In this rp you will be playing as various people within Daaqii. The main components will be people send from the Community of Nations, with different sections of peacekeepers, aid workers, and civil engineers. You can also play as local citizens, tourists, people from other organizations, journalists, or unaffiliated persons doing whatever they do. I'll let The General explain where these people all go:

"The first region is called Maxfadan. It is the traditional homeland of the Ra'ay. Most of the armed peacekeepers will be stationed here, and will, as their name suggests, be keeping the peace. Protests and demonstrations are to be observed and policed that they will not rise to violence again, and under such circumstance that they might, that the peacekeepers will be given authority to make arrests as necessary. If the violence escalates further, and their armed presence fails as a deterrent, then they will be prepared to deal with any insurgents as far as due process and force requires them to. We hope that the soldiers provided will exercise due caution as well, but realize that the situation in the north may not be as easy as we all hope it is."

"The second region is the south, among the Varimi and Habesht peoples. Here, men and women who dedicate themselves to non-violent means may still find purpose. Development of infrastructure, participation in traditional life, and also the distribution and administration of aid such as vaccines will be found in these regions. For those who wish to the direct betterment of many people's lives, this is exactly what you are looking for- and for the culturally curious, it is a learning experience that will open your eyes to the ancient customs of Bahia and all that its people have to offer."

"The third region lies in many places, for it consists of major cities. Here, a wide array of activities may be found. Personnel from the Community of Nations may participate in policing, intelligence reports, education about Daaqi culture and history, work in writing reports back to their respective headquarters, or any number of public activities that shall remain unlisted for the sake of time. While it may not be as relaxed and humble as the Varimi, nor as active and action-packed as the trials in Maxfadan, participation in city life bears its own benefits that cannot be ignored, both for the sake of the country and for the sake of those involved."

So that's basically all you need to know. The Ra'ay are having a crisis of escalating separatist violence, the Varimi are rural and underdeveloped but more supportive of the central government, and the major cities have a lot of things to do, especially for unaffiliated people.

Background or bio whatever: Natanaël Yanuf's grandparents were born in what was once the Gaullican colonial empire, in the city of Shaqo. When the end of the Great War came about, they could have roughly been considered imperial loyalists. Staunch Ra'ay, they quickly found themselves isolated in their communities from the anti-Gaullican sentiment that swept through Bahia as the Gaullican armies became more dire, more entrenched, and more radical in defending infrastructure over the lives of colonials.

In 1942, Natanaël's grandparents left Daaqii independently of each other, but found themselves in what would become their home -- the fledgling Republic of Gaullica. The reaction they received in the inner-city of Verlois was just about as bad as they expected: what was a fad was to be republican, and apparently what being republican meant was to snub everything to do with the empire. Including its former subjects.

They made do -- and eventually found each other.

Natanaël Yanuf, a third generation child of immigrants in Gaullica, has retained his culture heritage. He's a staunch Atudaite, speaks Shaqi and took Gaullican Imperial History alongside 'Bahian Studies' as a university degree. However, despite the ancestral homeland he holds dear, he finds himself with a civic pride for his republic. Whilst racism is a tough thing to kill, he is not looked down upon like how his grandparents were. He feels attachment to the state that gave him medicine, food, a house and an education.

In some sense, his sense of duty led him to join the military when he left university -- despite his life long aspirations of becoming a teacher.

He passed his physical exams with flying colours and rose quite quickly to the rank of an officer -- due to his pre-existing education -- within Gaullica's infantry. In 2009 he was involved with Gaullica's anti-insurgent operations across Kigomba alongside the Kwitzambean government, and has undertaken several counter-insurgency sweeps through Nouvel Anglet.

When his ancestral homeland recently had another ignition of ethnic and geographical divide, he could do no more than request to his superiors that he be sent with Gaullica's Community Peacekeepers. They could do naught be agree.

