Ive been playing more modern day with rockets in space as defences but the recent ones were icbms from the ground. Any how the Empire would be glad to attend this meeting as we would like to solve this "dispute" with diplomacy rather then a full on war information on diplomats will be sent out and our ships are ready to stand down when orders come from command about 5 minutes beyond it. The information will be sent in once the meeting is confirmed to be happening. and orbital weapons was a bluff to attempt to force them to hold any attack off from our fleets.

Rockets cause the losses of Israeli ships in the medditeranean but thanks to our mining operations the area is still unpassable and our submarines hunt for enemy ships. One of our nuclear submarines launches a nuclear cruise missile at the north arkanan fleet and will try to destroy this fleet in the explosion. Foreign minister Noah Rhydon has also given statements to king north warning the king that nuclear action will be taken against his fleet in an invasion, and a separate statement saying that israel will not settle for peace.

OOC: I've been doing MT, with some bleeding edge modern, satellite warfare has consisted of shooting anti-satellite missiles at stuff, which has been a thing since the mid-late Cold War.

The single nuclear cruise missile fired against Arkanan Naval Defense Force vessels was detected by missile early warning satellites and patrol aircraft of the fleet, and was intercepted by aircraft from one of the carriers. The missile was successfully shot down without detonating the warhead, and investigation by a recovery team confirms the presence of an armed nuclear warhead.

OOC: Naval ABMs/ASATS currently go over 4500 m/s, while an air-launched missile from 1984 travels at over 6600 m/s. Interception of a Saturn V in mid flight along a low orbital path which would be used for going from West Africa to Israel/Eastern Mediterranean is entirely possible as there's no need to "chase" the orbital vehicle, just meet it in mid-flight. Being that the ranges required the use of air-launched systems, interception is virtually guaranteed.
Your claimed value of 10,000 km/h gives a speed of only 2777.777~ m/s anyway. So. RIP your rockets. They're dead.
