Things were really messy right now in Asia. A civil war has been raging for three months now in the Northern country of Jeoguk. Months have passed since President Gong Gyeong-dong of Jeoguk had first declared war on the culture of K-pop proclaiming it to be degenerate and corrupting, which was followed by mass imprisonment and even execution of K-pop fans, as well as the plotted assassinations of K-pop bands by rogue military officers. Feeling threatened and persecuted the K-pop fans of Jeoguk formed the Idol Devotees Defense Front (IDDF) which rebelled against Gong's government. Because Jeoguk's military was not ready and the IDDF had tens of thousands of K-pop fans from the world, but mostly China, joining it, the government lost control of a lot of territory in a few weeks.
Multiple factions have arose ever since the war had began raging. In the north, the Balhae front, a group known as ultranationalist group seeking to restore the age old Balhae monarchial empire fights on. In the northernmost tip of the country, the Anime Army fights on, a collection of self professed "Otakus" and "Fujoshis" who seek to turn Jeoguk into an "Anime State" (ironically also being the most democratic of all the groups having endorsed a republican form of government for the new country, freedom of religion [except atheism] and tolerance.) In the southwest, the IDDF, the Pro-KPOP faction has also taken large swathes of the country with the rest of the remaining territory being under the control of the Jeo central government. Even after months of fighting, no one group has managed to end the conflict to their favor as not everyone had the strength to do so and the few powers that had lacked the political will to end the conflict once and for all. It seems the civil war in Jeoguk was here to stay for some time.
It brought in direct intervention from the Cebuano state of Indotsina under Kadahaganan Sasugo, the Order of the strategically aligned Nations (OSAN) to which one of its members is the Bayan, who had declared war on Anime much earlier (although its seems on the surface that interest on their part of the conflict was dying down) and several other nations with their own agendas in the region.

Current situation of the Jeoguk Civil War
Heneral Eluide has no love for Terten nor his wacky Christian world. When Terten rose to power, Eluide quickly saw Terten's regime for what it was; a regression of human civilization. While the rest of the world was progressing on their own accord by granting people freedoms, making friends worldwide and making great leaps in science and technology, Terten was busy taking people's rights away according to how the Bible desires, burning bridges with people around the world and disavowing Science and progress in general as "Satanic". Eluide watched as the Bayan clearly lagged behind (if it was moving forward at all) from its foreign counterparts. The young Heneral had to resort to asking aid from various nations around the world, from the Saradenans, the Zhouranese, the Covertrone Guardians, the Redshields and even the people of Yohannes in order to somehow keep thei knowledge of science and technology up to date somehow. This was the reason why the Bayan was able to afford creating some fairly fancy weapons such as the Ultra and the Agila despite being an utter shit hole. Still, it was not enough for the potential of the Bayan was still far from being realized with Terten holding back the people with the fundamentalist Christian net. Plus, despite his best efforts to promote some sort of Christian-compatible scientific movement within the population (the kind endorsed by Thomas Aquinas), the population disavowed his advances continuously. Eluide knew henceforth that it was not enough to simply remove Terten, the Bayan should undergo massive cultural shift as well. Hence, he had been very optimistic about converting his colleagues to the new religion which he had subscribed to for years now; the mission. A better alternative for the Bayan than the weakminded moralism of "Christcucks" as he calls them.
What is the Mission?
This weird foreign religion for him, was the solution to all the problems of the Filipino people because rather than upholding poverty, chastity, idle worship and humility, it upheld individual action, courageousness, pride and the joys that life has to offer. Rather than disavowing revelation and enlightenment in favor of blind worship to some
Eluide had hoped that by adopting this ideal, the citizens of the Bayan will finally change their ways from being a submissive people, awaken and finally arouse themselves into contributing for the human race by doing great deeds. While his colleagues agreed this was a sound solution, having equally left Christianity as part of their political protest against Terten, almost none of them share the same devotion to the Mission as Eluide which means that they are prepared to sacrifice everything for this new way of religious thinking. Hence, he was determined to evangelize to them this new thought so even if he dies, the cause of the Mission will live on through his comrades.
Hence, he meanwhile continues his preaching to the rest of his colleagues in the high command in order to achieve all those goals despite that even after doing this for months already, most of his colleagues were not as receptive to his messages as he had hoped.