Background or bio whatever: Martino Ieria was born to a modest Aquilian family in the city of Aquila, as the second of eight children. He lived a happy youth, raised in a happy family. Although by no means a well-to-do family, his family always had enough to get by. From an early age he felt a desire to help others and to serve God- he ended up helping out his younger siblings when they needed help. He was a pious boy, always going to Church and trying to learn his Faith as best he could. Despite being pious and helpful, he maintained a quiet and tranquil disposition, remaining humble.

His quiet and meditative nature helped him with his studies. He was educated at a Dominican school in the capital, and graduated at the top of his class. He managed to secure a prestigious spot at the University of Aquila, and would attend, studying both theology and medicine. It was during this time he felt a calling to serve the Lord, and after he graduated with honors he joined the Camillian Orders. After taking vows and joining as a brother, he would earn his Medical Doctorate. After he completed this, he would go to seminary, and finally be ordained a Camillian Priest by age 33. His first assignment was to go to Daaqi, where he would take charge of the Camillian Hospital and Mission in Alamgwomgwo.

Only beginning with limited resources and one other brother assisting him, Father Ieria's 6 years would see much expansion and growth to the Hospital and to the Mission, with the facility expanding and the addition of another priest and three new brothers. He would quickly become endeared to the local populace, serving anyone regardless of Faith and economic standing, and is careful not to encroach on the traditions of the people he serves. He and his fellow Camillians help the community with medical care, vaccines, and in other ways as well. The mission serves a very small but faithful band of believers, but although the locals might not be flocking to the Church, he still loves the people he serves, and hopes to bring more souls to God through a quiet and humble example.

Background or bio whatever: Ruggieri is one of a long-running number of Ruggieri soldiers and officers, though the first of his family name to serve within the elite Espolatori (Pathfinders). Born to Captain Mauro Ruggieri, an officer with the 3° Armoured Brigade of the Etrurian Land Force (Forza Terrestre Etruriana), he was raised within the order of military life. With that came an expectation to follow family tradition and seek to serve Etruria through military service. He was enrolled into the controversially named Ettore Caviglia National Defence Academy (Accademia Nazionale di Difesa Ettora Caviglia), where he excelled, topping his class in graduation.

Against his wildest expectations of military life, he would see actual combat between 2010 and 2011, when the Espolatori were deployed alongside the Auxiliary Defence Force to western Novalia to confront armed Marolev separatists, culminating in the Battle of Starše in 2011. Ruggieri led his combat unit into the town, clearing out the Marolevs, following the government's victory, his unit and himself were immediately earmarked for the Etrurian contingent granted to the Community of Nations, an opportunity he gladly accepted - "always nice to see far-flung parts of the world, even if they're burning", so went the Etrurian peacekeeper motto went.

Despite the current state of affairs over the nature of the Etrurian government under the Tribvne Movement; Ruggieri never cared much for politics at home, it was always messy and brutal, but at least this government knew what it wanted to do - and that included maintaining the Etrurian Peacekeeping Contingent and gladly were they sent to Daaqii.

Background or bio whatever: Mihai was born in 1992 in the Amathian capital city of Arciluco, as the son of Alexandru Vecerzan, a former officer of the Department of State Security of the Amathian Democratic People's Republic, and of his wife, Mihaela Vecerzan, who was a doctor. His father was killed two months before he was born during the short but violent time of the Third Mineriad, when enraged miners on a strike randomly executed people who had been working for the former regime - one of their neighbors had informed the miners of his father's former job, which led to him being beaten to death and all of that. His childhood wasn't exactly easy, but it's not like it was horrible - but since his mother was pretty much busy all of the time, working in the ER of Arciluco's Municipal Hospital (Spitalul Municipal Arciluco). She was killed when he was three years old - while she and a few nurses were trying to keep a drunken man under control. So he was raised by his grandparents from his mother's side, moving to the village of Arpașul Mare, around 20 km from Arciluco itself.

Mihai went to primary school in the village, before commuting from Arpașul Mare to Arciluco during his time in the gymnasium, and he was a relatively good student, even if he was pretty quiet, and he never had a lot of friends. His grandfather died when he was 14 years old, and his grandmother died when he was 17.
