Josepef got up and kept crawling towards the ship pleading to god to find someone to help him. He waved towards the ship but he didn’t think any one saw him. He pulled out his glock and fired into the sky, hoping someone would find him. He collapsed again as he begged for mercy.

Israeli coast

The fleet had made it, without a scratch. No one had decided to risk shooting a defended aid ships.

Now, along the coast, the LSTs were landing, setting up aid camps and deploying peacekeeper mercenaries. Some peacekeepers were sent out to look for civilians in need of help, although many had already made it to the coast already. Nuclear clean up crews were also deployed, to try and clean up the mess of the nuclear strike, and they also had peacekeepers escorting them.

An interesting incident however, was one aid camp in particular, which had civilians surrounding an unconscious body, and two mysteries figures in white hooded cloaks, with large camping bags on their back, heading inland alone. What they were up to, was a need to know basis....

Meanwhile, the warships that had escorted the aid ships, were now on patrol, guarding new aid ships that would be coming in from the Suez, keeping the aid camps constantly supplied with aid, and picking up asylum seekers bound for Significance.

All bar the battleship S.N.S 'Julius Caeser' and her own escorts, who were stationary off the coast of Tel Aviv, waiting for the participants of the peace talks to arrive.

"We just arrived here"

The combat medic said.

"I was hoping you could fill me in on how it was you became unconscious on this beach, so I could help treat you. Sadly, we are just setting up proper medical equipment right now, but I will do my best to keep you comfortable. My name is Jacob, what is yours?".

Josepef woke up and looked in the faces of civilians. “Wh-What happened?”

"Why would we do that? You might be a combatant in this war, but we are here to help anyone we can. We are on a humanitarian mission. If you tell us who you work for, I'll make sure you are returned safely to them. In the meantime, can you be a bit more specific. For example, it is very warm out here, have you had plenty of water to drink?"

"We haven't run into anyone else yet, but we likely will at some point. Why don't you tell me about the man with the smoke bombs yourself".

He leaned in to whisper in Josepf's ear.

"And don't worry, I understand. My brother is a secret agent himself. You never know who you can trust. Don't worry, we'll keep anyone following you off your tail".

He then leaned back and talked normally.

"Anyway, hopefully you are just suffering from dehydration. Here, have some of my water"

He opened his bottle and passed it to Josepf.

"If you still don't feel better, just tell me, and we'll try and figure out the problem together ok?"

He smiled. Jacob was always willing to help those in need.

Josepef smiled himself and took a swig of water. “So the Chuck has a teen assassin on board, and I went to save her. It backfired and I had to use a smoke bomb to get out.”

Penny had walked to the bridge of the ship after her Advisor, Harry, had rushed to see her. Apparently this was urgent.

"Splashes from shells detected all around us. I think we might have parked in the middle of a battle Ma'am".

Penny was not impressed.

"Parked in the middle of a battle, how'd that happen you imbecile! Find us somewhere that isn't so dangerous! And warn the rest of the fleet of this area".

The Admiral turned bright red and cowered slightly.

"Right away Ma'am".

Harry, her Advisor, then turned to her.

"Ma'am, there's an aid camp on the coast near us, they are also at risk"

Penny sighed.

"Not much we can do now. We'll have to use trucks along the coastal roads to resupply them now. And contact them to warn them of the situation. Hopefully, if something does happen, we can solve this diplomatically".

And with that, the battleship and it's escorts moved off, to hopefully less dangerous waters. The talks would now take place off the coast of the city of Haifa instead, if that was safe.

He had decided to inform Josepf of the situation, after they had become friends while talking about war stories, and the plan to use trucks along the coastal road to deliver him and asylum seekers to an aid camp further north, who would then all be put on a boat to Significance, where Josepf would then be able to take a flight wherever he wanted.

Now, Josepf's condition had worsened with the news, and the aid camp still wasn't fully set up. He was lying in a bed in a small temporary tent, before the main complex was erected.

Jacob sighed. Josepf would have to stay far longer than anticipated, till it was found out exactly what was wrong with him. Although Josepf most likely couldn't hear him while unconscious, Jacob spoke.

"What happened to you Josepf? How can someone have allowed you to end up like this? It isn't right".

The taller of the two said, while the shorter one put a black bag over Joespf's head before he could react.

