Fatimah Qasim arrives to the Council as the sole Persian representative. She decides that ideally, she should vote for an Acrenian to be President. However, if none of the Acrenian options are suitable, she will vote for an Oppermenian to be President as she liked their reconstruction plan.

She will also try to run for the Presidency only if foreigners are allowed to run, but she does not think she will win because it almost impossible for people to take the Persian government seriously.

Guy Fieri responds back, saying that the culture does not matter, because that territory rightfully belonged to America and was American territory and that it was stolen when America collapsed.

He says that the minimum amount he will accept is Ohio as it was his birthplace, California because it is where he grew up, and Maine because Flavortown was considered a part of Maine before America collapsed. He considers asking for New York as well, but if he asks for New York, they will definitely reject his request because New York City is economically important, so he does not ask for New York.

The WAU will not budge on considering Fieri’s claim legitimate. If he so wishes, he may move to South Acren and run for President himself and then Annex Flavortown. But, they will not simply give him Acrenese territories.
The once-American territories were not stolen. The Acrenese culture and ethnic group developed out of the once-Americans and the collapse of the USA. Then, they choose their own government. They did not steal it. Their ancestors lived and died there.

OOC: Something I feel I should mention - I do not support Fieri's claim and I think the Acrenians should govern themselves, but I am making Fieri claim it for two reasons:

• It is realistic. He is the Mayor of the last vestige of America, so it makes sense for him to claim that.
• It is ridiculous. Fieri is a cool guy, but he is too laid-back and cool to be President.

IC: Fieri is not sure what to do. If he continues fighting for control of America, the WAU will not budge because it will not benefit anyone and Flavortown is too small to be taken seriously. However, if he participates in the Acren Elections, it would mean that he has recognized that Acren will remain a distinct country. If he loses the election, not only will he not rule America, but he will have legitimized Acrenian control. If he wins, he will only have a short presidential term until a new one is elected. If he takes steps to make a monarchy, the WAU will become suspicious and attack.

Fieri is hopeless. He decides to wait until Willem comes. After negotiating peace between Persia and Mersdon, he will ask Willem for help in private. He does not want the Shah to know because the Shah supports Oppermenia's plan, which involves self-government for Acrenians, and this would make the peace talks go to waste.

Oppermenia sends a message to Guy Fieri pointing out to him that they don’t even recognize Flavortown as a sovereign state, let alone the successor to the USA.
They recognize Flavortown as an autonomous dependency of Dyllonia. So, Fieri’s claim is not recognized by any means.
Meanwhile, the WAU maintains their position. Guy Fieri’s claim to the Acrenese Presidency is illegitimate. The WAU, for that reason, shall not consider ceding any of the Acrenese territories to Flavortown.

Ic: Oppermenia sends in some Oppermenian representatives for the Federal Council of SA, and holds elections for Acrenese representatives. They bring Acrenese representatives into office after the elections.
They have also set up a Presidential election. Presidential candidates have been beginning their campaigns.

In Dyllonus Manor, Csaszar Rolo still tries to wrap his mind around his hallucination of tiny people living in a donut. Interrupting his thoughts is Haskil, "Evening Csaszar,"

"Evening," he replies
"Have you heard of that guy from 'Flavortown'?"
"Guy? Was that his name?"
"Yes, he believes he has a claim on all of South Acren,"
"Ah yes, I have heard. If you ask me I think the Oppermenians are putting to much attention on him. Opperman and Stein are only giving him exposure which Guy will use to his advantage" Rolo states.
"Yes, if they keep this up Flavortown might actually be a threat to the WAU, ; let us hope the Oppermenians ignore them."

[Dyllonia]

"Here we go," says PM Andy Rose before stepping onto the plane for the meeting in Bermuda with Rolo, "Let's get this over with."

The plane takes off and after a boring couple hours they arrive.

Leaders are seated at a meeting table. Meanwhile, the WAU Council prepares for this convention.

The Admiral walks in, flanked by his security team of Unit 46, MDS and SPP operatives. He takes a seat.

Ooc: so, he wants to be a President, which entails term limits, yet he doesn’t want to be replaced by a new President? That doesn’t make much sense, that would make his claim even less legitimate.

The Shahpur, who is already in Bermuda due to the previous meeting, enters the room and sits down. He asks if foreigners will be allowed to run for the Presidency of South Acren. He also asks if the elected President will be a true President or a provisional President. He states that he is asking these questions on behalf of Fatimah Qasim.

To protest the WAU decision, Fieri has a ship sail to the Statue of Liberty. When it docks, Flavortownians evacuate people off Liberty Island (without harming them) and then plant American Flags on the island (since Flavortown considers itself as the same legal entity as America, it still uses the American Flag). Eventually, Liberty Island is under the control of Flavortown. Fieri seized Liberty Island for the symbolic value, because Lady Liberty is quintessentially American and taking Liberty Island means Flavortown/America is regaining its glory and land.

While waiting for Emperor Willem in Fieri's mansion, the Shah finds out about Flavortown seizing the Statue of Liberty. He decides to stay low and neutral and see how the situation evolves.

But, it would be best to seat an Acrenian into office, so we can gain support of the Acrenians. The elected President will be a true President, but really all of this is just a way to launch SA’s government. It could change later depending on the Acrenians.”

In Liberty Island, some Acrenians that are still there put up the flag of Sorh Acren next to the American flag.

"What they thought is irrelevant. As part of rebuilding SA, we needed to demilitarize the country. I sent 5 battalions into the northern states to take over bases and help the people. They killed my men who came to help them and they faced the consequences. When things escalated I came down hard. I seized weapons that could be used against my soldiers and detained former SA troops, who posed a serious threat to my troops. The SA soldiers were released and returned to their families. My men only killed in self defence. They did not kill civilians in cold blood. When we went after the resistance groups we evacuated all civilians. Demilitarization was required and they resisted. I could have bombed the northern states but I decided to do things properly. Sure my methods can be brutal, by they are effective and minimize civilian casualties."

"Even if that may be," says the Chairman, "there were several human rights violations committed in the northern states. And, that's what we're here to discuss. Evaluate these actions, and see what penalty should be given. Anyone else wish to question him?"

" What human rights violations, the people of the northern states were given food, water, medical supplies and housing. Sure, a few protesters were killed, but only because they fired on my men with automatic weapons."

They felt they were defending themselves, and didn't know you were there to help. And then you kill them for trying to defend themselves against you, who they saw as attackers."

The Shahpur asks if they want the Persian investigation from earlier to be continued. The Shahpur had stopped it because the occupation ended, but he realizes that the investigators can be rehired and interview people who were at the scene.
