The Factory

The year is 2250, Rapture and Zeon have decided to host a battle tournament inviting all the greatest warriors across the multiverse to do battle and earn their place in the multiverse’s legacy of the most incredible gladiators to ever live, crowned as the Spartan King, King of Gladiators with a grand prize at the end of the tournament. The tournament will be held at the inferno realm of Dundee, a volcanic hellscape dimension created by the Dr. Kinji‘s Tesla Cells, devices capable of manipulating or creating dimensions to used for colonization or destroy any warp-based creatures, threatening the expansion of the Pheonix Alliance established by Rapture and Zeon.

Now the question is, who will risk their necks in participating in this grand tournament that will be televised via drones around the multiverse to proclaim themselves the Spartan King?

1. Your Challenger cannot be too OP. The main idea of this is a fair and enjoyable experience, not your all-encompassing God Of Death coming down and obliterating all of the other Challengers.
2. If you apply, stick to it! Don't chicken out or leave us on read-this'll be fun!
3. Don't be a sore loser. When and if your Character dies, don't get upset. You have an extremely low chance at winning this. Your Challenger is going to die sooner or later.
4. No Camping. If you just chill on some secluded rooftop and have a snack, you're not going to win. Even if you're the last Alive, you didn't fight for it.
5. Magic, non-OP Superpowers, and advanced Tech is absolutely allowed. However, you need to keep in mind we could have contestants from the Roman Times. Be fair.
6. No Scanning or Tracking. You must go dark for this challenge. And, knowing where everyone is ruins the fun.
7. Be Original! Boring Characters make for boring game play. Get wild with you Challenger!
8. The most important of all, have fun!

This'd be my first, hope it's good.

CHARACTER FILE


Name: Freeman Adol
Age: 12
Gender: Male
Adol is a tall man, with black curly hair and some nice albeit small mutton chops. He is also a bit darker in complexion, but has light blue eyes. He also has the body of a muscular 36 year old


Powers: Adol has the ability to force an extreme adrenaline boost which is essentially the same as real adrenaline (physical strength and speed as well as pain relief and sharper mental focus) but on superhuman level.
He also has a passive ability that heals his body (he is still just a man afterall, such high rates of stress on his body could potentially be very negative even with regular bouts of adrenaline rush in so many hardcore fights).

Drawbacks & Limitations: Lasts for a finite time. The healing doesn't affect wounds from others nearly as much as from his ability.

Weaknesses: Adrenaline Sickness, after using it he will be sick - and if he uses too much then he may Die from the amount of stress he puts on his body he may just die.

Bio: Freeman Adol was cloned from a Professional Fighter that gave his body up to be cloned for research purposes. The scientist assigned to him was interested in bio-enhancement, which led to various experiments for his first 2 years of life which was torturous. Eventually one of his experiments had shown results in the form of adrenaline enhancement. He then spent the next two years of his life learning how to fight like a street fighter, which made him into a lethal weapon. The scientist had been using regular people for figthing against Adol and the Government soon caught on and raided his lab - being faced with Adol himself who killed all of the agents that had raided the place (amounting to 15) but he was taken down by the Special Division in Thysu, and with the imprisonment of the scientist he was released and was legally named "Freeman Adol". Since the age of 5 he was working as a model for a martial arts magazine since he legally cannot fight in the ring ('cause he'd kill them).

Number of teammates: 1 Black Guard, 3 Spire Guard, 2 Heavy Fusiliers

Powers: Both Black and Spire Guard are trained in melee combat since infancy, with Spire Guard also receiving advanced firearms training. Black Guard have increased regeneratative capabilities and can tank enemy attacks without dying. The Heavy Fusiliers can communicate psionically across large distances.

Drawbacks & Limitations: The team is slow and are unable to camouflage. The Heavy Fusiliers also have no special abilities beyond their armour's protection. Black Guard armour can keep them alive for decades after sustaining serious injuries, but the Black Guard will be entirely incapacitated after receiving such injuries. Psionics are taxing on untrained minds, tiring out users quickly.

Name: Iohannes of Suesani, Grandmaster of the II Legion, The Iron Legion
Age: Pretty Old, and since he's basically a primarch, age is a nonfactor.
Gender: Male
Image


Powers: Superhuman durability (he doesn't wear a helmet in a setting that has a lot of bullets flying around), speed, strength, and a monster at close quarters combat. Practically infinite ammo on his guided missile launcher.

