Kamyn peace conference [Cinderia only]

Postby Roelandia » Fri Jun 22, 2018 7:25 am

It was morning in the Roelandian capital Ici Roelandia. As the sunrays touched the water of the nearby Rhonau river it baded the glass of government tower in sparkling light.
Chancellor Margoliss went down from the top floor penthouse to the conference room that was prepared the previous evening to formally greet the delegations of each participating nation. The room offered a marvelous sight on the city's business district and features a state of the art viewscreen for use by each delegation.
Apart from the delegations of the prime eternal order and Kamyn (OOC: the latter played by Armenda), Linathia and the Cavendian States will also attend.

Ici Roelandia, Roelandia.
If there was one thing that old Marjani wanted right now, it was the way out.

The weathered, aging twentieth-century era plane had shakily landed in the Roelandian airport a few minutes ago, having brought a modest entourage with it. You could barely identify who - or what - owned the plane. But upon further inspection (and to their relief), Roelandian personnel had managed to make out the bare text that was emblazoned on the side of the propeller aircraft: KAMYNIAN AIR FORCE.

The paint that was used for the text was coming off - how symbolic, Marjani thought. Just as their own weak, aging air force was slowly fading away, the paint that once so proudly told everyone about who used the aircraft was fading away too. Decayed magnificence, the diplomat muttered as he slowly got off this plane.

This man is Sabircan Marjani, the most veteran Kamynian diplomat you can find. Truth be told, he was supposed to retire a few weeks ago - having spent the last few years in Armenda as the Kamynian ambassador, he had managed to watch his beloved Kamyn sink to become the failed state it is today from a very distant perspective. Being the ambassador had its perks and ultimately, he managed to secure a nice estate (not too far from the Armendan capital) where he had wanted to live for retirement.

But fate is a very queer mistress, as he so sourly realized getting off the plane. The PEO invasion that had occured only a few days ago had made headlines. Old Marjani, who had just started living the easy life, uneasily watched each news report on the war. In a few days, the Prime Eternal Order made significant breakthroughs in Kamyn, but had somehow been halted by the nation’s poor infrastructure, and are now further being threatened by other powers.

This meant there was only one option: diplomacy. That was the good news. Maybe the Kamynian people would be able to get out of this war without casualties, using words. But the bad news - what was the bad news for Marjani?

They asked him to do it.

Of course, he expected nothing less. The civilian government was slowly becoming understaffed - it was simply more beneficial to chummy up to a warlord. And who else could they send but their most veteran man in the service?

Marjani was a proud, old man. He accepted the offer at once, boarding a plane for Kamyn first, where he got briefed for a while (He also looked around Kamyn whenever possible. It was his homeland, after all.) He then took the plane here, although the flight was much more uncomfortable. He smiles, recalling the times both him and the pilot prayed so that the stray PEO AA fire does not hit them. Their prayers were answered. Here they were, Ici Roelandia. But this was where the hard part began.

“Good afternoon.” A grim Marjani said to the group of guards standing cautiously in front of the plane’s doors. “I am Sabircan Marjani. Delegation for Kamyn.” He waved behind him, to the lone secretary hauling the luggage out of the gate. The secretary was a tall, lanky boy. Probably a graduate that needed a job, Marjani had thought when he first met the secretary, back when they boarded the plane. The boy slept for most of the journey, but had proved useful so far. At least, Marjani thought, he wasn’t alone in this.

The soldiers nodded, leading Marjani and the secretary into a convoy. The secretary marvelled at the great sights of Ici Roelandia. “How,” The boy mused, “How can cities be this big?” Marjani smirked. “You’ll get used to it, especially if you stick with the Foreign Service.” If there’s any Foreign Service to actually stick with anymore.

They had arrived early - earlier than most. Having arrived at a tower, Marjani and the secretary were led upstairs, to the conference room. Their luggage, the soldiers assured the secretary, would be kept safe and will be returned to them when they come back downstairs.

As the pair entered the conference room, Marjani’s eyes fixed upon a sole target - Chancellor Margoliss. One of the most powerful women in this world, Margoliss could easily help in securing - rather, saving - the hopes of an independent Kamyn. She must be befriended. Immediately. But at the same time, he thought of why the Prime Eternal Order had actually invaded. To restore order, he recalls them saying. Perhaps an alternate deal could be struck, one that could very well guarantee the end of a Kamynian failed state, and the return of a proper one. Sabircan Marjani’s mind was swimming with ideas and alternatives - how wonderful it was, he thought, being a diplomat!

“Stay here.” Marjani said, gesturing to a seat at the table, hoping that either the PEO or Roelandian delegation sits nearby. “Where are you going, sir?” The bemused secretary asked. “I’m going to make some friends.” Marjani replied, walking towards the Chancellor.