When the bag was pulled off, Josepf couldn't understand where he was. He was in a windowless room, with grey walls, a grey floor, and grey ceiling, with only a white metal door to break up his surroundings.

He was also tied to a metal chair, next to a metal table. The two guards, now in stylish black suits, now stood opposite him, leaning on the table. The smaller man spoke first.

"I'm Agent 12, and this is my partner, Agent 13"

Agent 13 nodded, then spoke himself.

We are from the Significance Intelligence Services. SIS, for short. We've been trying to track you down for a while"

Now, Agent 12 now nodded, and continued.

"It seems you are quite the magician, appearing and disappearing at will. It's probably what makes you such a good contractor"

Agent 13 agreed.

"Yes, but you can't outrun us. We always catch our target. However, you have information, valuable information, which we would like"

It was now Agent 12's turn to agree.

"Yes. And we also know about your track record. You're wanted in quite a few countries"

Agent 13 now laid the final pieces out.

"So, we have a proposal. Give us the information, and we can make sure you remain safe, and never have to answer your crimes"

Agent 12 then made a rather menacing smile.

"Of course, if you don't, then we'll have to find....other....methods to extract the information from you"

Agent 13 looked at his colleague, then back at Josepf.

"And none of us want that. Do we? So, why don't you tell us what you know? Ok?"

They now waited for a response.

The spit hit Agent 12 on the cheek, and he wiped it off his face with a handkerchief in his breast pocket. Agent 13 chuckled, and replied.

"Don't play games child, or should I say, man. We know more about you than you realize. We want to know everything you know. The people that hire you, the people you've targeted. Everything, so that we can stay ahead of all of them, right where Significance belongs"

Agent 12 had walked over to the metal door, and knocked. An unseen hatch opened in the middle, and gloved hands passed the agent a small package. The agent opened the package, which inside contained a small vile and a syringe. The agent then filled the syringe with the clear liquid in the vile, and explained.

"This little 'cocktail' is our own home brewed truth serum. Not perfect, but one of the best available for loosening tongues. However, the side affects can be, unnerving"

Agent 13 now spoke.

"So, you either stop playing around and tell us everything we want to know, or my partner will inject you with the serum, and who knows what will happen then. What's your choice going to be Josepf?"

Again, they waited for a response.

A man in a white hooded cloak said, as he pulled down his hood, revealing long curly black hair. The other man, also in a hooded white cloak, was looking at a map.

"Unlike you, Frank, I have years of training looking at maps"

Frank chuckled.

"Oh really, Charles, that's what you always say. You think just because you 'planned' stuff as a resistance leader back in the day, you know things better than me, when really you used to go in all gung ho"

Charles smirked.

"At least I wasn't in a lab, working for some despot"

Frank wasn't having any of it.

"I couldn't work, becuase you kept destroying all my work!"

Charles laughed.

"Becuase those projects were dangerous to our movement, like the super soldier program"

Frank bit back.

"It's because of you that I had to experiment on myself! Now I have to take these stupid pills"

As Frank said that, he took a small bottle of pills from his cloak pocket, opened it, knocked a pill out, closed and put back the bottle, then swung the pill back, down his throat.

"Well, that wouldn't of happened if you chose the right side"

Charles said.

"You try changing sides with a gun pointed at you"

Muttered Frank. He then piped up.

"Anyway, are you going to let me have a look at the map?"

Charles sighed.

"Fine"

And passed Frank the map. As Frank was looking at it, he decided to jab Charles one last time.

"So, how's Penny"

Charles shot him a look. Then, they both just burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, Penny herself was pacing at the back of the battleship, where a wooden table and chairs with cushions on had been set up, below a large gazebo. Penny herself was just outside the set up, with a long blowy dark blue dress on and a large floppy light blue hat with a black plastic flower adorned on her head.

She was impatient, as non of the guests had arrived for the peace talks.

"How I am meant to make peace if no one is here"

She muttered.

Harry, her Advisor with her, was standing a good distance away. He was worried. No one wanted to mess with the Empress.

Due to Chuckian judicial processes we are working on developing a war trial against her due to beliefs that war crimes were committed. The one major thing is, we do not support "kangaroo courts" and pride ourselves in offering fair and impartial justice. As such defendants have every right to defend themselves. Currently the young Erika von Scharnhorst and her lawyers are building her defense. Once they are finished we will bring her and the judges to your battleship and perform the trial there.
