Ujeong, Jeoguk

Unfortunately, the strategy Comm. Marcos had decided on minutes ago was already worthless. He was not aware that mortars were included in his enemy's arsenal of weaponry, which meant that his forces couldn't sit around picking off enemy soldiers. The casualty figures were already approaching past two dozen and were going to continue to go up, Marcos just wanted to reduce the rate. Quickly re-considering once again his strategy, he decided to return to going on the offense. He ordered his troops to push right up to the positions of the IDDF, to force the mortars to either stop firing on his men or risk friendly fire. In the fierce urban combat, the front-lines of both sides were right next to each other already so in effect he was basically ordering his reserve troops to come up. Against light technicals, the Indotsinans would prevail with use of AT and intense fire upon the gunners.

In the meantime, the helicopter which had disabled the cargo ship was returning from the mountains inland, presumably to finish off the cargo ship. This threat would not be tolerated again. The Indotsinan expected some form or aerial resistance and brought a limited number of MANPADs with them. Marcos had ordered all his reserves to move closer to the front line, but one soldier with a Verba missile decided he had a good enough shot. He locked onto the helicopter and took a shot at it, firing his missile.

On the ship itself, the howitzer crew was still firing back. Although the bridge was apparently inaccessible due to wreckage blocking the way in, and the ship was heading on a steady course into the harbor, at around five miles an hour (meaning the ship would crash into one of the docks or a beach in approximately two hours, given it was currently 11 miles out), they were determined to help all they could. The crews unloaded a new weapon. The Excalibur GPS-guided round, being very accurate, would be deployed to deliver accurate fire against the enemy at whatever coordinates radio operators gave.

Geonju, Jeoguk

Given the situation was going about as badly as in Ujeong, help in the form of thousands of Jeoguk troops and a strategic diversion would help the Indotsinans well. The only way into Geonju that the Indotsinans had taken lay between two large mountain ranges and the IDDF were making good use of the narrow mountain passes to move troops in. Though it was clear that the IDDF had a major investment in keeping Geonju, the Indotsinans weren't giving it back, and definitely wouldn't now that they had support.

To: All involved in the K-Pop War, specifically the the esteemed leaders of Pilipinas and Malaya, Jeoguk and the Anime Army
From: Ministry is Foreign Affairs; Islamic Republic of Huvadhu
Subject: Possible ceasefire

Greetings,

The Islamic Republic of Huvadhu has been monitoring the Great Asian K-Pop War from its inception as a K-pop uprising in Jeoguk, and we are extremely disturbed and shocked to see the great number of casualties caused during the conflict because of such a petty thing as a ban on K-pop culture. Huvadhu, as a neutral state, would like to step in to put a possible end to this conflict to reduce the amount of human lives lost.

As fellow orientals, we must not fight against eachother for such trivial things and instead put our arms against greater threats that may hinder cooperation between our great nations.

After a unanimous vote in the Huvadhi Parliment, we would like to extend our hands to all nations that have partaken in this conflict to meet in Hithadthoo, Huvadhu, a concerted oil rig now home to the Huvadhu government and several thousand people. We would like to hold talks in Hithadthoo as soon as possible. Preparations have been made at Addu Airport and a room in the Parliment House has been readied for the talks.

We thank you for your attention and hope that delegations can be sent to Hithadoo for the ceasefire talks as soon as possible to minimise the amount of lives lost in this conflict.

7 miles offshore Jeoguk, 10 miles from Ujeong

The KYMR Teuku Pahlawan, a Samuderan destroyer that doubles as one of the evacuation vessels and part of the nation's humanitarian convoy has just arrived at the war-torn country after 3 days of journey through the South China Sea. After the success of bilateral communication between the governments of Samudera Darussalam and Jeoguk, evacuation efforts have been underway, bringing home around 200 Samuderan nationals that have been trapped in the war fought between the IDDF, the Jeo government, and other belligerents. While the primary objective of the Samuderan government was to evacuate its own citizens and to deliver humanitarian aid to the nation of Jeoguk, the country also managed to help evacuates various nationals who tried to flee the war-ravaged country, including a significant amount of Jeo refugees. From the refugees, equally horror and heroic tales soon emerged, including the famous resistance of some workers from an anonymous foreign Asian restaurant, most likely Filipino.

