudden entry of Valkiir was a bit poorly timed or But that would have been their initial entry. Until that point it was "Not my circus, not my monkeys" people start tossing around nukes...Yep now you got our attention and those assets we covertly deployed to keep an eye on a potential conflict swing into action. Bu if nukes go away Valkiir goes back to quietly observing by satellite and covert action vessels.
