To the Significance peace delegation. We apologize for our belated arrival but as you know we currently have a child soldier by the name of Erika von Scharnhorst in our custody. Due to Chuckian judicial processes we are working on developing a war trial against her due to beliefs that war crimes were committed. The one major thing is, we do not support "kangaroo courts" and pride ourselves in offering fair and impartial justice. As such defendants have every right to defend themselves. Currently the young Erika von Scharnhorst and her lawyers are building her defense. Once they are finished we will bring her and the judges to your battleship and perform the trial there.

The Spokane Delagacy arrived in due time and bowed to Penny. He looked at her in the eyes and said “Josepef’s missing again, and two men who I have verified to be part of your SIS were last seen with him. Would you mind informing me about his current situation and permit me to talk to him ALONE?”

For one of the very few moments in her life, Penny was caught off guard.

"Are you sure it was the SIS? They operate quite independently you see, so I'm on a need to know basis. If you'll excuse me, I'll try and get in touch with the commander in charge, and try to sort this out. There's food on the table if your hungry, and the guards inside the gazebo will be happy to help with anything else. I'm sorry about this"

She began to walk quickly along the deck, her heels making a pinging sound off the metal deck. Seeing this, Harry quickly began to walk alongside her. He'd just received a message of his own.

"Ma'am the nation of The Chuck just telegramed us. Apparently they are running late due to an international court case, and want to move it here"

Penny sighed.

"Sort it out please, I don't see a problem with the request. I'd make the nescessary arrangements myself but someone needs a good slap for incompetency"

Harry grimaced, but kept cool under fire.

"Of course Ma'am, right away Ma'am"

And with that, he turned off towards the radio room, while Penny continued stomping to the bridge.

The two agents had left the room, and were now standing over a monitor while a technician worked on it. Sadly, for them, they'd found little information about Agent Dragon, much to their surprise. Then, the phone on the desk rang, and Agent 13 answered.

"Yes....sir?...Yes sir... what?...no sir, of course not....It's just, we're so close, after so long....that bad sir?....of course sir...us sir?...right away then?"

As Agent 13 put down the phone, he was visibly sweating. Agent 12 was worried.

"Who and what was that?"

Agent 13 went over to a nearby table, grabbed the glass of water on, took a large swig, then put it back down before answering.

"It was the boss. The nation of Spokane is on to us, and we are being ordered to take the prisoner to the peace talks ship where we'll have to explain everything to the Empress herself"

Agent 12 gulped.

"That bad, huh"

Agent 13 grimaced.

"Yep. Prep the prisoner for transfer, and may God have mercy on us"

As the two agents hurried away, the technician, still working away at the problem given to her, muttered.

"God won't save you two fools"

Josepef smiled with relief when he heard he was going to get out of here. Spokane had really saved me this time Josepef thought.

They were sent to live in Spokane with a wax body left behind to set a fake trail for their safety.

Listening in on the conversation. Ryan spoke up,

Picking up his briefcase he stepped through the big door into the hallway.

Aceus sighed, his face slumping into his hands...before there was a smirk, a chuckle. Then a full on laugh, with some tears. "I'm not sure how to deal with this, or..." he stated between laughs. "Or how she kept. You know what? This d20?" he picked it up. "This d20 ruined the days of a few dozen Necrons, some Daemonettes, and one squiggoth. At least, as far as I can remember. Anne...Anne was a beast on the tabletop. Small wonder why you decided to go full Vindicare..." his laughter faded with his smile, as the reality once more set in. "So...I suppose this is the part where you break my arms for being out of your life."

Erika slowly stood, and walked up to the bars.
She then grabbed Aceus through the cell bars and tried to hug him as best as she could.

Aceus would blink, and then the tears would begin to flow. "<<My girl...>>" he would stammer in German, his hands bringing her close to his chest. "<<My beautiful...beautiful little girl. I've missed you. I'm sorry...>>"
In that moment, the war, the kings, the tragedies were far away and mattered little. In that moment, there was a broken man, and a broken girl, attempting to piece each other's hearts back together. Aceus would apologize over and over, sobbing freely. How could he hope to make up for abandoning her, how could she forgive him so easily?

Erika's chest heaved, over and over, tears falling and falling, washing the floor. The war, her Uncle, the trial, all of it faded to nothing-what mattered to her was only her father.

Although Ryan had a 2 inch thick steel door between him and the two occupants of the cargo hold he still heard snippets of the conversation taking place through the vents. After hearing Aceus speaking earlier it was fairly easy to follow along to what they were saying and sneaking a peak he saw the young von Scharnhorst attempting to hug her father through the bars. With a feeling of sadness he took the key ring from his pocket and cracked the door while tossing the keys in. While he did he quickly muttered,

"Client attorney confidentiality is at play here. Though please do not attempt to escape, it will only make it worse."

With that he closed the door and went down to the canteen to grab a coffee and give the family some actual alone time.

[Lethen Empire]

Northern Tel Aviv
One particular office space was now a Lethen stronghold. Squadrons, covered by sandbag, metal plates, and the occasional little trench was situated at the ground floor of the building. A mortar crew upon the roof encased themselves in sandbags by the stairway, and the rest of the roof was home to multiple squads who had even more sandbags up against the parapets. One of those squads was the Kaizerkommando Sergeant Levi Raus' KKd Team One.
Reinhardt de Vries was in the midst of bearing down on an Ausinian position with his machine gun. The Ausinian position, as the offensive team, was less well prepared and had not much more than the walls between and under the windows to duck under as the aforementioned glass objects shattered above them. He had overshot by a lot and his machine gun needed to cool.

"They're suppressed, take aim, take aim!" barked Levi. Upon his order, the squadron got comfy in their spots and took aim. "This is it! On my signal..."
After about six seconds, the Ausinian squadron peeked back up with a prudent bashfulness.
"NOW!"
Reinhardt deemed this to be sufficient cooling time and opted in.
"Die, you swarm of roaches!" scathed Leon. The team let loose a mighty hailstorm of bullets on the Ausinian position.

One of Kris' rounds had struck an Ausinian soldier, but the wound only hit the man's upper arm.
"Hit confirmed, hit confirmed! Uh-- Damn, it's non-lethal! He could be back up any minute now." said Kris with falling enthusiasm.

With several of the squad members needing to reload, the pair of opposing squads returned to a stagnant trade of bullets.

Apologies Ausinia if this post seems controlling. I'm just making safe assumptions here. Tried not to play this in an edgy manner, with Kris getting a disappointing 'lucky' shot but otherwise no one else hitting much, as is realistic.

Aceus gently stroked Erika's head, letting her sob fully into his chest and hear the heartbeat of her father. "<<I thought I had lost you forever...>>" Aceus smiled, his tears no longer those of regret, but of happiness. "<<I'm here...I'm here...>>"

With that, Aceus kept her close, remaining as quiet as needed, for he didn't want to ruin this moment with worthless apologies. If Erika was anything like her mother, she would have none of it. The young German girl would be gently rocked back and forth in his arms, supporting her for the first time.

Aaron, the Spokane Delagate chowed on food as he thought on Operation Emerald and Agent Dragon. Agent Dragon was of major importance to the nation that protects the heart of the nation by finding out data and warning Spokane. He hoped that James would be okay.

Aceus would lift her cheek gently and smile down upon her. "<<I don't know how to get you home, but I'll fight tooth and nail to get you there.>>" he admitted with a sigh. "<<You've gotten yourself into deep trouble, I won't lie. But I'll do whatever I can to keep you safe and home, just promise not to bust anyone's skull and work with me, okay?>>"