Sabircan Marjani, the old veteran of words, was now finally on the verge of finding a way out.

When the Kamynian delegation entered the room, Margoliss smiled. In a polite, formal kind of way but still a smile.
She took a few steps in their direction with the intention of formally greeting them but was immediatly intercepted by the lead diplomat who had directed his aides to the conference table.
A little bewildered she stared at the somewhat forward attitude of mister Marjani but quickly refound her composure.

"Welcome to Roelandia mister Marjani. I've heard a lot about you the past few years though we never had the pleasure of meeting face to face before. I'm glad we're finally getting the chance. Although I whish it was under better circumstances."

*she shakes his hand. Gently but firmly at the same time

"As you can see we have provided anything you may need, our technician over there will show you the presentation interface in a short while.
In the meantime may I suggest you try these amazing Chocolates? They're original recipes from the city of Gaeteria, all the way from the northwest of Roelandia"

*a waiter with a platter offers Marjani a number of delicious looking chocolates

She maintained her formal smile throughout the entire introduction while making some standard obligatory small talk with the ambassador, waiting for him to get to the reason why he was trying so hard to get her attention.

Ici Roelandia, Roelandia.
"Ah! How pleasant, madame chancellor." Marjani said, taking a single piece and popping it into his mouth. "I must admit, these Roelandian chocolates are excellent..." Marjani continued, gazing at the view ahead of him, taking another piece of chocolate.

"Madame," He began, walking towards the glass wall, hands behind his back. "You should know that this conference is a lot more important than it may seem... by taking the initiative to call for discussion," Marjani paused, bouncing the chocolate piece up and down. "You have given Kamyn a few days of hope. Come to think of it though, respite, I believe, is the better word. We now have a few days without having to fear the theft of our national identity. A few days without having to fear foreign artillery shells being lobbed on our cities once more."

Marjani stopped bouncing the chocolate, instead extending it towards the Chancellor. One could notice that it had started to melt, slightly staining his rough, scarred hand. "This is Kamyn, madame. As wonderful as it may look now, it is evident that its presence is fading away. And one day," He put the chocolate in his mouth, quietly finishing it off. "Something big might consume it. And no one will hear of Kamyn again."

Now, Marjani smiled. "But you have managed to stall what appeared to be the inevitable, madame. Still, it does not seem like enough has been done. We've always seen Roelandia as a protector in this world, but I wish to ask you, how far would you go to protect Kamyn?"

As Simon Snow Bordered his shuttle with his dear friend Daniel kilo For it has been about 3 weeks since he has been in office as supreme leader of The Prime Eternal Order. He was in full military dress with a fake sword as a sign of good faith and his purple suit sparkled in the Sun. He also had his soldiers bring fake weapons he didn't know if they were permitted or not so he had them guard the plane with their sides arms they would not engage Unless the representatives needed to be saved or were attacked. Well there's only 10 of them not much but it would be good to have them. He was looking most forward to see the Roelandia Chancellor who if it wasn't for her the previous president Alex kalersign would have annihilated the Kamyn People Minister snow at the time did not want that but the situation could have played out more perfectly with Alex kalersign made an inspection on his troops he was shot dead by a kamyn sniper himself safely away in a bunker It was not a surprise he would be elected next for he was in second place to be supreme leader but he chose to be the Prime Minister he didn't want all of that tension but his plan was to suffice the people into thinking he would destroy Cannon but due to poor funding he could not it was silly to have the people think that it was poor funding but all his close advisors knew about how much money was really going into the campaign and into the propaganda so he and set out for the half a day's flight it would take to get to Roelandia

Image

as the Plane landed he walked in to see that he was the third to arrive he brought two Soldiers with him in case this was a trap which he knew it wasn't but to show that he wants his peace he purposely had his soldiers have their sidearms taken away and just there wooden rifles to be with him

“ hello there this is a nice conference room you have don't worry these soldiers Am I to show this great faith that we can work out differences and agree on peace might I say Chancellor Margoliss You are more beautiful in real life than in the pictures Please accept this frozen bananas from The Prime Eternal Order”

“And I'm sorry but I believe we haven't met he said to the Kamyn Representative”

You scratched his walrus mustache waiting for a reply

Kamyn peace conference [Cinderia only]

Postby Cavendian States » Tue Jun 26, 2018 3:26 pm

The Cavendian Minister of Foreign Affairs stared out of the window as the plane descended, skidding on the runway. Nicholas Regas was heading a team of seasoned diplomats, many of whom had been active in the Ministry for years. The President, who had planned on accompanying him, was stopped by the primaries -- McClellan's favored candidate had been denied the nomination. Regas did not envy the prospect of having to lead the Cavendian delegation alone. He had a sinking feeling that the peace conference today would be messy. Before the invasion, Cavendia had already warned that the Prime Eternal Order would face global retaliation if they invaded Kamyn. Their government went through with it anyway, after a half-assed attempt to bribe the Commonwealth into neutrality.

