FSA after capturing a portion of the city with Israeli-American support

The armed combat had gone on for days with hours of gun fights and shelling by opposing forces on each other, as the Americans began sending more and more forces it made the fight easier for the FSA that was used to fighting much harsher battles with much less support. This was the first major FSA gain in months and just weeks after a devastating defeat in this very region all whilst coinciding with a Khataiyi military operation in northern Syria to end Iran's presence in Syria and to ultimately unite the Syrian opposition. The Khataiyi government was also working on sending recently purchased arms to rebels in the South to re-spark the war in that part of the country.

The Office of the Mcnernian Attache to the Israeli Defense Force was in a wing of the Mcnernian Embassy that loomed over Tel Avivs Embassy row. The Mcnernians valued the relationship between the State of Israel and the Mcnernian Kingdom. Mcnernian Jews had lived in Israel. Mercinaries had come and fought in the 1948 war. Gilad Metz was a pro-Mcnernian Prime Minister who wanted to have collaboration on Trade and Security as the Syrian War was grinding on and on. And now the IDF called on Mcnernian Assistance.

“Alright Colonel, that was the Air Force, they have bombers in Aviano…so the Americans on the ground and us in the air. And the Inyurstyans sending a fleet to Bashriyya.”

“That SACTO has done wonders for Israel, the Jewish people and the world cannot be underestimated.” Said the Israeli soldier. The Colonel of the IDF was a liaison to the Embassy looked at the Brigadier General of Intelligence. The McNernians were present as with Inyurstya who had launched a mission from the Negev intending to attack the Bashriyyan Homeland.

The Golan War
The Soviets were upset with the negotiations breaking down. At least at face value. Of course, though the SIS in its transmissions to the Syrian Rebels would warn them that the Communists that were running the situation in Damascaus and Moscow were not above tricks. The Syrian Army would be caught flat footed in its bid to secure the border. The battle of Madinat al-Baath was going to suck up a lot of the Syrian Army.

The Mcnernian Attaché would repeat the warning to the Americans.
“With the Soviets in Syria even with the Kurds and others holding the line I reckon we will have a problem.”

This was seconded by the Turkish attaché in Tel Aviv who said that the Turkish Armed Forces were ready to handle an escalation of the Crisis but as of this moment it was mostly the Syrians on the Golan. The Mcnernians were rumored to have something in the works to deal with the incursion. But as of the now it was on the Israeli Air Force.

The Israelis launched four F-16I interceptors from air bases in the north of the country. The standing order was that the Syrians were to be driven from the airspace over the Golan. Ground control would direct them to the target.

When the pilots were in range of the Syrians that were strafing and bombing the rebels. It seemed that they had been thinned out by the primitive Air Defense that the Rebels could muster. But now the Israelis were arriving en Masse. In the air and on the ground.
The F-16s would fire into the Syrians as the AWACS had detected them and the Syrians were turning to the foe to fight.
“Incoming, Incoming.” The F-16s evaded desperately, the battle was raging in the sky. But on the ground, it was just as gory.
IDF tanks roared forward in support of the rebels, the IDF never abandoned its allies and the Border of Syria was a hot zone. The Nahal brigade was quite professional and thye would not allow the Syrians to advance. The mechanized infantry had plenty of artillery. This was unleashed onto the Syrians. And that provokved the arrival of the Mi-35s. The helicopters roarded towards the Israelis and the IAF was expected to resolve it.
In a moral burster surely the Syrians thought the S-300VMs assigned to the southern area of the Air Defence network went active as F-16s, the second squadron that was deployed to the north came in on a run against the helicopters. The soldiers of the IDF used stingers and the Spider ADS to help clear the skies and the Air Force was on the attack again soon enough. 101 Squadron was tasked with the mission.

The Four F-35s had been configured to take down air defense networks and as the premier pilots in Israel the One Hundred and First squadron sporting their winged skull emblems meant that they would be the best and the soldiers of the IDF in the Air Force trained well for the operation.

“Alright you know the tasking, we have to take down the ADS.”

“Weapons away.” The bombs left the bays of the four aircraft, eliminating a station. The big machine was not able to detect the fighter bombers. And the jamming in the face of management of the combat zone. The Israeli offensive had Mcnernian intelligence support, satellites and cyber warfare targeting the Syrian Air Defense Grid and the other military networks.

The Israelis would come back to base with two of the airplanes in the flight damaged and the pilot feeling confident as the battle was turning in the favor of the Rebels and Israel and America with the Syrians retreating as the IAF rose to the fighting of the SyAAF. Victory would go to the Western bloc. Victory to the people of Syrian in their fight against the Communists.

Bashriyyan air-base 200km from the Hatay Border

"Alright men its showtime" the assault had begun on the Ayesha nuclear facility which had been run by the New Yamans for sometime. The plan was to kill or capture every New Yaman scientist. The Bashriyyan military convoy had taken off from a medium sized base near the facility, they had been monitoring communications between the facility and the New Yaman embassy for years and should the New Yamans attempt to betray Bashriyya a special unit was to be dispatched to put an end to anything viewed as betrayal.

500 Commandos had been deployed around the area, a group of 100 split off to block off the roads, while tanks and rocket artillery would surround the facility. The goal was simple prevent the New Yamans from being able to leave and cut them off, arrest any who surrender and kill any stragglers.

An emergency siren went off at the airport, dozens of armed men in typical Bashriyyan military uniform stood in front of the hanger with their assault rifles aimed. A small jeep drove up and a man came out with a megaphone "No escape for you, surrender now Gorsas!" above an Mi-28 attack helicopter would encircle the area.

FSA taking final positions in the battle

The Free Syrian Army units taking part in the battle for Madinat al-Baath had been able to strike, capture and hold many points with the fighting between Syrian and Israeli and American forces allowing the FSA to take advantage of their distraction and Khataiy airdropping weapons from an airbase in Jordan made things a lot easier, and Khataiyi officials were also able to give satellite intel to the FSA in Southern Syria with exiled Syrians meeting Khataiyi officials in Jordan and delivering them back to Syria, the momentum of the fight was seemingly going well in the way of the Free Syrian Army so much so the main FSA group involved 'The Knights of Golan' released a statement proclaiming their victory,

An official Presidential Message from Omar al Sadr

"Today I am giving an emergency press meeting, since we have begun retaliatory strikes against Inyurstan imperialists in neighboring Hatay. Now we would like to address that we will use our sarin gas weapons since we have evidence that Inyursta has been dropping sarin gas on civilians in towns at the border so our response will be swift. As soon as this announcement was made, JG.52, equipped with F-22As and F-23s, began the final preparations for out-of-country deployment. Aside from their fighters, JG.52 had an AWACS and tanker squadron attached to each frontline combat group, as well as various support and maintenance group. The Fallschirmjäger-Brigade Ramcke would be deployed as well. The Bashriyyans were informed of this deployment, and were asked to prepare their facilities to receive reinforcements.

