Captain Roberts stood in the bridge of the Imperium looking at the dull , grey , heaving sea. Crew walked around the bridge , glancing charts , altering the ships course and sending out orders to the escorts that accompanied the large aircraft carriers. Rain and spray made it hard , almost impossible to see out of the windows in the Bridge , and the ship rocked from side to side. A young Warrant Officer walked into the bridge , "Captain , for you , we have received notification of an unknown group of ships entering Federal sea space". Roberts took the piece of paper and held it in both hands , glancing over the words "Do we know whether they are hostile or not", the young officer shook his head "But" he said emphasizing the word , "Rodarian naval units have been deployed to intercept it , I suggest we get on the scene very quickly before anything untoward happens". Roberts nodded this time "agreed" he coughed and then said "also , deploy the P-1 I want to see if we can get a closer look at these ships before we know how to act". The officer nodded , and then ran over to one of the phone lines , punched in a number then spoke into the receiver "orders from the bridge here : Launch the P-1

P-1 Patrol Aircrat

The three crew members sat in the small , cramped patrol aircraft , waiting for the clearance to take off the carriers deck. Finally the confirmation came "This is flight deck command , you have clearance to takeoff" , the flight officer picked up the radio receiver "very well , taking off". Pulling back the throttle , the two propellors of the aircraft on either wing roared into action , and it began to roll down the long angular flight deck picking up speed , before seemingly leaping up into the air , wobbling , and then beginning to climb. "takeoff successful" The pilot said. The grey sky could be seen from the cockpit "we'll have to do this by radar" said the radar officer "and then take a low pass over them , hopefully we'll get some pictures that way". The aircraft flew for another fourty five minutes. The convoy drew ever closer. "Right" said the pilot , get ready , we'll make a fast decent , turn the wing camera's on". The aircraft then plunged down towards the ships

The warrant officer walked briskly up to Roberts , holding a brown envelope. "We got the data back from the P-1" , Roberts , sitting in his skippers chair looked down "what is it" , the warrant officer cleared his throat "a convoy full of refugees , unknown nationality" Roberts nodded , and then said "Right , as officers of the Hiedenburghian crown it is our duty to protect these people" , sail towards the convoy

UCN Valdore, Flagship of the 8th naval group

"Sir, Polaris radar reports they are all cargo ships. Unknown regisitry, No weapons reported sir, also there is a Hidenburghan fleet 3 miles east." the XO reported. "What!, what are they doing here. hmmm open all missile pods, hopefully they will get the hint. Move us in across their bow. Tell the Hidenburghan admiral to stay away. This is our problem." Admiral Kovor ordered.

"good, have every forward battery face the Hidenburghans" Kovor responded looking out of the bridge
"erm, yes sir" the weapons officer replied.

Roberts looked at the Rodarian message , then screwed it up. He removed his reading glasses placing them on his desk and then reached into his pocket , taking out his cigarette's , lighting one. "I don't want to start a civil war here , Joe" he said to the officer. Please send a message to the Rodarian fleet command.

The deep siren sung, the crews of the 4 ships sprung into action, all the missile and defense systems poped up.

"Crap said Roberts what do we do now", the Flag admiral walked into the room , holding yet another message "We are under orders , by the home office to defend these ships at whatever cost. I suggest that we form a shield around them and escort them into Hiedenburghian waters , we will deal with it from there". Roberts sighed , for once , the strain was not on him "Great , I will message the Rodarian fleet"

"Man battle stations" Said Roberts , almost vacantly , staring into thin air "oh and tell flights one and two , prepare for takeoff". The officer standing beside him said shouted "yes sir" , and walked out of the room. Throughout the task force , men on the ships rushed to their battle stations , guns and missile launchers were maneuvered to fire and on the aircraft carrier HHS Imperator , twenty fighters took to the air

"Sir, they are launching squadrons. 20 fighters. Unknown armenant" one officer said
"My, god. Firing a warning shot 30 meters infront of the lead squadron." Kovor shouted, looking in a amazment.
"yes, sir, firing 40 mm bofors cannon 1" the weapons officer answered.
"This is getting out of hand sir" the XO whispered.
"We follow military protocol, Galon" Kovor replied with gazing eyes.


The short burst of the 40mm bofors cannon wizzed past the lead squadron.

Rodarion ships is pointless. We cannot understand why they would stand with an invading force against their allies." the minister of defence stated.