Back in Zamboanga, he convenes his colleagues once more in the New hall for one of his "Mission studies" meetings.
The new "Missionite" coat of arms of the Hukbo
(Fire is a recurring motif in the mission, due to it being regarded as the symbol of enlightenment)
"The path should be clear for all
If they listen to heaven’s call
To its end, the heart cries out
Til we are what we are about
Until then the soul shall not rest
Peace only reigns under heaven’s behest
Tis for our own and for all mankind
Never again aimless in what we mind
Listen close and you shall hear
Heaven’s call ever draws near..."
Upon finishing this recitation, the Eluide had his right hand briefly placed upon his heart and made a slight bow with his head.
"Ave..." He whispered before he closed the book and slid it back to the pile at the edge of the table. The others, even Dimagilla, his most fervent follower as of the moment, were left with puzzled expressions.
"What in Bathala's name does this mean?" Dimagilla scratched his head.
"That was a prayer for the call." The more senior Heneral remarked.
"So let me get this straight." Meier cleared his throat. "We are supposed to pray that every damn time?"
"Prayer is a necessity, but the choice of what to pray each time is really up to you." Eluide shrugged before he reached out for a zippo in his pocket to light his cigar. "My personal favorite is the Imperative."
"Impera-What now?" The Admiral raised a brow with a doubtful expression still in his face.
Eluide sighed. Every time he preaches this is always the common reaction he is given although he really doesn't have a choice since proselytism requires endless patience. As much as he just wants to slap the Admiral for being such a piece of work during these discussions, he figured that the only way to keep the chances of another person's conversion open was to keep the rapport and bitch slapping was definitely not a way to establish rapport.
"Screw that." Eluide scoffed. "I have something more fun for this activity."
The Admiral briefly turned away in order to roll his eyes without Eluide seeing before sighing. "Fun" and Eluide don't really mix well and it doesn't help that Eluide could barely deviate from his monotonous speech when he announced "fun".
"I'll instead tell a story."
Dimagilla clapped gleefully while the others in the room gave out audible groans. Eluide is terrible at telling stories as he makes even the most thrilling ones sound like the appendix of a calculus book.
The senior Heneral felt a bit demoralized by his comrade's obvious lack of enthusiasm but he's continue anyway.
"Once upon a time..." Eluide began while tears started to flow down the Admiral's face. The others in the room felt their life span being cut in half by the sheer expectation of extreme boredom. Cainitan was banging his head multiple times against the table top while the others were giving texts to their insurance agents. Dimagilla's smile however was extremely wide as he was already loving the story even before it began.
Before Eluide could even continue, the phone at the center of the table rang. Everyone else, save for Dimagilla sighed deeply in relief.
"Chief of staff Heneral Domer Eluide Hukbong Bayan here." Eluide answered. After listening to the person on the otherside of the line for 2 minutes and simply responding with "hmmms...", he dropped the call and announced:
"It looks like Mercy is doing a great job, now let's continue back to the story." To which everyone groaned once again.
In the ocean west of the Bayan
The radio traffic was full along the frequencies of the Bayan as listeners would hear casual conversations between soldiers of the Hukbo using military grade frequencies for recreational purposes. This would shock those who listened (mostly amateur ham radio who were able to set up home made receiver facilities) as this kind of thing was punishable by death. The conversations ranged from soldiers talking about everyday things as if they were simply using the phone up to blatantly treasonous conversations proclaiming Terten to be a "mentally damaged autistic beta male". Many speculated this atmosphere of dissent was mostly tolerated because the Asigna party high officials were gone. They haven't been seen for days since their leave apart from Terten, who left for Jeoguk and hence Heneral Eluide was the de facto most powerful man in the country now.
