The candidates posted below are running for one of the highest positions in Courtsland's government the position of Chancellor of Parliament. As Chancellor the winning candidate will lead Parliament and the country. The Chancellor will work closely with the Empress, and Governor General. The Chancellor will also hold to the ceremonial duties of Parliament since in Courtsland Parliament is ceremonial not governmental. The Grand Council of Citizens are the governmental branch. Choose wisely. Most of Parliament are made up of Federalist Pary members keep that in mind. We do want the Chancellor to have a smooth 7 years in office.
Dr. May Williams
Dr. May Williams is a member of the Federalist party. She has recently served on the Grand Council of Citizens(Courtsland's governing body) for 12 years, and served the late Emperor Ian VII on his Privy Council for 25 years.Dr. May plans to promote social, and economical reforms in Courtsland. She wants Courtsland to be more centralized instead of international. Dr. May wants to keep the old order of things.
Sir. Thomas Moyer
Sir. Thomas Moyer is a member of the Imperialist party. He has served on the Supreme Court for 30 years. He plans to promote the judicial system. And, drop crime rates in Courtsland. He plans to crack down on illegal immigration, and terroism. He plans to issue stricter visa laws, and pass port laws. He plans to install more advanced technology in airports, and public facilities to keep Courtsland safe. Sir. Thomas also plans to work very closely with the Empress and her Privy Council.
Timothy Wright
Timothy Wright is a member of the Rebel aka "New Age" Party. Timothy Wright plans to promote equality among all people. Lessen the power of the COuncil of Nobles, and the Monarch. Timothy Wright promotes socialism. Timothy Wright plans to inflict stricter laws on atheism,christianity,judaism, and all the other major beliefs syste,. He wants to turn Courtsland into a government is god state.(He can only do very little of his plans because heis just a ceremonial head real pwer lies in the office of Emperor/Empress or Governor-General.)