The plane came to a stop. Regas sighed before standing up to exit. After exchanging a few words of casual conversation with the other diplomats, the Minister was shepherded into a car before making his way through Ici Roelandia.

It wasn't his first time in the city. As one of the primary proponents of McClellan's foreign policy, he had traveled across the globe. This, of course, meant many trips to the world's "only" superpower. Because of that, Regas had grown unusually fond of certain aspects of Ici Roelandia, especially the local cuisine.

Time passed quickly. His trip through Ici Roelandia became a blur. As the procession of vehicles came to a halt in front of the conference building, Regas and the rest of the Cavendian delegation were led through the building. "The conference room is over there, sir," A security guard gestured to a room across the hallway.

Before he entered the room, Regas assumed his game face. He straightened up his posture, adjusted his tie, and adopted an expression of steely determination.

He was going to get this peace deal, no matter what.

Ici Roelandia, Federation of the Federal Republics of Roelandia

He hated being late, he was impatiently tapping the arm of the chair as the plane slowly landed in the tarmac, Albricht was a man that didn't take anything as a joke, running a country is serious business and the Prime Minister was sure to make the Kaiserin proud, his father Franz Albricht was an avid politician and ambassador in Roelandia for many years, and in that very moment his father's voice echoed in his head.

"Being a politician is not only a mere job Albert, when you reach the high echelons of state you represent our entire country, you speak with the authority of the Crown, you are the Empire's Finest" His thoughts were cut off rather quickly when he heard the voice of the jet's captain calling

"Landing complete, all delegates may leave the vehicle" he noticed other international vehicles, The Cavendian States, The Order and of course Kamyn had arrived before him. He sighed and muttered "This is it". Once he was down the plane and a few meters away, he looked at the vehicle "parking" in the airfield adding to the collection of planes in Ici Roelandia. Albricht was used to the sight of Ici Roelandia, Linathia was one of the main bussiness partners of Roelandia in both Economics and shared History, many a time he had thought if he too had Roelandian Blood like many Southern Linathians.

Albert had brought along his trust secretary Käte Brahms, a very diligent woman, and as the say goes she fulfills the Linathian sterotype of diligent, stoic and hardworking people.

Conference Room

As the Linathian Delegation made it's way to the conference room, Albricht told Käte to take a seat in the places reserved for them. And taking a deep breath he moved with confidence to where Margoliss and Marjani were standing, he had heard of Sabrican Marjani, a veteran diplomat and Albricht couldn't help but respect politicians who managed to keep both their names and backgrounds, two of those politicians were standin right there.

"Ambassador Marjani" he said extending a hand to the old man "It's an honor to finally met you in person sir" shaking his hand firmly showing a polite smile under his thick moustache. Then he proceeded to greet eva "Madam Prime Minister, it's been a while since we met face to face. Too bad it took a military invasion to meet like this" at this point he was speaking to the three of them, he had this "thing" this, ability to be social and charismatic, a perk that helped him win the election a few years back.

"Hopefully after this conference we can all meet again in more pleasant circumstances" Along with Eva and the Roelandian people, he was determined to give Kamyn a future. Unlike many politicians, Albert understood that this game, as dangerous as it may be, needed a new look; a healthy dose of isolation and mutual cooperation; for some what he was trying to achieve was impossible, but he was a visionary, "A new future for Linathia" was his slogan in his campaign, but now it was bigger than Linathia. And if helping Kamyn meant that Linathia's influence would grow even more, then he will do all in his power as Prime Minister to do so.

For his voice, was the Kaiserin's voice.

He was talking to Minister Regas and thanking him for trying to warn the previous president about the dangers he saw the door open and Minister Albricht walk in

Seeing that Minister Albricht Did not even go up to Snow to greet him Snow thought himself I have to be the better man here he grabbed one of his frozen bananas from his gift basket walked up to the minister And said
“Hello minister Albricht here I brought these for the entire delegation how does frozen banana on The Prime Eternal Order we grow Ourselves up at the Capitol Help me feel”
he said jokingly Referring to the time where poor minister Albricht Was confused and insulted him about his writing skills but now is not the time to hold grudges H he did not wish to hold grudges

after talking with Mr. Marjani And realized who he was he had great respect for him for his ancestors did come from Kamyn unlike others who came from more of the West. he had his bargain all worked out in his head.

