Yosef sat with 3 other "suspicious individuals" the new government had begun targeting shortly after the coup. He and the others, brought together by these circumstances, found themselves in a small shack by a dirt road bordering the forest. The only light was an old lightbulb, dangling from the ceiling, shining its glow onto them and the wooden table they were discussing around. 'I swear I was framed!' cried Yosef, 'I don't even support Tuebres anymore!' An old man replied 'They would've gone after you either way. If you don't like them, you were as good as dead in their eyes. I myself was a member of a local worker's union before this, I didn't associate with Tuebres and neither did the group. But when we declared distaste over the Junta's practices, we were persecuted. I ran across the country to end up here, safe from Junta patrols. Some of my fellow union members weren't so lucky.' By the way, call me Marcos.' Yosef was in disbelief. A simple old man, chased through the nation by the government in charge, all because he didn't like what they were doing. The woman right of him, and across the old man began to talk. 'Fidela. That's what my friends called me. I voted for Alberto. Worst decision I ever made. He broke our hearts. The people's hearts. They began shouting louder and louder and hitting me with gun butts until I collapsed. I only got out through the fire escape. I was lucky my captor's gun jammed. I was at the capital at the time. I took the nearest cab and told the driver to drive to my parent's village. He was shot halfway through the journey by what I believe to be a Junta sniper. I got out and fled into the forest, only to find this place.' Yosef then turned to the man across him. 'I believe we haven't met yo-
BOOM.
An artillery shell had struck the shack, tearing it to pieces and setting the brush ablaze. Yosef found no sign of the other 3 in sight. He was on his stomach, and he could faintly hear the footsteps of soldiers. He got up and ran into the forest, leaving the burning remains of the shack behind. He didn't know how he survived, perhaps luck, but he was hurting all over. He needs medical attention, and fast.
Yosef Pukachev is been searched by the Military Authorities, accused of been a dangerous spy and communist terrorist. If anyone has any information it will be recompensed with 1,500 San David Pesos.
