Today, elections are being held throughout Silver Beach for the Senate and most importantly, the Presdient of the Senate. Let us look at the three parties
Confederate Party
BACKGROUND: The confederates are a party that like small central government and want to give more power to the states, tribes, and cities and take it away from the Federal government
CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE: Jesse W. Bush
CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM: They want to put in a law that states will be able to veto a federal law so that it does not apply in their particular state. Also, they want a constitutional monarchy, but the President of the Senate would have the same power and governors would have more say about the state of Silver Beach's International Affairs
FUTURE POLICIES: If they get elected into power, they will get rid of federal health care and make a mix of stave given health care and private health care. They would also start unemployment benefits and try to attract foreign investors to Silver Beach to drive up the economy.
RALLY: In the city of Plymouth in the state of North Minoaa at Gold Oil Field
Royalist Party
BACKGROUND: The royalists are traditionally supporters of the king, and this time it is no different. They want to go out and increase the kings power, and take some power away from Parliament and give it to the king
CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE: Current President of the Senate Adorabelle Namigadde
CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM: They want to put in a law that decreases the power of the President of the Senate and increases the power of the king. They want to give the king a veto power, and if 2/3 of the people support it, he can filibuster bills himself and he will also be able to have more control over the international affairs of Silver Beach
FUTURE POLICIES: If the royalists get elected into power, they would try to raise exports out of the country and cut back on imports and probably introduce tariffs on foreign goods. And they would increase military power

Democratic Party
BACKGROUND: The democrats are typically the most anti-king party out there, and it is more of the same. They want to create more of a democracy, and increase the power of Parliament and the President of the Senate
CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE: Hannah Fenton
CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM: They eventually want to make a constitutional monarchy where the king has no real powers and make a true president of Silver Beach, with also an added office of Vice President, where the vice would also have power about equal to the power of the current President of the Senate
FUTURE POLICIES: If the democrats get elected, they will institute a welfare system and start a massive spending spree to provide jobs for the people and introduce high tariffs on foreign goods.
RALLY: The city of York in East Oolanda, Silver Beach
All parties are unified and biparitsan in the fact that they want peaceful elections, Silverian troops are at all rallies to dispell violence, and want 0 foreign troops in Silver Beach, though they will take money from foreign countries. The Silverian Secret Service is heavily guarding each of the candidates and the king.