He went out in the hallway Knelt down and prayed “Heavenly Father please bless this piece deal will work and that we will be able to get this conflict settled with I say in the name of Jesus Christ amen”

He smiled went back turned to Chancellor Margolis And asked “Chancellor may we start now that all the delegates are here to negotiate the peace deal”

After all he needed to get back to the Senate to tell him how the first day went he signaled for the Two Soldiers to go back to the Car as there was no threat nearby

Chancellor Margoliss was impressed by Marjani's rhetorical abillities. He was clearly a veteran in his field.

That was very humbling mister Marjani. Your nation may be small but I will personally make sure that the international community will not forget it.

At this point supreme leader Snow of the prime eternal order adressed the chancellor.
Margoliss was taken a little aback by Snow's and found it quite innapropriate. Her attitude didn't reflect this however.

"How thoughtfull of you mister Snow." She said, accepting the forzen banana.
"I'm happy to see that your government has made good on it's promise to halt the fighting for the duration of these talks." She kept smiling through the entire interaction.

At this point the Linathian prime minister arrived and offered his hand to Margoliss.
"Yes, it is indeed a meeting under grim circumstances and I whish they were better. Still, it's off course a good thing that we are meeting at all. Oh and my official title is 'chanellor'. Our prime minister, who couldn't join us today, is Thomson Nattis. But I guess that's an easy mistake to make." Margoliss ended this statement with a friendly and sincere smile.

After some small, pleasent banter between Marjani, Albrecht and Eva, she noticed that mister Regas from the Cavendian states had entered the room. She went over to Regas in order to officially greet him.
"Ah mister, Regas, gald to see you have arrived. We will begin shortly. Can I offer you a rik maybe? I've had some excellent Caviss wine brought over from Cristalga."

Before Regas could answer however, Snow interrupted her and asking whether he could start the meeting. Margoliss nodded. "Yes, I think it's time." She said while she grabbed a seat and sat down.

*She gestured the others to take their seats as well.

"I suggest Kamyn will open the conference as it is their country that is at stake here. After Kamyn we will move on to a statement by the prime eternal order as they are the two primary actors in this conflict. After the opening statments the debate can begin."

Ici Roelandia, Roelandia.
Marjani smiled, deeply satisfied with the Chancellor's answer - one of the world's biggest powers was now behind them, even if it were for only this conference. He had cleared his throat, readying to speak again, when the pair were suddenly interrupted by another man. When Marjani had turned around, he felt a cold sensation run down his spine.

It was the leader of the Prime Eternal Order. As he peculiarly handled a frozen banana to the Chancellor, Marjani simply smiled and introduced himself, allowing the dignitaries to mingle while he simply observed and smiled in the background. Of course, only five minutes later, the next dignitary had arrived: Prime Minister Albricht of Linathia.

Usually, Marjani was used to being in the background, and he had considered himself to be of a lower stature in comparison to most dignitaries. Therefore, when he was greeted so honorably by the Linathian, Marjani could not help but be flattered.

"Master Albricht, you are most humble. Please - the name is Marjani. Sabircan Marjani. I'd rather not have someone as noble as you call me sir. And the honor is all mine, honorable Prime Minister."

As the three continued to go forth with pleasantries, Marjani watched as the Supreme Leader of the PEO walked out of the room, but old Marjani could not be bothered to see where. Shortly after, the supposed Cavendian delegation had walked in. The chancellor broke off from the trio to go and greet the Cavendians, only to be interrupted by the PEO Supreme Leader.

All the dignitaries of the room were shortly led to their respective seats in the conference table. Chancellor Margoliss called for Marjani to speak next, and the Kamynian diplomat was ready for it.

"Honorable delegates, before I begin, I would like to thank you all for making this journey to the glorious city of Ici Roelandia, that too in the name of peace and in the interests of my homeland, the Republic of Kamyn." Marjani said, as he stood up, allowing the delegates to get a good look at him.

"As we already know, Kamyn has recently been invaded by the forces of the Prime Eternal Order. Countless Kamynians, in the name of the Republic, have died defending their homeland. And so we have come here, in Ici Roelandia, to prevent any more deaths."

Marjani paused, allowing the dignitaries to process what he said.

"Honorable sirs and madams, Kamyn wishes not to make any demand at the table, for we will leave our fate in your hands. But, as a statesman, I personally wish to say a few things to you."

Marjani paused again, this time measuring the bewildered reactions from the other delegates.

"Kamyn is a failed state. It is a weak state. Our government is a figurehead, and the streets are run by ragtag warlords that exist only to rape and pillage. No, I will not point out what the soldiers of the PEO have done. I wish to point out our own faults - I believe these are the very issues that have resulted in this invasion from the Prime Eternal Order. It is our chaotic political climate that seems to threaten to spill over other countries, a climate that threatens the Order's interests. Therefore, if we are to believe the PEO, their soldiers have come to reinstate order in the Kamynian state."