Other units were being prepared for deployment - the mean estimates state that a naval task force, some interceptor, strike and CAS wings, and several divisions of paratroopers, crack light infantry and elite tankers were being prepared, in case of a full-scale attack by the Inyurstanis against Bashriyya. Bombers also began prepping to launch strikes against Inyursta.

Embedded within the paratrooper brigade was Einsatzkommando 0 (Task Force 0; literally Operational Command A), a battalion-sized group of special forces. Each company was under a cover designation, and assigned to each of Fallschirmjäger-Brigade Ramcke's battalions as one of their paratrooper companies on paper. Their ultimate mission was to free Nashid from captivity. This operation, known as Unternehmen Eiche to the few who know of it, would be launched when the time is right, but would be a nonentity for all intents and purposes, for the time being.

Later since the battle of Madinat Al-Baath, the losses weren't too bad. They were light because of Americans taking advantage of their armored equipment so far and shelling support as well as air support from A-10s and more air support from the Israelis, it was quick and too much blood hasn't been shattered for the Americans, but for the FSA or others maybe it was quite bloody. They distracted the Syrian forces, focusing most their of RPG and SAM fire on the Americans while the FSA and Israeli forces could strike at them, it was great coordination between the three.
They have lost 7 M1126 vehicles as well as, 2 Apaches and at least 10 soldiers, with 4 wounded.
They have decided to set up an HQ in the newly captured Madinat Al-Baath, it was strategically located, it had space between the capital and the city. They need to get more armor as later on more cities will be more well equipped. They have decided to call in at least 110 M1A2 Abrams tanks and 15 F-15E Strike Eagles and 15 F-22As and more helicopters, 10 Apaches with 10 Vipers as well as 25 Black Hawk Helicopters delivered from USA to Europe and then to NATO bases in Turkey, so it can be brought to Israel through and then arriving in the Golan, they also need to take out airbases and SAM sites in Syria to continue advancing forward to Damascus.
It would take at least an estimated 40 days for them to arrive.
They had to advance further to the Syrian mainland, Damascus was the target and it was not too far. They had enough support for taking the region but they needed to bring in the air support and the armor support to advance further, they felt like as deeper they advance, the better equipped the enemies are, the more SAM sites to take out, the more strategic locations to take out, the bigger the logistical burden, Damascus was not too far and they need to liberate it from Bashar's violent rule.

Ayesha, Bashriyya, En Route to GL-2 Site

The convoy of New Yaman Ministry Troops screeched around city corners, avoiding police and military checkpoints and out of the city toward the GL-2 site. The white armored SUVs and vans trucked along the highway reflecting the midday sun's light off of the paint. Buildings gave way to breezy palm trees and white sands, green patches of grass and reeds dotted the area around the black asphalt of the normally packed highway. Captain Sigal sat in the rear passenger seat of one of the armored SUVs locked, loaded and prepared for whatever was gonna try to stop him. Sigal reached under his seat to pull out a small quadrotor UAV and a thick military-grade laptop. The Captain rolled down the window and started the UAV's program. The quadrotor flew out of Sigal's hand and up into the air with the simple key prompt, the drone's camera turned on. The convoy now had an eye in the sky. Sigal manuvered it higher into the air ahead of the convoy. He spotted a few clouds of dust headed the same way they were going toward the facility. The UAV's camera stabilized and zoomed in. Sigal cursed under his breath as he saw several Bashriyyan Army tanks headed toward GL-2. Captain Sigal opened up a secure channel with the Embassy:
"CP, CP, this is Rhodes 1-2 be advised that we've spotted Bashriyyan Army MBTs headed toward RV. CoA?"

"Rhodes 1-2 this is CP. Continue on present course. Go offroad to avoid enemy contact if need be. CP out."

Sigal called up to the driver and told him to get off of the highway. The convoy started to pick up dust and gravel as it drove off of the highway and started to take an alternate route toward GL-2. The Ministry Troops in the convoy started loading and checking their rifles, expecting a fight along the way.

Bashriyyan Nuclear Facility: GL-2, 25 Km from Ayesha

The 22 New Yaman Nuclear scientists crowded around in the administrative offices as they watched the Bashriyyan army close in from the windows. The small GL-2 nuclear facility was tasked with the assembly of the weapons, and was moderately guarded by New Yaman security troops numbering a bit smaller than the staff of scientists at around 18. They wouldn't be a chance against the force that was gathering outside. They didn't need to fight. Doctor Yali Besis, chief administrator of the facility rushed his colleagues down to the assembly floor and told them to start arming their latest assembled bomb. He was gonna try to barter with the Bashriyyan army, using the bomb as insurance. The group of scientists were shocked but given the circumstances, maybe Besis' plan to barter could work.
The staff almost finished arming the bomb before Besis then ordered that it also be put on a timer. Twenty minutes before detonation. "...might as well put it on a detonator too.." Besis mentioned to the strained group. He gave the detonation trigger to one of the guards, and told him if he heard shots fired or if he yelled the codeword, to detonate the bomb. It seemed that the doctor was suicidal but he explained that it would be further insurance for them.
Doctor Besis waived his security back to guard the bomb and the scientists, taking one guard with him out of the facility to parley with whatever commander was out there. He grabbed a megaphone on the way out the door and started out in English. "Hello Bashriyyan brothers! We wish to speak with you! Please send your highest ranked officer to parley with me and my men."

New Yaman Embassy, Ayesha, Bashriyya

Within the well-defended embassy, the Ambassador was still in his office on the phone with Quardya himself, browsing through classified documents regarding the nuclear weapons schematics that New Yama developed for Bashriyya to use. "...You're actually implying that we go through with it?"

