Great and mighty was Fardhin, the so-called "Conquistador of East Asia"; and possibly "The New Majapahit Empire". Whatever it was, it was no doubt a model of radiant excellence and victory, lead by a man who redefined the very meaning of ambition. From a divided archipelago with extreme weather conditions and terrain, ruled by different kingdoms and empires of Southeast Asia; to a contested territory between foreign powers, to one of the many Soviet States of the Communist Superstate known as the Pan-Asiatic States; and finally to Fardhin, an Imperial Monarchy fostering the culture and heritage of the Orient; it had risen to leave its permanent mark on history.
In the year 2158, mysterious and unknown causes have wiped out most of the Florentine Fleet and half of the massive Fardhine Military during the Invasion of Pan-Asiatic China. Given a chance to retaliate, the Pan-Asiatic States and its allies delivered counterattacks against the empire and its failing strength. By 2159, Fardhin had fallen occupied. In 2161, a treaty was signed; erasing any hopes there may have been of restoring the great nation.
However, not all hope is lost...The Sleeping Throne
The year is 2183, the 24th year of the Pan-Asiatic Occupation. The Fardhine Imperial Family, held hostage; holds back many of the most loyal Fardhinon militants and allies of Fardhin who fear that the Pan-Asiatic States may end their lives. First Emperador Florentino's chosen heir, Juanita Velez y Fardo, has been barred from succeeding her father before her. Rather, the line of succession falls now to Florentino "Flo" Fardo y Saavedra II, whom the Pan-Asiatics have personally chosen as local figure.
Fardhin's lost fleet, resting at the bottom of the Taiwan Strait, is being slowly recovered by the Pan-Asiatic States. The Florentine Warships now serve the Pan-Asiatic Military.
Despite these setbacks, remnants of the former Fardhine Military remain; hunted down as war criminals, and fighting back as insurgents. In the Halman Colony, a massive fleet awaits orders and the chance to strike at the occupation. In Mindanao, the formerly ruling Moros and Lumads of Fardhin use their influence and power to maintain a resilient resistance to the occupation. Throughout the entire country, militant anti-PAS cells refuse to back down. And somewhere out there, the Don Apolinar and her crew still remain a matter of urgency.
The wait has ripened, and time may soon seem right for the reckoning; and for the Sleeping Throne of Fardhin, to awaken once more to shake the foundations of the world and its inhabitants....