Thank god, Marjani thought, that secretary seems too busy eyeing up the Linathian girl to pay attention to what I'm saying. The rest of the diplomats must be wondering what this old fucker was up to.

"However, the Order has made one significant mistake. They have violated Kamynian sovereignity, which really makes one question their true intentions. Therefore, as a statesman, I believe there are two choices here." He lifted his hand, revealing only two fingers.

"One - the Prime Eternal Order cease all military operations in Kamyn and withdraw their troops, or face international action." This time, old Marjani sipped a glass of water.

"Two - an international coalition be formed, led by Kamyn, to eliminate the warlords in the nation and reinstate order and consolidate the power of the current, civilian government. The Prime Eternal Order is also to be a part of this coalition, but they must cease warfare with Kamynian government forces and must coordinate military action with them. Coalition forces will remain in Kamyn, but will gradually leave."

Marjani cleared his throat.

"Masters, this was only my personal opinion as a statesman. Officially, Kamyn leaves her fate at the hands of the international community. I am but a lowly man from a lowly nation - I believe we have no right to impose our minnow power over a nation like the PEO. Therefore, Kamyn withdraws from these talks, and the delegation will only arrive when a conclusion has been reached."

Marjani smiled, walking towards the door. The bewildered secretary got up and followed him. "Honorable dignitaries, I would once more like to remind you about the choices I see as a statesman. Furthermore, I wish to remind you all that the fate of millions of Kamynians, and the fate of our identity as Kamynians itself, rests in your hands. Do not undermine the gravity of the choice you make now."

He slowly placed a card on the table, which appeared to have a number on it. "Do call the Kamynian delegation when an agreement has been reached, masters. But I must warn you - an agreement that does not suit Kamyn will simply mean more bloodshed. And I promise you, millions of Kamynians will be ready to bleed for their identity."

Marjani smiled, and slowly walked out the door. This was the biggest gamble he'd ever taken, and he was praying that the delegation would buy into it. The shock and responsibility, he believed, would get to them.

It wouldn't be long before he'd be called back, he hoped. And conveniently, Marjani sat in the lobby, awaiting the fate of his failed state, right next to his bewildered secretary, who was more upset at not being able to talk with the Linathian.

"Cheer up, lad. Better days are coming." Old Marjani said, hoping that his gamble would play out.

He listened to Marjani carefully, letting rest his back on the chair and placing his hand on his chin and playing with his thick moustache while the Ambassador spoke. His words were coherent, after the outrage that the Kaiserin had caused when she recieved such bizzarre telegrams the climate in the parlament had cooled down. The defenses were still up, and the threat of economic embargo was still looming, Albricht had to play his cards right.

Käte was typing on her laptop next to the Kamynian delegation, and surely noticed the young colleague eyeing her. The woman looked to her side with a face as serious as a statue and rose an eyebrow, only to continue her work on taking notes for the Prime Minister, after Snow finished talking, Albricht thought it'd be prudent to speak now.

"I agree with the Ambassador, we are currently at a crossroads, either the Prime Eternal Order pays for the irrational move of attacking another country's sovereignty and thus shaking the regional economic markets; you can easily see in the news how many industries have been affected by Operation Fox and the Invasion of Kamyn. With Prime Minister Snow's pardon I will boldly state that I couldn't trust the fate of Kamyn to the Eternal Order" He looked around the many chiefs of state present there; Marjani, Margoliss, Regas, and even Snow.

"I vote to form a coalition in order to bring proper stability to Kamyn with the sole condition that the Eternal Order must cease their military action immediately and stop any engagements with the legitimate government of Kamyn. Linathia can provide many relief efforts such as Logistics, Medical aid and Engineer Corps. While I will leave the Reichsparlament the decision of sending military personnel in order to root out these warlords" Noticing he had the attention of his equals he proceeded to use the sentimntal card. So far so good.

"Kamyn is a nation surrounded by Powers that can easily create trade routes, invest in their infrastructure, and other bilateral programs that can help Kamyn to prosper. We are allowing thousends of people to die in poverty and war, while we are enjoyning lavish lives peacefully. I don't know about you Madam and Gentlemen, but I will not stand for it" Before Marjani could leave he finished

"Ambassador Marjani, Chancellor Margoliss, Minister Regas, Prime Minister Snow. Linathia will stand with Kamyn, how can we establish peace and prosperity if we do not stand with those who need it the most? The betterment of mankind as a whole depends in international cooperation and how we treat our fellow man" With his signature stoic and cold face, Minister Albricht took his seat and drank a sip of water.