Quardya's voice strained over the phone. "Yes. I think we all expected an incident with Bashriyya, even when developing their arsenal for them. I just wish it didn't have to happen so soon. Damned Nasheed."

The Ambassador took out an optical disk and put it in his computer. A program started up with a simple command prompt screen. "It's on. Is command in Nosamo ready?"

After a pause Quardya said: "It's been ready."

The Ambassador entered in a simple command prompt.

Simultaneously in Nosamo, the Ministry of State Security's Cyberwarfare Sector was quick at work gaining control of Bashriyya's nuclear weapons through the program initiated by the Ambassador as well as intentionally faulty gateways and backdoors designed into the Bashriyyan nuclear control system by the New Yaman aid. Within the course of minutes, Bashriyya's deployable nuclear warheads were under New Yaman control. The Ambassador's program was the connection between Nosamo and the warheads. Al-Sadr sat casually at his office desk in the underground bunker as if he was taking none of the events going on around him seriously. While military staff were panicking all around him he sat casually. "Sir a phone call from the New Yaman President." Al-Sadr laughed "Bring the phone here."

Al-Sadr began to speak "Quedara is that you?" he began laughing out of place as if it were just a joke, "Thank you for all your help in developing nuclear weapons, our men are already surrounding your facilities. We have even already begun disseminating some of the suitcase nukes you helped us develop throughout the world, our cells are prepared to detonate them in major cities across the world if our demands are not met and you will be one of the people blamed for the fiery judgement of Allah. This is all because I am defending this nation against the greedy jews of Inyursta even after we exiled Nashid the infidel continues their war of unrighteousness."

Bashriyyan Nuclear Facility: GL-2, 25 Km from Ayesha

The Bashriyyan troops aimed their weapons at the windows of the facility, looking above at the building as they heard the announcement from the megaphone the highest ranking officer present was called forth Colonel Amir Sayef. He walked up with two of his men behind him guarding him to the facility "I am Colonel Amir Sayef, you wished to speak with me?" he realized that the presence of the two shotgun wielding guards would intimidate the scientists but he looked at their eyes. Central Mediterranean Sea; ~200km East of Ayesha

Now approaching striking range, the flight of EF-20 Crotaléa's out of Israel dropped below radar horizon, coming below the dissipating cloud layer above the Mediterranean Sea. Their F-22M escorts kept a high operating altitude, although the eight stealth fighters broke into four pairs of two to minimize radar detection and expand their own search radius as they covered the strike fighters in their final attack run.
Cruising at maybe 50m above the ocean, the EF-20's unleashed their payload against remaining air fields in Bashriyya. Per each aircraft, two AGM-158 JASSM-ER cruise missiles were launched alongside two MALD-J decoys per pair of cruise missiles. The addition of the radar decoys, in this case programmed to mimic the speed and flight profiles of the JASSM (although remaining a less stealthy and more appealing radar target to increase chances of being targeted rather than the true warheads) would make interception and tracking of the warheads much more complicated and acted as a significant force-multiplier in the opening hours of the air war against Bashriyya.

With their payload empty, and external fuel tanks depleted, the EF-20's turned back and made for the safety of the Eastern Mediterranean where they would link up with tanker aircraft. Because of their more fuel-efficient design and the fact they had remained at an energetically favorable high altitude, while the Crotaléa's had dropped low, the Mussurana's had more time to loiter a bit longer and cover the retreat of the strike fighters before they too would have to retreat eastward.

West Mediterranean Sea; ~215km Northwest of Tunis

Around the same time the flight from Israel was continuing to attack and put pressure on the Bashriyyan air force's ability to operate, a pack of four BFM-60 stealth bombers which had come in from the Atlantic were moving in to hit their navy's capacity to function. Keeping a high altitude the whole flight, the bombers dropped their payloads at about 200km to the northwest of the Bashriyyan coastline, sending forty cruise missiles flying towards enemy port facilities.

Targets included dry docks, oil & gas facilities, ammunition depots, cranes and other loading/unloading devices and when possible infrastructure targets of opportunity. Rather than waste weaponry trying to shoot at small targets which comprised the majority of Bashriyya's navy, the Inyurstan Air Force would instead hit their support facilities and give them no safe space to refuel and rearm once they get locked into combat.

Hatay - Bashriyyan Border

"Come on, come on!" 2Lt. Aronado murmured to himself, off the radio as he waited for the Bashriyyan response.
"We got activity, SAM's coming online!" Lt. Col. Beaugado, the flight lead warned over the radio.
"Alright Little Fish, show these guys what's up!" 1Lt. Ourio-Reyes, the pilot of Aronado's EF-20 spoke to him over an inter-aircraft line.
"Roger that, picking 'em up now!" He replied, using the aircraft's Sevât-M Counter Emissions System to try and gauge distance and direction of the enemy SAM's targeting them, before uploading the data to the aircraft's missile systems.

The entire flight then pitched evasive maneuvers as soon as the enemy radar began targeting. Twelve of the twenty-four aircraft in the flight were carrying a pair of MALD-J decoys - this time programmed to mimic the RCS signature and flight profile of the EF-20's - which they deployed, effectively turning the number of targets for the enemy from twenty-four to forty-eight. In tandem with the decoys, the live aircraft began a tactic the Inyurstan's called "Spiderwebbing", maneuvering in zig-zag patterns, sometimes crossing with the MALD-J's and sometimes coming close to, but breaking away at the last moment. This intense flight-wide maneuver would make it extremely hard for the Bashriyyan SAM operators to accurately pick out the live aircraft from the decoys.

Magnum 1 & 2 Hot and Ready! He said, alerting his pilot that the AGM-88E AARGM anti-radiation missiles were armed and had a target locked. The aircraft let loose its ordinance, sending the missiles racing towards Bashriyyan SAM's which had also targeted their own aircraft. As the incoming Nijonese missiles raced into the sky, the Crotaléa's LIDACS-III Counter-Measure Suite kicked in, automatically activating defensive DRFM, flooding the weapons' onboard computers with dozens of false targets - ensuring that both human operator and missile software were stuck picking straws from a hat. Still, despite the impressive efforts of all aircraft involved with the SEAD mission, one EF-20 was hit by an incoming SAM - its pilot and copilot both ejecting somewhere over the border - and a second found itself damaged by an explosion via proximity fuse, and was forced to return to base.

