In light of the recent controversy surrounding Khataiy in recent months starting early this year, an investigative reporter from western Europe in partnership with a large non-for profit humanitarian NGO against weapon trafficking has traced the origins of weapons ranging from assault rifles to mortars and mines across the globe in major conflict zones and the research shows almost a quarter if not more of these weapons originate from Khataiy, in an article written by the organization on their website claims the Khataiyi government has full knowledge of such trade and even endorses it while the journalist went on to various news outlets to accuse the Khataiyi government of arming various cartels, militant organizations, and governments including known and controversial dictatorships, for reasons including trade agreements, resources, and ideological grounds the reports also show the Khataiyi government allowed such trade to occur to undermine rival nations and regimes hostile to Khataiy.

According to reports Khataiy is the center of a modern day "silk-road" for illegal weapons because of the country's large weapon stockpile originating from a surplus of weapons from the Second World War leftover by French and German forces. In one article it is believed the weapons trafficking began in the early 1950s with criminal elements sending weapons to Arab nationalist movements in neighboring and nearby states such as Syria and Palestine to use against Israel and later in the 1970s weapons flowed into the country during the first civil war with major world powers such as the Soviet Union, United States, France and China arming various factions as part of the greater Cold War leaving behind thousands of unaccounted for small arms and even larger weapons such as artillery pieces and various explosives, as well as an unknown but large amount of ammunition and various vehicles such as APCs and tanks, while most of these weapons ended up becoming part of the army's equipment or falling into the hands of pro-government tribal forces and paramilitaries a large amount was sold overseas and around the world with the government facilitating such trade to promote its interests as an emerging power, and with President Khairallah taking power in the 1990s weapons trafficking has increased due to his ties with Maghrebi criminal elements in western Europe through his wife's family.

Kief Orange after the brief report began to think during the commercial break, he had read from a script given to him by the company. It was completely biased and filled with talking points, it was obvious that Khataiy had created a vast international arms trade however the idiotic statements of Khairallah being a "ruthless terrorist determined to rule the world" was pure propaganda ignoring blatant geopolitical realities in the name of a few warmongering hawks who had been paying off GNN to do such biased reporting. He looked at the next two scripts, the San David one condemned the coup, without explaining any context as to why the coup was happening in the first place, while the other one accused the Dagistani government of murdering peaceful protestors.

Kief thought to himself, was what he was doing right? or was it wrong? He looked at the next false scripts, more blatant propagandized reporting, this time on situations that GNN had no way of confirming what was truly going on. Yet a prepared script was already made for GNN by its CEO Theodre Turner.