As he entered the conference room, Regas was approached by the PEO delegation. The minister kept the conversation brief, but cordial. He still held distaste for the PEO's top leadership, who had approved the invasion of Kamyn. When the conversation trailed off, the PEO diplomat wandered off. Only a few seconds later, Chancellor Margoliss walked up to Regas. Smiling, he greeted her. Margoliss offered him drinks, but before he had a chance to respond, the Chancellor was interrupted.

Regas and the other Cavendian diplomats took their designated seats as the conference began. The Kamynian diplomat -- Sabircan Marjani was his name, if Regas remembered correctly -- addressed the delegations. He must have a huge burden, Regas thought. The fate of his country was truly in his hands.

The foreign minister listened intently. His expression didn't change, but he was certainly shocked by the direction Marjani had decided to take in his speech. Rather than pointing out the blatant acts of aggression committed by the Order, he had chosen to point out Kamyn's own flaws. He struck a tone of humility and perhaps, most of all, deference. If there was one thing Marjani had succeeded in, it was making a powerful first impression on the delegations in the room. Indeed, the lives of millions laid in the hands of diplomats who had never set foot in Kamyn.

The PEO's speech was considerably less impactful. The PEO delegation had evidently decided to get straight to the point. Their demands for territory clashed with Cavendia's desire for a full withdrawal of PEO troops from the country. Cavendia had claimed that the PEO had violated Kamyn's territorial integrity. Accepting the PEO's desire to take their land -- regardless of their questionable reasoning -- would be hypocritical, at the very least. It became abundantly clear to Regas that the PEO's intentions were not to restore order but to install a puppet government that would almost certainly support the PEO's interests, rather than the people's.

Before Regas could formulate a response, however, the Linathian delegation -- headed by Albricht -- spoke. Once again, the foreign minister listened. Albricht spoke in favor of a coalition, designed to defeat the warlords plaguing the country and restoring some semblance of stability in Kamyn. Regas agreed, although he believed any international coalition would need to go further in ensuring the PEO wouldn't invade again.

"Chancellor, I would like to speak on behalf of the Cavendian delegation." Regas announced after Albricht finished his speech.

After briefly conferring with the other Cavendian diplomats, Regas spoke, "I second the coalition proposal put forth by both Mr. Marjani and Mr. Albricht. It has become increasingly clear that forceful action may be necessary in order to ensure the country's stability. An international military coalition, designed for the sole purpose of restoring order, would certainly go a long way in ensuring the country's future success and prosperity. However," The minister paused, "there are certain conditions that should come with this proposal. Firstly, I agree that the Prime Eternal Order must cease all offensive actions and combat operations against Kamynian forces. The Prime Eternal Order should also withdraw all troops from Kamyn. They should not be a part of the coalition, as suggested by Mr. Marjani, given that they have decided to invade an independent and sovereign nation for what seems to be the purpose of taking territory and installing a puppet government."

"Secondly, I believe that the burden is on the government of the Prime Eternal Order to pay reparations for the damages incurred during this invasion and the tragic loss of life that has occurred since the conflict began. The exact total for the reparations will be assessed by an impartial commission, assembled from neutral states. Most of these reparations will go towards rebuilding the country after the conflict. However, a substantial total will also be used for other reasons. Investing in the economy, funding the beleaguered military, building new infrastructure -- the list goes on. Money will, of course, be crucial in ensuring the stability of the Kamynian state."

"Lastly, certain precautions must be taken in order to prevent any future conflict between Kamyn and the Prime Eternal Order. A demilitarized zone, the exact size of which will be determined later, should be established on the Kamynian-Prime Eternal Order border. If possible, and with the consent of both sides, the DMZ should be managed and policed by the World Forum's peacekeepers. In addition, I believe that the governments of the Prime Eternal Order and Kamyn should sign a mutual non-aggression pact, to be renewed at certain intervals. A commission should also be established, consisting of officials from both states, to help facilitate dialogue, resolve border disputes, and to discuss differences."

"This is the proposal set forward by Cavendia. Modify it as you will, or perhaps you may propose your own deal. While it is by no means final, the Cavendian Commonwealth believes that this serves as an adequate foundation from which a framework for peace may be found. Mr. Marjani was correct when he said that the millions of lives are in our hands. This proposal will be absolutely crucial in ensuring that the future success and prosperity of the Kamynian people."