To complicate matters further, the two E-130Y-J Coquí electronic warfare aircraft began offensive barrage jamming against the enemy air defenses. Their hefty airborne interference load broadcasted malicious and disruptive signals across multiple frequencies - primarily targeting those that the Nijonese Type-7 were known to operate (information given to them by the Nijonese themselves).

As both AWEC&S and fighter radar cover picked up the flight of outbound Su-22's headed towards Hatay. Given the limited utility of the Su-22 (or another other likely craft with such a radar signature), it was perceived by the Inyurstan operational command that the flight had a high probability of being a decoy or bait force. Still, no competent commander would let twelve enemy aircraft slip around his or her line's without an interception attempt; and as such two of the EF-20 Crotaléa's which were armed entirely for air-to-air were diverted to handle the enemy Su-22's. Shortly after breaking off and raising altitude, the pair let out at combined 6 C-120M2 Rapier BVRAAM's at around 100km away from the enemy aircraft. If the C-120M2's made it within terminal range of the enemy aircraft, their additional IR seeker would supplement the radar guidance and give them resistance to most close-range counter-measures designed to thwart radar-guided BVRAAM's.

Bashriyya, Saharan Flank

With the Bashriyyan Arab Air Force apparently in a state of suspended response, the two Jararacussu stealth bombers approaching from the Saharan Desert moved north to complete their final attack pass. As they both vectored towards Ayesha, they received a one-way satellite transmission directing one of the aircraft to new targets. One of the aircraft broke its path, meandering to put itself on course to hit the source of what little response the Bashriyyans had put up. The copilot dialed in the targeting information, which was passed from aircraft to warhead, and within a minute the bomb was armed with a new GPS target.

Approximately 130km from Jahannam Air Base the bomber with the new target dipped its nose down, losing an insignificant amount of altitude but giving its bottom section some level of shielding from radar ahead of them. The bomb bay doors came open just long enough to ensure that the munition left the bay, and then closed back up again before the aircraft leveled itself and began vectoring towards Hatayan air space. The first RPBG-13K-Nu, "Azrael", glided steady for a few moments then its rocket booster kicked in, sending it headed straight towards the underground complex. This never-yet deployed in combat weapon was a modification of the PBG-13K, a 5,900kg (13,000lb) Inyurstan counter-part to the Yanqui Massive Ordinance Penetrator; it was designed to embed itself deep within soil or concrete and explode when either the warhead sensor encountered an open pocket of air underground, or when the warhead's speed hit zero - and in this case the warhead of choice was a low-yield 10kt nuclear device - an underground explosion would limit the radioactive fallout on the surface to just within a few dozen meters if even, while sending shockwaves of seismic energy and destroying any sub-subterranean facilities nearby.

Inyurstan high command had initially planned for one of the bombs to be dropped on the presidential palace - considering Nashid was still in power just hours earlier when the planes were launched. Al-Sadr had done little to meet their demands, including refusing to hand over Nashid (dead or alive) or issue a complete unconditional surrender to Israel and its allies, as well as attempt to rile the marxists and communists of the world against Inyursta (not that marxists and communists loved Inyursta to begin with). However, while there would be extreme strategic value in wiping Al-Sadr's smug, overconfident ass from the face of the planet and most his trusted generals with him, there was no guarantee an attack on the presidential palace would yield those results - meanwhile to knock out Jahannam Air Base would be a major blow in winning the air war early on.

The second Jararacussu bomber approached the capital, this time about 150km from what the Inyurstans, with help from Nijonese intelligence, had guestimated was the Bashriyyan-New Yaman nuclear facility. Like its twin brother striking Jahannam, it dipped its nose to minimize radar exposure of the bomb bay doors and out came "Alfonso", the second RPBG-13K-Nu. Somewhere thousands of miles away, NIS officers and military intelligence techs were biting their nails hoping that their best guesses were right and this target was in fact GL-2, but here over North Africa the pilot and copilot were more concerned with making it to friendly air space than what their payload was about to obliterate...

A seemingly basic concept, yet one that few could truly comprehend. Pressure applied instantly, wantonly and direct was just force, akin to trying to pin someone to a wall with a cannonball. Three of such ships were designed to look like, act like and in a matter of speaking ultimately be research vessels. These small to medium-sized vessels did not bear any insignia tying them to Inyursta, rather environmental NGO's funded by infinite running lists of shell corporations and even some real corporations and donors who thought they were funding marine biology work.
From below the surface, an additional two Type-64 "Neige Tiburo" (Black Shark) SSN's were also set on a slow and steady bearing for the waters between Spain and Morocco, hoping to increase the presence of Inyursta's hunter-killers in the otherwise closed waters of the Mediterranean.

A small force of Khataiyi soldiers was selected for the operation to protect a handful of oilfields and refineries, the men selected were transported by a cargo plane along with several ZU-23s usually used by the Khataiyi army for technicals, the military also brought a few utility trucks 2 F-350s and 4 Toyota Sequoias. After arriving in Bashriyya and meeting Bashri forces a small briefing was held and soon after the deployment to the oil sites was underway with convoys of men and trucks driving out to the areas, and after arriving work began immediately to set up air defenses.

Jahannam airbase~350km from the Hatay Border

The destruction of Janannam airbase was swift, part of the mountain and scores of barracks had been destroyed by the Inyurstan bomb. As well as dozens of houses. There were tunnels that were entirely destroyed, decimated artillery guns, trees ripped from the earth, most of the aircraft had been disabled and about 100 personnel were killed or severely wounded.

The aftermath at the port facility has severely crippled military capabilities in Tunisia, which ideally could allow for Tunisia to declare independence from Bashriyya if any other troops were to move in to kick the Bashriyyans out. The port facilities were on fire, hundreds of men killed, and thousands of pieces of equipment destroyed, refueling would be a lot harder now.