Two dozen similar ships are patrolling in the South China Sea but this one was the biggest of them all. A "cargo ship" is sailing aimlessly in the middle of the ocean, conveniently within the umbrella of the combined Bayan Hukwid stationed in the Kapitalia. Its massive "cranes", about 30 meters in height were actually radio transmitters and receivers. Across the airwaves, radio signals were buzzing furiously in the air. The signals were being frequency modulated at random each millisecond from the UHF to the C bandwidth. This was the same bandwidth in which the casual radio traffic was heard from the treasonous Hukbo. The "true" military communications were hidden within the traffic. (Hence the communications were often grainy due to coinciding with the casual broadcasts across the different frequencies which they hopped backed and forth on but it was sufficient enough to be understood.) It was also sufficient enough to send digital data for reconnaissance purposes. This made the signals being transmitted very difficult to intercept nor trace the source with normal means without the use of multiband receivers. The operators at their listening posts were vigilant for intercepting any form of radio activity in the Pacific that didn't belong to the Bayan nor of friendly nations. They were also using the massive multiband receivers of their own to stay vigilant for any messages from the homebases. Before the war, routine has been really slow and tedious since literally nothing was going and their duty did not have any specific objectives on but since the bayan's unannounced participation in the war in Jeoguk, the listening patrols have turned into reconnaissance for potential enemies that were coming from outside elements.
The cargo ships was not without weapons to protect itself for it had at least 4 S-400 launchers obscured by empty container vans. The launcher's own radars were listening passively from signals emitted by AWAC patrols nearby to alert them of hostiles from beyond the horizon. It could switch the active detection if it is necessary but the situation calls for the crew of this cargo ship to remain as inconspicuous as possible. They also have an active sonar but now they have switched to passive detection with the help of wired deep sea acoustics they dropped earlier, they have enough mines to turn the surrounding ocean into a dead zone, along with the two dozen other ships who could do the same and they also have torpedoes and towed decoys. Usually, they have flown the flag of Taiwan as the ship's design was Taiwanese but they have been already flown the flags of multiple nations in just a short span of time. Many flags in one day, all but that of the bayan.
The Kalihiman meanwhile, has everything recorded in order to forward the treasonous communications to Terten once he returns. The man keeps secluding himself on the metal box called the BRP Urduja to give trouble to what goes on in the Bayan.
Meanwhile in the Solisian Union
"Dangan Aerial Battleships"
An oversized diplomatic vehicle meant to intimidate
Alas, the great Dangans are once again in action. Only this time, it wasn't going to be used in a violent war, but it was going to wage a different kind of war; A war of diplomacy, a war of emotions, a war of presentation. The so-called "Dangan Aerial Battleships" were never meant to be a practical combat platform as it was a craft too vulnerable to enemy fire coupled by it being a large target and a slow one to boot. Its main guns were supposedly railguns on the original design but in actuality have become nothing more than glorified bomb bays being a storage room for missiles and various kinds of air dropped munitions. Despite its impracticality and vulnerability, it still possesses a decent array of search radars able to see 88 kilometers over the horizon (and even further if it deploys its towed radar balloons), various missiles for defence and attack such as Saigants, Kh cruise missiles and various smaller air defense missiles.
The Dangans however achieved something its more practical companions could not; an emotional evocation. The mere sight of the humungous airship with
Officially, they have several purpose for this trip, to sign a non aggression pact.
Cagayan De Oro's puny airport lay below the Dangan as it flew over the Solisian airspace with official sanction. It stayed still for a moment above the Tarmac before a metal platform attached to steel cables were lowered gently by the machine ala an elevator.
The platform carried the delegation as promised in the letter. Multiple people with fancy dresses and heavy makeup (no different than Capitol fashion from the Hunger games).
"MABUHAY!" One woman amongst the delegation cried out as she gyrated her hips in order to make her look as sexy as possible. Her dress was slit on the side of the legs which meant that it revealed the skin of her hips down to her ankles and occassionally exposing her panties should the wind blow the dress up. The Solisians, if they were to review the files sent to them on the invitation, this women happened to look like the Interior Ministress of the Bayan, Faye Kabil. The woman went out to greet their Solisian counterparts first, carefully stepping her high heels on the floor.
Another stepped down. A shaggy man with shades. Closer inspection of his hair would reveal he has highlights and several lip and ear piercings (although these piercings were clearly fake). His facial structure resembled the man labeled as Adriano Timente, although looked far removed from the more formal man that he was in the picture. It seemed the Bayan delegation was dressed for success. He wore a rockista outfit complete with diamond studded glimmering black leather jacket and very pointed cleat donned boots.
Other people with equally radical looking outfits stepped out and joined the Solisian entourage. Looking around, the Solisians would clearly see that there were no guards around following them. This could only mean that the Bayan has heavy trust on the Solisians for their safety.
They were now prepared for whatever was going to be discussed.