Flight Group 1

The fighter jets spend over the grey churning sea , their grey paint schemes almost blending in with the bleak , wet and dark environment. The group leader listened to the radio receiver in his helmet. Orders being processed from from Command. Although nobody else was in the cockpit , he nodded in understanding and then spoke over his radio "all units of flight group one , prepare to attack UCN Valadore and accompanying frigates. The jets spend through the rain , towards their ill fated targets , their harpoon anti-ship missiles fixed to their wings "standby to fire" the pilots held their breaths "Now" Twenty missiles sped towards the five targets , tearing through the grey sky

Alexiandra now declares that if Hiedenburgh does not stop these actions, we will report them to the Federation, and order all subs to engage.

[Rodarion]

"INCOMING MISSILES SIR" the polaris radar officer screamed.
"PDS online NOW!" Kovor bellowed into the weapons officer's face.

The PDS turrets opened up destroying 12 of the missiles.
the last 8 were heading for the Valdore and the Olurion.
"may god help us" Kovor shut his eyes.

2 harpoons smashed into the helicopter hangar, blowing the top aft of the ship to peices. The Ship rocked in horror. One othe smashed into the smoke stack, sending twisted metal down below. the other 2 missed, one striking a frigate on the bow.The Olurion was blown completely out of the water, all hands lost.

"Damage report!" Kovor ordered.
"fire in sections; 7,8,5 and 3. hangar lost sir" a officer replied.
Fire harpoon launcher 1,2,3 and 4 at the enemy carrier"

The 4 missiles launched out of the burning ship, streaking above the waves. heading for the largest target.

HHS Imperator

"HO-LY FUCK" said a radar operator , as he looked at his radar screen. Clearly , illuminated in the green light , four streaks sped towards the aircraft carrier "ATTACK , ATTACK , ATTACK". In the bridge , Roberts received the news , with a sick feeling in his gut "perform evasive manevers". The Imperator , veered onto its side , at full speed making a ninety degree turn through the water. It was two late , four flaming objects smashed into the aircraft carrier , flames bellowed from it , metal tore and fighter jets were thrown into the air whilst explosions rocked its hull. Men on the escorting ships stared wide eyed in horror "The Imperator has gone" the muttered awe struck as they watched the remains of the once magnificent ship slip underwater. Flames remained burning on the surface as the final sections of the bow slid underwater

I want all torpedoes armed and ready to fire. If the ships attack again, orders are to sink Hiedenburghan vessels. We support Rodarion, and will defend their rights."

"All ships, target the cargo ships, if we go down we go down with the enemy.
Colonel, have harpoon, 5,6 and 7 target the Hindeburgh flagship, specific targets, the hangar, com tower and her main weapons" Kovor ordered whilst look at his battered fleet, then seeing the 500ft plume of smoke from the carrier, he just destroyed.


then the main batteries of the 3 remaining ships began blasting the cargo ships to peices. The screams became so loud, the crews doubted they were soldiers. The cargo ships were engulfed in flame but still afloat, for now.

Submarine Squadron Group thirty two

Four Hunt Class Submarines cruised smoothly and silently beneath the waves. Each armed with fourty five cruise missiles , ready to fire at the Rodarion fleet. Admiral Dan Coder stood in the coning tower of the submarine , listening to the communications from the surface “Closing in… Rodarion Fleet sunk convoy”. Climbing down into the command center , Coder spoke to one of his officers “Order all units to fire all cruise missiles at units of Rodarian fleet” The officer stood their amazed “there are only one hundred and thirty units” , Coder nodded “Double target units with good missile defences”. The submarines continued their passage underwater , then suddenly , salvos of cruise missiles flew out of them , breaking through the surface and flying towards the Rodarian fleet”. This was the Hiedenburghian revenge

Sir, a Hidenburghan sub group has been detected......... 45+ missiles inbound. eta 2 minuets. The radar officer cried.
no, worry, order a fleet wide Phalanx CIWS activation. All ships open fire. Tolar responded calmly, whilest stiring his tea.

118 ships fired the phalanx turrets all unison, the grey sky turned yellow with the tracer fire. 60+ were destroyed. 33 flew towards, only to be blasted by the cluster flak guns of the Valkyrie, the anti-missile defense ship.
However 1 got through and hit the base of the Conning tower of the UCN Athena, blasting a gapping hole at the base. Smoke bellowed from the ship
"fire crews, go, go , go" the Athena captain, ordered.
Launch all anti sub patrols, sink everyone of those bastards. Tolar ordered.