A silent strike was about to begin, as the French went about their daily business, everything seemed calm they were eating their baguettes and drinking their coffee. Talking in their funny accents, living life and were having just the usual day of the average French person. However this day was no usual day as it was about to be for many their last day. The Bashriyyan air force was being wiped out, and something decisive had to be done for the future of the country, Al-Sadr kept thinking to himself, most of the other Generals had fled to the mosque with plans to use the Mosque as a cover for operations. Al-Sadr sat holding the phone with Quydara discussing the New Yaman scientists however as he looked at the tv a mushroom cloud in Paris, he had been drinking profusely although Alcohol was forbidden in Islam it was not uncommon for hypocrisy to occur especially amongst the Bashriyyan military elite. Al-Sadr sat down looking at the phone in his hand, he turned off the phone. However all of a sudden It was as if an epiphany had occurred he suddenly had begun to repent, he stood up amongst the other Generals "We are handing Nashid over!" he said, "It was me refusing to hand him over that put us all in danger, pride nearly has killed us!". Colonel Khalif was angered "What? You can't be serious?" he raged "Yes, Colonel we are not letting one man destroy an entire country. Drive him up to the border with Hatay we will turn him over to the authorities. He is a fugitive, a terrorist and a war criminal and he.. "

Khalif raged "He is also the one who liberated this country from Bolshevism!" Sadr said "And nearly sold us out to the Iranians? Are you stupid, Nashid was just a man, a flawed sinful and wicked man. Sometimes I wonder if, if we are just all that way, but either way we need to turn Nashid in." Khalif pulled out his Walther P38 until Al-Sadr shot Khalif being the quickest draw with his CZ-75. Soon later after an emergency broadcast was then televised, announcing the turning over of Nashid.

"As of today, we are handing over General Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid over to the Inyurstan forces, we also ask any of Nashid's loyalist troops to stand down and to not intervene in the arresting process or you will be eliminated. General Nashid will be driven by convoy over to the border with an American and Bashriyyan escort. Our diplomatic team in America has been speaking with President Trump to accomplish this.

Now as to the Suitcase nuke used recently in Paris, General Nashid upon being interrogated by us has confessed that he has information on the bombing in Paris. A convoy was sent toward the Bashriyyan-Hatay border, Nashid sat in the back of the van handcuffed he sighed, yet in his head it was as if he knew it had to be done. "The Most High one who installed my leadership, I rejected him and so he gave me up to my own devices." A brief public announcement was later made announcing handing Nashid over. The convoy had both US and Bashriyyan official present, Nashid did not feel betrayed in fact he felt as if he deserved what ever was to come next. A Message was sent to the Hatayan border police and the Inyurstan military in the area, earlier that same day 12 Su-22 fighter planes had been shot down by Inyurstan fighters and the ruins of the planes could be seen in the desert sands.

Nashid looked out the window of the vehicle seeing the burnt fighter jet ruins and smelling the burnt remains. All in all Bashriyya had lost half of its airforce for Nashid and wasted millions on a war against a way smaller country that ironically could never be won almost as if the victory was not even for Nashid to have.

Ten Motorized Rifle Divisions are closing in between the border between Qadibiyya and Bashria. They approached the so-called Jafar wall which signifies the border that divides both countries. Just recently, 2 terrorist attacks took place, and a Somalian Islamist group took responsibility. To the average Joe, this explanation was perfectly acceptable. However, to those with a bit more knowledge, this incident was very suspicious. However, the more knowledgeable have to react to immediate concerns, like the civil defense of Germany, possible breakdown of law and order in neighboring France, and other fallout from recent events. A state of emergency was declared, the national civil defense organization began preparations on dealing with fallout.

One of these knowledgeable men is Reich Defense Minister Kurt von Seekt. As much as he would like to devote himself to the appropriate response to the forces behind the curtain, he had to deal with the fallout first.

Heeresgruppe Afrika began flying in their own area air defenses, mostly MEADS-equipped units.

Aside from air defenses, ground troops under the Panzerarmee Afrika were flown in, starting with the 21. Panzerdivision of the Afrika Korps. To handle the increased workload, a number of transport wings were transferred from Germany, and the Kriegsmarine command in the Mediterranean created convoys using its fast sealift ships, escorted by F124 and F125-class frigates and shadowed by Type 212 and Type 218 submarines, to rush in troops from Italian ports. However, other naval units would remain in La Spezia and Taranto.

The air forces in Bashriyya were reorganized, with JG.52, JG.54 and their supporting units being grouped under a new formation designated the LXXXVIII. Fliegerkorps.

Sheets of rain poured over the flat marshlands from the endless plains of billowing black clouds and the relentless wolflike howling of the winds rattled the thin window panes of the Hrythwalda’s summer cottage up in the coastal fenlands of The Ashwold: his Earldom. Whilst the grim weather had scuppered his plans to shoot waterfowl he took pleasure in sitting next to a blazing logfire with a small mug of mint and nettle tea watching the wetlands come alive. For whilst mankind generally sought refuge from the savage heavenborn deluge most other animals delighted in it. A tall and slender grey heron capitalised on the excited fish darting in and out of the water and from his perch of a fallen willow tree had himself quite feast of minnows and freshwater eels. A large otter was enjoying frog on the muddy banks of the nearby pond, himself watching all sorts of waterbirds such as coots, ducks and drakes splash about in the reedy waters. The Hrythwalda, taking his pipe, added to the end a small heap of tobacco and promptly lit it before reclining in the leather armchair.
There was a knock at the door of his small but ornate office.
“Come in.”
A young man, in a greyish tweed jacket and burgundy cords traipsed in nervously: he knew the Hrythwalda didn’t like being disturbed during his ‘country retreats.’
“My Lord, the Foreign Secretary Cardinal Gósaxa is here to see you. He said it is regarding the conflict in the Middle East..”
The Hrythwalda shot his head to face the entering aide.
“You what? The Middle East? Excuse me, when isn’t there a bloody conflict in the.. oh just send him in.”
The Hrythwalda exhaled gruffly; Hrythingia was a mostly quiet and sleepy nation, it’s people viewed most foreigners at best as peculiar distant tribes and at best as ‘orcenfolc’. The Middle East with its sand dunes, ban on alcohol, volatile populations and Islam was a world away from the merry green and Christian shires of Hrythingia -it had always been considered wise to stay away.
The oak door swung open to reveal an elderly man in black priestly robes with a purple sash round the waist and clutching a few files.
“My Lord, I hope you are well, shame about this horrendous weather. Alas, God must water his garden.” Exclaimed the Cardinal, bowing to the sedentary Hrythwalda who’s initial response was only to puff a cloud of smoke out of his mouth.
“And from what I hear Cardinal, you would have us pry into a land that God rarely waters...? Please, have a seat.” The Hrythwalda replied with a raised eyebrow, gesturing for the aged clergyman to be seated: which he did.
“Tea?”
“Thank you my lord.”
The Hrythwalda rang a small handbell and when the aide reappeared requested another mint and nettle tea.
“My Lord, the humanitarian situation in that part of the world is simply appalling. Fear not, I am not suggesting deploying troops -you and I both know that is largely out of the question unless the rest of the Marian Covenant joins us since we just do not have the power projection assets. But as you told the Folcġemot (Parliament) for its official opening this year we would be seeking to apply more soft power...” the Cardinal began. The Hrythwalda mused with furrowed brows.
“That whole place is a right shitho- it’s a squalid mess of religions and oil and it’s a crudding graveyard for soldiers. I don’t want to see Hrythingas dying out in those fruitless sands. It’s not our fight and there’s nothing to gain from it.” He growled, watching intently as the embers in his pipe glowed.
“No My Lord, my plan was to send a medical mission from the Bóðentún Monastery: it is a very wealthy monastery and runs one of the finest hospitals and medical colleges in this country. The cost to the taxpayer will be minimum but our reputation abroad will increase.. exponentially. We will send them into the heart of the conflict, to treat both Jew and Mohammedan.”
The door opened and a servant carrying a silver tray entered and placed it on the low polished oak table before them, with a small china teapot, a china cup and saucer with a pot of amber honey to sweeten the tea if he so wished.