Drawbacks & Limitations: He is just one man, gang up on him and he is good as dead, also has no ranged weapon other than a guided missile launcher on his back (and one missile at a time too(1 hour for replicators to finish making another))

Weaknesses: Cannot do ranged combat, and average at dealing with it, so bring out your snipers!

Equipment and weapons: 1 huge powersword, 1 angyl mace, 1 guided missile launcher, and armor.

Personality: Easily angered, loves fighting, loyal, and brash.

Bio: The first Grandmaster to be found in the Imperator's Reclamation, he took up the surname of his genesire and became the co-ruler of the Imperium with his father. Now sent on this quest to win the prize for his father, who thinks it may be a great advantage for the wars to come.

Can charge items with energy, and that energy can harm an enemy if the enemy is hit with that object,
Can blast energy from hands (see limitations below),

Skilled with most conventional guns and melee weapons

Drawbacks & Limitations:
Although his energy charging reserve is large, his hand blast isn’t very strong
Running ability is within human bounds, transformation does not affect speed

Bio: Kirve was born to a middle-to-low class family in Canon Enclave, colony of the Cossack Khanate, in 2063. He was grown up in a warrior academy form a young age, but he always lagged behind compared to the top 10 students of the academy. Upon graduating at age 16, Kirve and 20 other top students were sent on an emergency mission back to NS WW3 to secure the survival of several high-class military leaders and politicians. For causes still unknown today, the entire task force was horribly wiped out except for Kirve, who refuses to talk about the incident. After 4 years of secret training, he was accepted as Cossack Khanate’s representative to these Games.

Fears/Phobias: Like many cossacks, Kirve is a conservative. However, he takes it a step further by being both homophobic and transphobic.

Powers: Hallucination: the ability to vanish or just create a false form.
(To make this less OP than it sounds there's a 12 post limit cooldown by that I mean my posts not others)

Last stand: pretty much Deaths reason for being an actual skeleton.
Drawbacks & Limitations:Their equipment is possible to break.

It only takes one clip to deal with the dark hand, laser based rounds will pass right through.

And the hallucination cloak wears off if close.
Weaknesses: Normal human weaknesses
Equipment and weapons:
Both are carrying a tool as most Lowbloodians call a darkhand, practically a force shield the size of a buckler.
It is also used as a life drain if contacted to someone's skin.

Oni: A Metal set of special Lightweight armor, and Twin greatswords AKA Jaws of death

Low: He's wearing a mid weighted set of armor reminiscent of what his old knights used.
And his weapon is a scythe, the one Death used to be exact. (And no it doesn't one hit.)

Personalities:Oni:Close up and chaotic when fighting but calm and collected over all.

Low:Cold and bitter

Bios: Both have served as King of Corpses. Proving to be deadly in battle.
They are simply here to have fun.

Low is actually using a body that is not of his own rather working as a host over a puppet of a willing servant.

Extras


Fears/Phobias:Nothing really important. Anxiety if any.
Skills: Oni is stealthy and often times uses his knowledge as a former assassin in battle but is visibly changed when it comes to his fighting style.

Low: is a bit of a well balanced allrounder. He attacks in a flow that is similar to the way one dances.


Theme:Any darksouls boss theme, just any.

- Superhuman speed: Astre is not quite fast enough to dodge bullets, but is capable of reacting and moving faster than the trigger pull.
- Superhuman strength: Astre's strength allows him to apply enough force through his rapier to slash through even metal.
- Limit breaking: Astre can take down the limiters of muscle power naturally placed on his body by his brain. This, of course, can result in great self-injury and thus is a last resort.
- Olympic level skill: Astre is a fantastic swordfighter.

Drawbacks & Limitations:
- Low weapon diversity: Astre lacks ranged weaponry and relies on his ridiculous speed and strength to make up for it
- Overconfidence: Astre tends to assume most of his opponents are weaker than him

Weaknesses:
- Low durability: Astre's durability is not particularly high, only just enough that his body can withstand his superhuman power without damaging itself. This means that, at the least, a low-caliber gun is not particularly effective.

Equipment and weapons:
- Luminary Rapier: A seemingly unbreakable, ornate rapier. For practical reasons, it is not very reflective, and carries a chargeable stun-baton feature with a 3-minute recharge.

  • Fox Fire: starting from four tails, Siyeon can create and control a special type of flames that aren't extinguished through normal means (psst use salt). Gets stronger as she gains more tails.
  • Fireball clones: With Fox Fire, she can create duplicates of herself with a mucb shorter health bar. These duplicates can switch places with the real Siyeon. Upon death, the clones will explode in a burst of Fox Fire.
