OOC-section

To give a bit of background (or a lack of one), King Hooman II is the mysterious dictator of a small island nation from which only he and his officials may exit and enter, all others blocked off from either side of the border. He constantly claims to know of another species from another dimension and seems to demonize them without much information.

Here we go.

The grand doors of the room fly open, and King Hooman II staggers to the centre of the room. As everyone seems to roll their eyes in sync (for they all know what’s coming), his bodyguards lift him up to be seen by all.

“Fellow humans!” he shouts, fashioning a robe twice his size and arrogantly waving at those still bothering to pay attention. “I warn you once more: There is a species from another dimension! Once they show themselves, they will unleash horror! They shall stamp upon you all a...” They seem to shiver for a second but continue without further reluctance. “...three for a mouth!

Noticing he has lost the attention of most, his bodyguards, struggling to carry the immense weight of not the King himself but the robe upon him, yell complete gibberish. A few heads turn, obviously annoyed with the broken record that is King Hooman II.

“They call themselves the Derplings! We shall honour the first human. We shall save the species he has created! The first human, who sprouted—”

It was the first time he had mentioned what he claimed to be the “first human”, and more heads had seemed to turn. Before swiftly descending with a now worriedly look upon his face, he whimpers, “I’ve said too much.”