Bóðentún (Bothenton) Monastery, Earldom of Clúdlond, Hrythingia
A slow chime of a chapel bell rung over the large stone complex on the outskirts of Múslehýð (Musslehuthe). It was time for evening prayers and the plainchant of the monks echoed solemnly out from the chapel in which the monastery had mostly gathered: nuns and monks for the most part. Bothenton was an almost sprawling estate with hundreds of acres of prime agricultural land where it grew wheat for beer and raised herds of cattle for milk, cheese and beef. It’s orchards grew an all manner of fruits but mainly plums, apples and bears. It ran beehives for honey to make mead and had coups of quail and ducks for eggs. A large hospital was also on site: indeed a private one like most in Hrythingia but it was a charitable organisation and helped who it could. The monks worked the farming land and ran much of the religious life whilst the nuns managed the hospital and college. There was a soothing calm to the monotone Latin liturgical music with the odd organ cord to keep the tuning.

Abbot Ċeolmund, having finished the evensong service made his way through the winding and cold corridors of the monastery: whose priory was built in 405 AD by Rothian missionaries and had remained ever since. The Abbot had been asked to send one of his quick reaction teams to Israel and he had prepared a brief talk to send them on their way. He came to a small classroom, dimly lit with a chalkboard, rows of individual desks filled with mostly youthful faces of junior doctors, nun nurses, priests and a few monks.
“Thank you for coming here at this late hour, I know you are busy packing... I just wanted to say a few words before you left tomorrow morning. This is our first time operating so far from home and possibly our first time in such a horrendous war: mortal man’s ability to craft new engines of death and destruction never fail to horrify me. But our mission is a righteous one, give help to all those who need it. Give medical attention to all those who are wounded, civilian and both side’s combatants, clothe the cold, feed the hungry, shelter the vulnerable and give mass daily: I suspect for your kindnesses there will be a healthy number of converts. For many of you this will be a horrendous mission but it is God’s work, it is what Jesus would do. Should any of you perish, I imagine the Sainthood is not an unreal possibility. We here will pray for you daily, and I imagine the nation will pray for you. You will be the face of Hrythingia: make it a loving one. Go, in the name of the Lord.”

In the early hours of the next morning, three chartered cargo planes departed for Tel-Aviv loaded with several jeeps, one mobile command unit, 400 medical staff, priests, logistics, engineers and cooks. Most of them were either monks or nuns, with distinct vows. Many clutched rosaries as they passed over the great oceans age headed in a grim unknown. They were lead by Friar Ælfræd, a former military chaplain who had taken the vows of a monk after he had tired of such a life. He was energetic, organised and cool headed: he knew these attributes would be heavily challenged during this operation. He prayed to God for strength.

Khan Arnabah, Quneitra Governorate, Syria
The FSA-American combined forces have recently started the offensive on Khan Arnabah and generally in the Quneitra governorate, one major point through the road to Damascus. Since last order from HQ in Madinat Al-Baa'th, the shipment of 110 M1A2 Abrams tanks, 15 F-15E Strike Eagles and 15 F-22As and 10 Apaches, 10 Vipers and 25 Black Hawks have arrived safely from NATO bases in Turkey since then and ready for operations. The FSA has already captured some towns from Turnajah to Hayt, the Americans let the FSA have all the glory on assaulting Khan Arnabah first, while they advanced, softening Syrian forces in Khan Arnabah, but the real offensive came when the American support arrived, F-15E Strike Eagles took out SAMs in that town, with support from FSA fire and RPGs while advancing mechanized infantry of Strykers with M1A2 Abrams tanks support crushed the weakening Syrian forces, those Syrian forces were using old but effective Soviet weaponry and there were new Russian tanks seen but in small numbers, such as the T-90.
What helped to capture the town was the relentless shelling support by M777A2 howitzers from outskirts of town who were setting up positions there before the battle and constant CAS A-10 support when the SAMs were cleared out by F-15E Strike Eagles as well as M1A2 Abrams rush and already present FSA forces fighting in the city, making themselves useful and weakening the Syrian Forces, they were on the advancing road to Damascus, the FSA had really large potential and lots of momentum to take out Bashar Al-Asad's regime.

Hoover Dam, Colorado River
Around the time of American intervention in the Israel-Bashriyya war, and the assault of Madinat Al-Baa'th in Syria, a few Islamist cells decided to make an act of defiance against "American Imperialism" by blowing up the precious Hoover Dam, one of the economic strongpoints in the whole United States, blowing it up can make an economic downfall, insurance companies going bust, no water for crops and irrigations meaning farming industry takes a blow and it could basically cause an entire economic crisis around the world, especially felt in the US.
The place was abandoned from workers because of higher ups causing it to happen, but they couldn't get security forces not to work because it was basic logic that security needs to be on site at all times. The operatives moved in quietly in unmarked vans, proceeding fastly to their objectives, only not knowing there were security patrols around the dam, one security man with a flashlight spotted them and shouted at them, "Hey! You are not allowed to be on dam grounds! Freeze punks!" They were going loud, having a shootout with the guard, he quickly took cover and called reinforcements, he was later shot in the chest and died but the reinforcement call was already done, the whole site was on alert, with security forces quickly moving in to the area where the suspects were spotted, they had a full blown shootout at the dam, one of the operatives was shot in the knee and another shot in the shoulder, the other operatives were forced to retreat to the vans, but they were pretty far away from it, they dragged the injured ones away from the fire but the security forces didn't let them advance because they were met by suppressive fire from security guards and shortly arriving local Hoover Dam and Nevada Police to support them with more suppressive fire, they were considering calling SWAT but they were handling the situation, with at least 10 suspects on the site, at least 3 of them were shot down and injured but the suspects were not planning to leave men down and the vans positions had already been found out by the police near the site, it was the arrest or swimming in the freezing cold water and the police was closing in quickly, they decided to all surrender to the police, leading to their arrest and interrogation later on.