Aboard the KYMR Teuku Pahlawan, a silent figure watched the evacuation efforts from the bridge. The silent figure, Lt. Ahmad Sharifuddin from the 2nd Naval Command, based in Bandar Aceh, is the supreme commander of Teuku Pahlawan. While he personally disliked the prospect of being sent to overwatch his nation's evacuation efforts far from his family back in Perlak, just several kilometers southwest of Bandar Aceh, he did acknowledge the importance of the mission. There is a contradiction though, as opposed to his disappointment, secretly he feels thrilled because this is his first mission overseas, which is like a golden apple ever since Samudera Darussalam adopted the policy of 'eternal neutrality'.

From his left side, he can see the evacuation helicopters flew back and forth from the deck aboard the nearby KYMR Puteri Zaenab, likely bringing more refugees aboard the aircraft carrier. The process has been smooth, for the time, eventhough the current location of the evacuation ships are not really far from the battleground in Ujeong. Thinking about Ujeong, he suddenly reminded about a special force team that is deployed to extract a Samuderan diplomat there who insisted on remaining behind to help organize the evacuation, but now trapped between the fighting between belligerent forces.
He hoped that the team's mission can be successfully executed.

Somewhere in Ujeong, Jeoguk

"Badak, this is Kancil. Please report the situation. Do you copy?"
"Copy, Kancil. There are heavy engangements between IDDF and Indotsina in this area. Recommend to take the other way."
"Copy that, Badak. Everyone, let's turn to that corner."

The Samuderan special force team, consisted of 5 members, has just arrived in Ujeong after several skirmishes at the outskirt of the city. Their mission, code-named 'Operation Buraq' after the famed creature that became the Prophet's (pbuh) transport during the Isra Mi'raj in traditional Muslim stories, was to extract Mr. Fachry Assegaf, the Samuderan ambassador, who has moved into Ujeong to help organize the plight of Samuderan and other nationalities after the government-ordered evacuation, but now get trapped in the Renaissance Hotel somewhere near the harbour after the fightings got near his location.

Near a half-destroyed coffee shop, the team regroup to check their position.
"Are you sure this is the right district?" A round-faced young man of twenties asked, pointing to a map in his comrade's hands.
"From the map of this city....yes. Just another two blocks through this street." An older, kind looking man nodded.
"Just get through with it. After this was over we can stay back at home and drinking Luwak* all we want." A stern female voice added, as a woman with green hijab, apparently the leader, suddenly stood up. "We have a mission to be accomplished."
The other members nodded in agreement.
"Now let's roll."

Notes:
*Luwak: a Samuderan slang used to call the civet coffee/kopi luwak.

OOC: If anyone asks why the 3rd Novayan Naval Fleet's referred to as 3rd Strike Force, go thank Stellaris for the Human Name Lists 2, which is more militant in terms of ground and naval units [minus ship and human names].

Sea of Japan

The Novayan aircraft carrier, Atlas, detected the missile and fired the CIWS' guns at it. "Sir! A missile came from a boat that is heading towards us! Permission to engage?!" said a Novayan Navy sailor to Rear Admiral Jonathan McMillan. "Engage that boat, no matter what," said Rear Admiral McMillan to the sailor, who nodded and had the communications officer relay the order. "And we're not taking any chances of another USS Cole," said the Rear Admiral to the crew. The Carrier Strike Group 1, particularly its 7th Destroyer Squadron, proceeded to open fire on the boat heading right for the aircraft carrier. Some Novayan marines and sailors soon joined to shoot the boat speeding for the Atlas until several precise shots from the destroyers NCS Black Plague, Harekaze, and Great Rose struck the boat, which caused the C4s laden on it causing a larger explosion. "Get me the Grand Marshal on the radio," said Rear Admiral McMillan to the communications officer, who then called the Grand Marshal and handed the radio to the Rear Admiral.

"Grand Marshal Borealis, we've been attacked by a boat where a missile was launched from. We'll have to return to the 3rd Strike Force; we do not wish to raise international tensions," Rear Admiral McMillan informed the Grand Marshal via radio. "Roger. You're permitted to return immediately. I'll be asking all parties who's trying to drag us into the conflict, so I'll see who bore responsible for it," replied Grand Marshal Borealis. "Thank you, Grand Marshal. Rear Admiral McMillan out," said Rear Admiral McMillan, who then barked, "Listen up! We'll be returning to the 3rd Fleet so that we will not raise international tensions. If any of you people wanted to cause trouble, you'll answer to me. Any questions?" No questions raised. "No? Good. Pull out!" shouted Rear Admiral McMillan. The 1st Carrier Strike Group began to turn around and head back for Novaya.

