Socialists lose power as democracy begins to rise (OPEN, MT)

Postby Bengera » Thu Apr 08, 2010 5:13 pm

In a groundbreaking event that will surely shake the world, the Socialist Party of Bengera has currently lost power in a close election that has brought the Liberal Party of Bengera to power. The leader of the Liberals is currently Howard Dregas, who won just by 54% of the vote.

The Liberals have stated that their intention is the change Bengera from democratic socialism to a more liberal nation, while still keeping it's historical socialist roots. Fredrick Trotshev will work in the Bengerian Parliament, and has stated that he will fight for the next elections. This election is the first time he has lost, having won four elections, each in a row.

This is Howard Dregas:

Offical letter from the Communist Party of the U.S.S.
We do not see the point of making Bengera more liberal, the only more liberal party would be the Communist Party. So we ask of you, the Liberal Party of Bengera, what are you. Are you supporters of the Communist theory and will relations between our two nations change?

The Liberal Party, while not communist, will keep traditional socialism and relations between Bengera and socialist nations will not change.