Later on in the interrogation, the cops knew what they were doing, they were going to break the terrorists through legal methods. With the first 5, they played Good Cop/Bad Cop and decieved on each other that everyone's already broken and they are all snitching on each other that easily and it's all lost for them, they were the first to break, telling about their operation and their Islamic Cell located in Mugadishu and around the world and more information and locations, they didn't have any information more than that. The second 5 ones were more tougher nuts to crack. They had to use Ego up/Ego down, the first 3 broke down under that method, with 2 being under Ego down and 1 ego up. The second 2 were the toughest ones, but eventually the last 1 broke down under Ego Down, the last one didn't break at all. Those ones told them about the operation in Paris and more location and info about their Paris operation. But by the time they prepared to take action, saving Paris was lost and the bomb detonated. Saving Paris was a lost cause and now is a nuclear wastleand, the 10 operatives were put in the worst jails in the USA and the bombing of Paris will forever be remembered.

Mediterranean Sea, Coast of Israel
Since the deployment of the American Carrier Strike Group with the Marine Expeditionary Force for backup, it has been roaming around the sea, patrolling it for different enemies and surprisingly the coast was clear for now, it has been ordered to go straight for Israel to resupply with fuel and ammo, even the replenishment vessel needs to be resupplied with fuel.
So they made a clear passage towards the coast of Israel and have been resupplying since then.

The destroyers had deployed in a way so they would have distance from the flagship and are the ones in front of it but have quite the distance from it. And also the attack submarines were deployed to sit silently below the thermocline, utilizing stealth and speed.

General Jafar shaking hands with Mustafa al-Hamid

The Divisions arrived near the proximity of Zabad. The highest ranking officers met up with Mustafa al-Hamid and his generals to discuss all about the wonderful plans to wipe out the Jewish race from the face of the Earth. Qadibayya also diverted 100 troops to defend the leaders of Bashriyya in case of an assassination.The first division held a parade on the streets of Zabad to show hope to our allies and to threaten those who stand in the way of Zionist exterminatus. The rest of the divisions replenished their supplies in the surrounding bases of Bashriyya. They were to strike Hatay who allowed the SACTO dogs access to its airbases.

The rest of the Brigade traveled to other major cities in an effort to defend them against potential threats. Meanwhile, SCUD missiles were facing at the general direction of Hatay's airbases. The Qadibiyyan soldiers in the military bases were sort of preparing for a night attack against the enemy. Meanwhile on Aisha island, the expeditionary forces landed on the island and began re-enforcing it. Soldiers dispersed all over the island but they focused their strength on Aisha city.

The enemy will be destroyed!

"Do it." Admiral Quardya said, calling Omar al-Sadr's bluff as soon as he heard it. It was clear to him that New Yama held all the cards. "No really, give the order." Silent Ghazan leaned back in his chair waiting for the buffoon's response. After a short pause from his counterpart Quardya spoke again. "The hill you've chosen to die on is a sand dune and it's gradually being blown away by a gust. Do you think that the Inyurstans are just going to lay down their arms because you gave them Nasheed?" Quardya took a long drag from his cigarette. "You underestimate them very much like my predecessor did, and now he's in a shallow unmarked grave befitting his status and condition. Omar, I know you don't want to turn into another Vashan.....So I'm feeling a bit generous today and I'd be willing to give you a way out of this: We could evacuate you and your staff on the condition that my men within Bashriyya leave untouched... and you give me all the information you know about the Redshield family, and the possible leads on William Dates. You're in a bind, Bashriyya is going to the dogs and you need a way out. You know it, I know it, we all know it. Now lets work together, let us be brothers once more. Now you see...."

"Admiral Quardya, you might want to see this." General Manya interrupted his superior in Dorian, showing him an online news article about the incident in Paris.

Before he could react, he could hear a commotion from the other end of the phone. A gunshot. For a split-second Quardya hoped it had been al-Sadr that had been shot but his expectations that Nasheed's generals had enough sense to kill al-Sadr were dampened when he heard his voice. Ghazan knew that the Paris tragedy wasn't his own doing and that Nasheed had to have been double-dealing with someone else, a very foolish man or group. Admiral Quardya waited for the other line to calm down before reiterating his offer.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Colonel." Doctor Besis said. "Death comes for us all Colonel Sayef, but it doesn't have to come today." The Scientist lead the Colonel through the lobby of the facility and into an office overseeing the assembly floor. "Now, tell me what you see when you look down onto the assembly floor."

Colonel Sayef looked down to see a crowd of scientists and facility guards around a completed and armed bomb. He turned around and aimed his shotgun at the Doctor. "What's the meaning of this, gorsa?"

"Just a bargaining chip, Colonel Sayef. Now please, sit across from me at the table. None of us have to die here."

Sayef kept his weapon's sights trained on Besis. "I don't think so."

Doctor Besis checked his watch. "We don't have much time Colonel Sayef, so I suggest we talk before the Inyurstans blow us all to hell, in say about.... twenty minutes? And if they somehow miss, then four minutes after that the bomb down on the assembly floor will explode without my order to disarm. This facility isn't exactly a secret to the intelligence community..."

Colonel Sayef's eyes widened in surprise. His aim started to get shaky as the reality began to set in. "W-what's stopping me from k-killing all of y-you right now?"

"I'm glad you asked, Amir. One of those brave men down there has a detonator and will detonate our bomb as soon as he hears shots any shots being fired meaning we all go up. So, let's talk so we can all get out of this alive shall we?" Doctor Besis offered Colonel Sayef a chair.

