PETRUS CHEMICAL PLANT IS ON FIRE


A cellphone video of the Petrus Chemicals plant inferno.

Beginning at 6:38 PM local time on Monday, Umbrellya's second-largest chemical valley, located East of Szomatt, became engulfed in flames. Surveillance video surfaced online several hours later capturing the origin of the inferno: the Petrus Chemicals industrial plant (a subsidiary company of Aviary). According to company officials, the cause of the fire is believed to be the product of some sort of reaction between an undisclosed chemical and butane. Damages are expected to be in the millions, however, only 20 minor injuries were reported as of 8:40 PM local time.

Far-right gaining popularity, poll


Benjamic Kwoyer, party leader of the Justice and Order Party

A poll published by Polistats yesterday indicated a significant rise in popularity for Benjamic Kwoyer's Justice and Order Party. 5 years since the last poll, 23% of Umbrellas reportedly would cast their vote for the Justice and Order Party if the election was held tomorrow; up from 8% in 2014. Kwoyer's party is under scrutiny currently for several of its platform issues. Outlawing abortion, reducing Union powers, VU-skepticism, and racially-limiting immigration quotas are but a handful of the party's many controversial promises.

Rosa Castelliano becomes richest Desarenan

Last Thursday, model, actress, and buissnesswomen Rosa Castelliano became the richest Desarenan overtaking Desert Sands Air CEO Ricardo Ortiz. Her network is now worth around 1.68 million Solays or about 560 million Libfrays.
