Once the genocide starts, the SRF catches on quickly. They quickly launch an attack on Lakarta, with troops landing on the beaches equipped with thermal equipment, and the SRA targeting military areas of Lakarta and their allies, attempting to deal as much damage as possible. In the capital, para droppers are flown overhead, as combat starts in the street with the spec ops Semparians and several allies in a attempt to eliminate parts of the government, with the primary target being the Chairman

Of all her years, seen through the Human-BETA war, seeing the stupidity of man was truly something she never got used to. Especially in conflicts such as this, she could only shake her head. Inia said rather nervously. Before Yashiro looked to her sister with an eyebrow raised. "And that would be...?" Yashiro asked before Inia finally gave in.

"Orbital... Weapons..." Inia said before Yashiro simply shook her head. "Idiots. ...All of them.... Alright. So get the cyber warfare team to deal with these weapons. And announce that they will get their weapons back when they stop killing their own people. ....Also put the military on high alert and mobilise the TSF corps." Yashiro said before her sister turned and left. "Alright! I'll get to it right now!" Inia yelled as she left the office and Yashiro couldn't help but pinch the bridge of her nose. "I thought we were past these idiotic fights over ideology..." Yashiro said aloud to herself.

Hours later, Lakarta would find itself without use of it's orbital weapons, their systems being locked out only showing a insignia of a lock followed by text reading in English as "By Order of Superintendent Yashiro Kasumi, the Lakarta government shall find itself without use of it's orbital weapons until it conforms to International Law and ceases attacks on it's own civilian populace. Should this not come to pass then the Union of Mankind's armed forces shall intervene on behalf of the populace to establish lines upon which refugees may flee and go wherever they please. The Lakarta government has 48 hours to comply.... However because this is a idiotic fight over ideology we know that it may fall on deaf ears so we have already mobilised our armed forces. Have a nice day." Each time a system was accessed.

Imperial Legions began landing on the coast of Lakarta. Within the first hour, they establish a forward command base called Echelon-Omega, 500 yards away from a suspected PFL base. Their advanced cloaking device allows them to remain invisible to the human eye, as long as they stay at least 5 feet away. Within the second hour, infiltrators have confirmed that this PFL base is simply a recruitment outpost. Within the third hour of their deployment, the 7th Expeditionary Legion has razed the outpost to the ground, leaving no survivors, and marking their stance against this terrorist threat.

Fortunately that base was mostly evacuated by the time the legions burned it to the ground. Any aircraft, even an old one, was still noticeable for miles visually. Most of the goods had been moved out of their by then, but it didn't do much to stem the moral loss that came from it. None of it happened without observation however, and news of technologically advanced forces from a foreign power on the site moved rapidly up the chain of the PFL, and to their handlers beyond.

This changed things...

In the meantime, having established communications with Semparia prior to this, the PFL and their allies abroad are prepared for the action to follow. Perhaps the biggest mistake that the chairman made to date is his mass conscription followed by continually abusing his population. That is to say, the families and friends of those same soldiers. The fruits of that bad decision are carried out in tandem with Semparia's surgical strikes, as whole squads go rogue at once, murdering their allies that are not co-conspirators in their barracks and on patrol routes before taking their equipment and fleeing. Others, using the radio codes they still possess, give false reports of attacks where none are happening, and misreport those that truly are. These codes are also leaked to Semparia. Whole motorpools are found with their vehicle's engine blocks shot to pieces and their tires slashed. Civilian operators leave trucks and vehicles in the roads blocking reinforcements to the cities and further clog motorways that are already filled to bursting with refugees fleeing and rioters looting before news of planned genocide, and in the countryside, where the PFL have their greatest bases of support, they launch several coordinated attacks on villages loyal to the government and attempt to establish a semi-cohesive frontline.

Commander Valorian looked at he invading forces with contempt. "Chairman, I, Commander Valorian Octavius Galius, authorize the use of Toaslandian Imperial Interrstellar Fleet Judicay, to fire on anyone who steps one foot onto Lakartan soil." Chairman Ghazi looks at Valorian with a confused look. "What? What fleet?" "The orbital one." Valorian says with a smile. Ghazi looks terrified. "Valorian, this will destroy my nation!" "You were already destroying it." Before Ghazi can say anything, Valorian's Legionnarries kill Ghazi's guards and capture him. "From now on, Lakarta is a province in the Galactic Empire of Toaslandia!"

All over the world strange radio waves can be caught, they are not emitted by stars, planets or the like, they are, inherently artificial in origin, whatever they are however, they are not signalling something good, they are signalling something big and massive, and it's likely approaching Earth...
There have been reports of strange objects, there have always been such reports, but these were... Unique. They are told with great detail and rarely, if ever, differ much from each other.

Semparian troops shift their attention to the Toaslandia forces, and offer the Lakartian forces an offer. If they promise to instate a democratic non communist, non oppressive government of Lakartia once this is over, they will also get international aid, Semparian forces will support them in retaking their country against Toaslandia. If not Semparia will temporarily occupy the country once the war is won, until a country meeting the above criteria can be established.

In the turmoil that follows Ghazi's apparent disappearance and the proclamation that the entire region is being annexed by Toaslandia, the PFL take advantage of that chaos to seize more land. In particular, moving out to capture more farmland and zones producing oil. What economic resources they can capture are moved well away from any military or civilian targets, and then they disappear somewhere or other. After that they focus on consolidation. They seed their regions with patrols and begin to establish several more bases in the rural countryside from which they can form effective zones of defense. As for their army, they begin to reform it into a somewhat more cohesive unit now that they were facing an enemy army of their own and not longer so much leading a campaign of popular insurgency.

Reports are going wild about all sorts of things going on in the skies above the nation, so for the short term future they sit tight and try to prepare themselves for whatever the hell kind of calamity is going to happen this time. It seems that when things rain they also pour; small earthquakes can be felt around the nation.

We shall rise from the ash---" He did not get to finish, due to the fact that he had disintegrated. The crowds screamed in horror as Valorion put the pistol back in its holster.

As his Legionnaires fall, Lord Protector Valirion pulls out his pistol. Two of the Semparian soldiers see him and attempt to fire, but fall into dust. Valirion fires more disintegration rounds until there is only one Spec Ops left. He knows what will happen and attempts to plead for his life, but is also disintegrated.

(I think a whole group of Paradroppers and Spec ops armed to the teeth could easily take out half a dozen guards and a dude with a lazer pistol in a ambush in a urban area, while they would take losses because FT they would still easily kill them)

As Valorian was walking away, he fell to the ground. He had been shot in the kneecaps, and would have to return to Terrus to heal. General Kios would be regent in his place.

He also pulled his hand to his face to see a hole in the center of it. He was also riddled with bullet holes. Imperial medical staff arrived to stabilize him.
OOC: There, now he's critically injured. Also he was protected by highly trained guards who put up quite a fight. They took most of the bullets. Also, he's kinda a main character. He needs to live.