The Colonel gritted his teeth and begrudgingly lowered his gun, ordering his guards to do the same. "Alright, let's talk."

"A fine choice, Amir. Now, let's introduce our terms, I'll start with mine: Let us all go on our merry way and we all don't get blown up."

"No deal. Orders are orders, Doctor."

"Do orders really matter now? With SACTO attacking, Bashriyya is collapsing all around us. In this its every man for himself. I'd imagine whoever replaced Nasheed is on their way out now. Wouldn't we all like to see our families again?"

"What am I gonna say to my superiors? That I let you all go because you threatened to kill us all? That it was some madman with nothing to lose would rather die than be treated like kings in Khataiy?"

"That's exactly what you're going to say. And saying that we're going to be supposedly 'treated like kings' in an even less stable Arab dictatorship isn't enticing at all. At best we'd be able to leave the assembly line and labs for a few hours a day under armed guard."

"Is it not the same in New Yama?"

"Hmm, yes and no. See, Quardya sees the value in us more than any Bashriyyan or Khataiyan would. In order for us to work, he prefers to give us a few concessions that he'd never give to others under his rule. The scientists of New Yama are some of the freest people in the country, so long as we do our work and don't leave. Going from this nice setup to a prison factory in Khataiy isn't worth it."

"Now, your terms?"

"We take all of you to Khataiy so you all can start constructing weapons for them."

"That's it?"

"Or we can kill you."

"Well, you know the consequences of any plans to fulfill your orders. So there's only one way out: Letting us go. Now, there's a convoy incoming in about three minutes or so to take us to the airport. If you excuse me and my colleagues, we'll be going." Doctor Besis rose from his chair.

"Fine. Go." Sayef said, defeated.

"Let's shake hands to finalize the deal, shall we?" Doctor Besis went over to Colonel Sayef with his hand in reach.

"Well, Gorsa, looks like you've beat me. Never thought I'd be dealing with a man like you today." Sayef shook Besis' hand. As soon as the two stopped shaking hands, the ground violently shook and the facility's windows shattered inward The facility's inner frame was starting to strain under the quaking earth. It turned out that Doctor Besis' time was off and the Inyurstans had hit the larger GL-7 R/D facility 19 km to the west. The men on the assembly floor went into a panic yelling that they were being attacked, and with that, the guard in control of the detonation trigger, detonated the bomb. Within an instant, GL-2 and all the vehicles and troops within the vicinity were caught in the blast. The large explosion could be seen from Ayesha, as debris and pulverized ejecta started to blanket the surrounding desert in a radioactive glow.

IFC Headquarters, Kairaku, Kirishima

The PM's office was abuzz with the war in Bashriyya, as Omar al-Sadr threatened, and used chemical weapons on Hatay and by extension Inyursta. A serious act indeed. Myra Soymian really only saw one course of action in the conflict: the inevitable entry of the International Freedom Coalition into the conflict to stop Bashriyya's and its allies' ability to make war. The Coalition had to respond in kind. Soymian addressed the council on the attack and demanded the activation of the defense pact commitment of the International Freedom Coaltion. The call was now out. Now the IFC and SACTO would be gunning for Bashriyya.

The sight of General Jafar and his glorious prowess, the prowess of a lion of Islam, the prowess of a Mujaheddin had truly excitied Mustafa al-Hamid he spoke "Oh General Jafar, it is such an honor." tears of joy came down his eyes. "Oh praise be to Allah brother!" he hugged General Jafar passionately . "We have bad news, Omar has sold out and I think he is planning to let Riysan troops into the country. Our goal should be to form a new separatist state free from the forces of Shaytan right here and right now here in Tunisia! We will fight like Dabiq to defend this land if we have to!"

The arrival of the Qadibayyans was truly exquisite as now the Bashriyyans were able to bolster their forces, Bashriyya and Qadibayya had been lifelong allies and both states were members of the Ummat al-Islam a powerful alliance of Muslim nations.

The convoy came to a stop and Nashid was being brought out, two Military police officers holding him by his arms. White flags were being raised from the vehicles almost a sign of surrender. Nashid was brought out one of the MPs began to read a document "General Mohammed Ali Al-Nashid today you are begin turned over to authorities for war-crimes." The soldier continued to read the rest of the document before uncuffing Nashid and saluting him. A tear came down the soldiers face and the soldier said "We will miss you General!" Nashid saluted back and then put his hand on the soldiers shoulder "I know akhi, maybe we will meet in the afterlife as neighbors in Janna." the soldier laughed a bit "You old bastard I still love you, maybe even in Jahhanam." Nashid laughed a bit "Maybe Akhi!"

Omar al-Sadr had viewed the explosion coming from the nuclear site in the far distance and fell to his knees "Damn it!" currently two nuclear bombs had been detonated one in Paris and one in Bashriyya and anyone would realize that this was enough to gather attention from all over. Omar al-Sadr began to organize another press conference.

"Today I am hereby officially announcing a surrender to Riysan forces, the nuclear attack in Paris and the occurrence at a joint New Yaman Bashriyyan research facility being the cause. We did not plan this to be a nuclear stand-off, it is on this basis that I am turning over all military forces under Riysan control and I urge all officers to obey these commands."

Sadr then left the press conference frantically along with his family and several of his top officers and their families as well as several top intelligence agents. Sadr was bringing with him a large intel dump, pretty much everything that Bashriyyan had been able to gather on the Redshields, Amihan Russel, and William Dates, GNN, Boogle and the Microshift corporation. It was a profound intel dump.

A convoy would head to the airport, a stand down order had been given to allow the New Yaman delegates safe passage out of Bashriyya, al-Sadr called up Quardya via cell-phone. "Hey Quardya it is me, Al-Sadr I fully accept your offer-I have all the records with me." the convoy raced down the street with a few rebellious soldiers taking potshots at it and rebellious teenagers throwing rocks at it. Protestors with signs that read "traitor", "Riysan agent", "isolationist", "zionist", "American agent" and "coward" all of them directed toward Al-Sadr.

Al-Sadr had plenty of men in the Bashriyyan army and plenty of Bashriyyans supported him, in fact many Bashriyyans would likely welcome the Riysan troops if they were to arrive. However it was a controversial move even though it was done to save the nation from destruction at the hands of a SACTO and IFC coalition.