"Thank you. Thank you for your time," Regas finished.

first of all he said in a calm almost robotic voice we had a declaration of war we did not just come up one day and invade we sent them a declaration of War 3 days before this operation began second why would we make it public the day it would happen Remember this was my predecessors doing not mine I was against this from day one but we are the clear Victor's here why should we have to have the punishments for it if we are winning the war some of you may think we may be trying to start a puppet state but no from all means my government will pay all of the Referendum bills but we are willing to pay for this territory and leave this as a sovereign state to wipe out the warlord's but may I say if it's soon furiating that Warlords are ruling that is kamyn Problem it is not our false for the warlord's tell me those of you who want to fix them and those of you who want to leave kamyn as a sovereign state why should we be interfering and their government it is not the world's fault and it would be violating their sovereignty that we have to fix their government I'm for fixing their government but I'm also wondering why it's so bad that we're interfering with their sovereignty when you are doing the exact same thing by fixing them if we truly want equal representation here no offense Representative Marjani I have deep respect for you but why don't we have a ward in your seat why don't we invite all of the Warlords here and the loss of life you're talking about why is no one concerned with our nation's loss of life we have lost one of our presidents 2000 men they have lost 1000 No leaders have been killed of their government president Alex Kalersign started this whole thing and he was killed by a sniper hiding in a tree if we are the villains here why don't we have snipers picking off their government officials don't let your emotions get involved I'm all for this Coalition and for the demilitarized zone on the border with Kamyn but we need to get stuff out of this to as I said or troops are dying on the field to take this land we have occupied most of their land and have them surrounded I do not want a World War I want peace fair piece not one-sided piece I know I am fighting an uphill battle in this conference room but think to yourself Stella gets who is the underdog the little nation that has a bunch of big allies or a big nation with no allies

Chancellor Margoliss had listened patiently to all the delegations present at the conference.
She had weighted every word very carefully and had come to her own conclusion.

"It seems clear to me, as it did before this conference started, that the prime eternal order is indeed after the establishment of a puppet state in Kamyn. Declaration of war or not, you very well knwo that that is irrelevant"

*She stared briefly at supreme leader Snow with a determined gaze.

"When it comes down to 'losing men' in the conflict, you knew what you were getting into. And while I pitty the soldiers you sent to fight this war, my sympathies lie with them individually and their families, not with the prime eternal order state itself.
Roelandia therefore fully supports the idea of an international coalition to, shal we say, 'clean up' the situation in Kamyn, for lack of a better term. Roelandia is prepared to commit 500 troops on the ground as well as a minimal of air cover for this operation. As commander in chief of Roelandia's armed forces it is within my mandate to make this pledge, provided the motion passes through the Federal parliament of which I'm confident it will.

The only concern that still keeps me busy though is the precise objective of this coalition. So far this issue has only been touched upon by vague terms. First, I believe we all agree that we should return power of the territory back to the legitimate government by defeating the warlords that have carved up Kamyn in the last decade. But after this objective is complete, do we just leave? Won't this invite a full blown civil war in Kamyn? If our forces create this kind of power vaccuum without assisting the government in being able to fill that vaccuum our objective of ensuring stability in the region will have failed."

*She paused for a minute.

"I believe the most sensible thing to do is split the operation in two phases. Namely, a military and a civilian one.
The military operation should be phase one and should also, in my opinion be led by a committee whose members consist of the countries providing troops for this operation plus a Kamynian advisor. I second the notion that the prime eternal order should not be included in this coalition as they have already proven to be a disruptive influence in the region.

Once the Military portion of the operation is complete the leadership role will shift from a military committee to a civilian council with Kamyn serving as secretary-general to which the military forces, upon completion of their primary objective being slimmed down and from that moment on acting as security forces, will be subordinate to. The civilian effort should consist of food-aid, the creation and managing of temporary refugee camps, the improvement of infrastructure, the training of police forces and supplying the Kamynian army with the means to hold on to their won back territory among other things.

As stated previously, Roelandia is more than willing to contribute to the military portion of the effort.
As far as the civilian operation goes, Roelandia is willing and able to assist here as well, food-aid will be relatively easy to aquire and several Roelandian fast reaction teams can be quickly mobilized to see to its distribution and to the construction of emergency civilian housing. Other measures can be detailed at a later date by my government.

We also believe, as mister Regas suggested, that a demilitarized zone between the two countries is a warranted step to take and should indeed be enforced by an internationally recognised peacekeeper force. As Roelandia is due to take up the role of the next World Forum's chairman, this notion will be presented by us at the monthly conference.

This is the position the Roelandian delegation takes.

*As she ended her speech she briefly looked over the other delegates, trying to take in their reaction. After a brief moment she sat down and awaited their response.

Albricht was listening intently to Margoliss. With such speech it wasn't a surprise to him why this woman had won the elections, she was fit to rule a country like Roelandia. Linathia had been under the shadow of Roelandia for centuries, always in second place and always backing up their southern neighbors. Be it by the grace of Kaiser Siegfried the first who managed to avoid open conflict with Roelandia in years now long gone, or be it by the many chain of cunning Prime Ministers before Albricht that kept Roelandia as a profitable trade partner and a somewhat "Cultural" relative due to the territories of Southern Linathia.