From: Government of the Novayan Commonwealth
To: All parties involved

To whom it may concern,

Carrier Strike Group 1's reported that they've been attacked by an unknown boat and a missile that's been launched from said boat. The guys at the Atlas reported that the boat caused a larger explosion when hit by the NCS Black Plague, suggesting said boat's laden with bombs. Which one of you people tried to attack us with a boat?

Novaya may be a military dictatorship, but that doesn't mean Novaya is going to war; we also do not wish to anger many nations by committing heavy handed actions. We cannot risk deploy peacekeepers or additional military units until we received a telegram from any one of the parties responsible.

Sincerely,
Borealis Norsoutha
Grand Marshal of the Novayan Commonwealth
Admiral of the Novayan Navy

The Virgin Islands suspects the anime army as they seem to have no problem fighting a undeclared war and or IDDF meanwhile the Virgin ships approach the harbor and planes are unloaded a total of 3000 meant for multiple offensives 2000 fighters 1000 bombers. another 10000 soldiers and 3000 tanks as well as 3 marine divisions arrive the same night North atlantic Super carrior battle squadrens come into view and virgin ships know its time to blockade Anime army ports to make sure the "Kawaiimmunist republic of jeoguk" doesnt stay around to much longer . The virgin ships start patrolling the sea of japan and notices a neutral ship firing a missile at another ship the flag it was flying was the flag of the IDDF Virgin missiles prepared to counter attack when the ship exploded the virgin islands didn't know whos ship it was until now. Virgin Ships used this as a excuse to patrol the entire sea of japan and state any ship that comes right at a virgin ship will be sunk regardless what nation its from.

Jeoguk promises that a delegation will be sent to Huvadhu provided the IDDF cooperate. Meanwhile, the IDDF has also agreed to participate in the negotiations.

Meanwhile online "evidence" surfaces that would accuse the IDDF of orchestrating the missile attack on the Novayan fleet.

In the Virgin Islands, the IDDF-supported opposition movement begin to try to raid arms depots or seize weapons from police and soldiers to start an uprising. Propaganda is distributed to try to convince army units to turn over to the supporters of democracy.

Jeoguk has agreed to draw up a treaty or ceasefire in the face of attacking powers elsewhere. I suggest to do so as you are following Jeoguk’s lead. They have agreed to meet in Hithadhoo. I suggest you do so also to iron out details.

Meanwhile,I will send neutral supplies and stocks to all sides in a more detailed post.

South of Formosa, AWACS detected large aircraft activity north of Luzon. Around a hundred Su-30s still in the area during the first attack unloaded 6 R-77 missiles towards the enemy aircraft. Totaling around 600 K-77 missiles heading straight towards the enemy aircraft from a distance of 190km away from the enemy aircrafr. An additional 100 S-400 missiles from Formosa were launched at 300km distance. Ground based jammers were jamming enemy EW aircraft as well.

When the enemy submarines surfaced for no reason, 10 Akula Classes and 10 Kilo classes launched all their torpedoes with a combined total of 120 Yu-6 torpedoes towards the enemy submarines when they were in range of 45km distance. Some of the enemy submarines managed to launch ballistic missiles, the Su-30s launched a total of 30 R-77s before the Ballistic missiles could gain any significant momentum.

AWACS confirmed an incoming enemy fleet together with aircraft and ships approaching south of Japan. The Su-30s launched a combined number of 1,200 K-77 missiles towards the enemy aircraft from a range of 190km. The young King Senjo has pressed selector button and ordered his secretary to call Supreme General Shin Sa Rim upon King's sacred eyes.
15 minutes later, servant opened the door, and big bulky man in military uniform appeared.
"You have called me , Your Majesty?"
"Yes."
General bowed, waiting for orders.
"I had heared ,what is happening in the fraternal nation of Jeoguk. You must put an end to that unrulliness and blasphemy. Anime bastards ought to be extinguished totally, send our troops NOW!"
"Yes ,my Liege!" Answered General and bowed again.
King dismissed him and wrote an edict , declaring war to the Anime Army, and then called by phone to the President Gong , offering him aid.
1st Northern Army, under command of Vice Marshal Pak Eun Sohl, marched to Jeoguk at 5PM next day. Now king could only wait.
