IC: The Imperial Government wishes to establish ties with Draos. As a sign of goodwill, we’ve sent over one of our heirs to the throne and are offering the use of Mersdonian bases and facilities until we believe it’s unnecessary.

Draosian V-23 Bombers launch a surprise raid on Oppermanson dropping their payloads close to the capitol building .
the High Chancellor strokes his chin "we will consider as of right now we have our hands full Blockading the Elkpack to prevent them breaking free.

Dyllonia maintains their position on Elkspack. They will continue to denounce them and their claim to the throne of Oppermenia. Dyllonia is in no position for war, but will take in any fugitives from Oppermenia.

OOC: Leaders like the new Premier Kevin, as well as Queen Julianna (wife of Mitchell), and Deputy Prime Minister Michael Stein. No Prime Minister, because he led the ElksPack uprising and conspired for the takeover of Oppermenia.
And Mersdon, how do you know there aren't any in your country? There could be a large chunk of your country that are ElksPack spies, that know how to hide well.

After hours of flying, Daryoush's airplanes arrive at Oppermenia. He lands his planes outside the capital so the ElkPack do not notice the Persia-Kebabistanis reaching people.

Throughout the day, they rescue civilians and get them on to the planes. They were able to rescue 500 citizens. Out of the 50 rescuers, 10 died in the process.

When the planes were full, they took off. Daryoush wanted to land them in London because it was close. This way, he could get them to safety and rescue more people.

OOC: As you can control what goes on in your country, I’ve ejected all Elkspack citizens and people linked to it. The Mersidonian Financial Authority has seized all Elkspack assets in reach, netting 46.8 billion Blue-Guldenmarks, which should severely curtail the ability of any possible spies taking detrimental actions against the state.

After an hour, the fleet of planes entered Dyllonian airspace. Instead of landing at London, he decided to land at Edinburgh, which was closer.

Once he was above the Edinburgh Airport, he requested permission to land in Dyllonia and said the planes had refugees from Oppermenia, many of which needed hospitalization. He wanted to quickly get them to a hospital in order to go back and rescue more people.

Mersdon offers the use of its battlefleet in the area to help evacuate some of Persia-Kebabistan’s refugees.

Two mint-new pocket battlecruisers, the HMMS Thresher and the HMMS Waukegan stationed on the Thames are currently available for evacuation. We’ve received two million refugees, mostly in Malaysia. We have room for 10 million more.

Many Oppermenian citizens are taken by other countries as refugees.
However, a sizable amount of them stay in Oppermenia, wishing to either submit or contribute to the resistance against the ElksPack.
The new leader of Oppermenia, or "Alpha", former Prime Minister Max Benham, gives a statement:
"For years, the ElksPack were forced into hiding. They are the foundation for this great nation. The foundation of this civilization. However, these governments forgot the ElksPack ways and got caught up in the new glory. And so, they drove us off the lands we had settled for hundreds of years. But now, we take it back. We are the true borns of Oppermenia! The true rulers! We are more legitimate, and the atrocities against Oppermanson citizens were just returning the favor. I am the True Born. I am not Max Benham. I am Maxwell True Born of House Omulus, and all I want is to see my people have a say. See my people given back what was taken to them."

The officer gladly agrees, he allows the fugitives to stay in the city and grants them Right to Asylum in Dyllonia

New Premier and King of Oppermenia, Kevin Opperman of House Opperman, basks in the sadness of his father's possible death. They all believe he is dead. He cries.
Meanwhile, behind closed doors in an abandoned warehouse in Oppermenia, Oppermenian citizens rally, starting their rebellion.
"We will take them out of power, and show everyone the truth!"
Then, a man ascends from the crowd. He takes of his hood.
"I heard you needed a hand," says the man. As people look at that face, they see none other than Mitchell Opperman.
OOC: You know what's funny? I got that from a Taco Bell commercial.

The glowing strobe lights of the oil and gas platforms in the North Sea were extinguished today, as a fleet of 25 minesweepers, frigates, and cutters landed Mersidonian Imperial Marines on the platforms to preempt a major naval attack by the Elkspack.

Now, there are 2,000 marines stationed on those rigs, and there is a constant source of fuel and energy for the Mersidonian intervention in Oppermenia. With the seizure of a Shell oil refinery in Shetland, we now had a safe supply of oil, a means to refine it, and a way to deliver it; significantly increasing the abilities of the Mersidonian Imperial Fleet and Air Force to conduct missions over the occupied patches of Oppermenia.

[Draos]

Draosian bombers and ships continue to harass the Elkspack with heavy fire while protecting resistance forces and give them a chance to fight another day.
OOC: I saw that commercial it's pretty terrible.

The HMMS Waukegan, tailed by the HMMS Thresher, are to depart immediately for Edinburgh. In conjunction, Air Mersdon’s fleet of A350s and 777s have been chartered by the Imperial Government for humanitarian flights from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands to Mersidonian airports. The flights shall be escorted by rotating wings of 6th Gen Benedict Fighters.