It didn't bother him nor the Kaiserreich at all that Linathia had to be the "Second" in the world's stage, whatever Linathia did, Roelandia did it better; it was benefical in fact, a threat to Linathia was a threat to Roelandian economic interests and a threat to Roelandia was a threat to Linathia's Economic interests and Shared history. They were Linathia's trump card, a so called "Geopolitical Big Brother" as the Kaiserin would put it amicably. And if everyone was stating their willingness to see this coalition work, Linathia was ready to state their willingness too.

"As Prime Minister of the Linathian Empire, I speak with the Authority of Kaiserin Erika von Steiner. Before coming to this conference, her Imperial Highness wished to see a halt to this violence and find a swift solution to the Kamyn issue, she has entrusted me with the authority to prive any assets within her direct authority to provide. The Imperial Parlament has been informed of this and an emergency meeting has been summoned to approve military intervention in the country of Kamyn as part of this new Coalition" he cleared his throat and shifted to be more comfortable, showing a position of confidence and power, as any compentent politician should, play the psychology game.

"Linathia will provide Logistical support for the first phase of this Operation, we will contact the Imperial Air Force and will soon co-ordinate all efforts with the Roelandian Armed Forces while the approval of Linathia's military intervention is under way. Linathia is ready and able to support Roelandia and all member nations of this new international coalition. This is the position the Linathian delegation takes"

Ici Roelandia, Roelandia.
Unfortunately for the old Marjani, his gamble had failed. His gamble had failed miserably.

A Roelandian official had rushed down to the lobby as soon as Marjani had left. "Sir," The man began, only to he interrupted by the ambassador. "Do not call me sir, please! Marjani will do." Marjani exclaimed, getting up.

"We need your presence in the conference room, Marjani." The official said, clearly out of breath. As Marjani, the secretary and the official took the elevator up, the Kamynian dignitary was told about all that happened.

"Jesus fucking christ. No more tricks." He muttered, walking into the conference room, only to see the PEO Supreme Leader standing up with two soldiers flanking him.

"In the name of god, what did I miss?" Marjani said, the bewildered delegates staring at him now.

The Prime Eternal Order wrote: it's sad to me that this peace conference has failed tell me what is your final argument

"Master Snow, I must thank you for your patience in
wanting to listen to some final remarks. Therefore I urge you to sit down, in the name and best interests of both our states and both our peoples. With all due respect to all the other honorable dignitaries in this room, I request you all to cease any action taken regarding Kamyn."

Marjani took a deep breath, gesturing the PEO Supreme Leader to take a seat, and taking a seat next to him.

"I have been briefed about all that has gone on in the conference, and I will answer each delegate one by one. It was my mistake to have left so early, masters, and I should have realised that Kamyn still has some explaining to do." He began, putting on his glasses and rising once more.

The Prime Eternal Order wrote:after listening to Marjani And knowing that he was up next from Chanellor Margoliss He stood up and said
well this fits perfectly into what the Congress wanted here's what we want Holding up a Picture of a Panhandle and a little enclave

(Image)

Sorry for the size the Congress just sent it to me an hour ago and I had to use a portable printer
What's this food also have no tax on our will also six billion USD to buy this Panhandle and Enclave will also help boost Kamyn economy and provide military gain we will leave fit a sovereign state except for reinstating a government much like our own with Military and economic Support but I repeat no Prime Eternal Orders troops Will enter and it's lands unless it is being invaded by another country we will also guarantee this country and wish no guarantee in return I'm willing to negotiate on this deal except for the land we would take I am ready to negotiate he said wearing a big smile

let the games begin he thought himself

"Master Snow," Marjani began, taking a close look at the map. "From what I understand, the Prime Eternal Order wishes to purchase land from Kamyn, as well as implement a government similar to theirs, while giving all sorts of support.

As truly helpful as that support may be, the land remains an important part of Kamynian identity, and therefore is not - and will never be - for sale. Unfortunately, our government - which I am representing - will not take lightly to the offer of implementing a totally different government to control Kamyn while they're in power. "

Marjani shook his head. "This does not mean that we reject all PEO offers for peace. Perhaps a compromise can be reached, master?"

Marjani smiled, moving on to the speech that occurred after the PEO.

Linathia wrote: "Ambassador Marjani, Chancellor Margoliss, Minister Regas, Prime Minister Snow.

"We are glad that the Linathian nation stands with us in the name of peace and prosperity. However judging from the current situation, it is true that certain edits must be made to benefit all parties in this conflict." Marjani said. "The Prime Eternal Order have already made significant gains in Kamyn, and their help militarily will certainly benefit the coalition. Perhaps it would be a good idea to have them in the coalition?" Marjani continued.

"And believe me, masters. We are not leaving our fate to the Prime Eternal Order alone. We trust our fate to the international community as a whole, and the fall of Kamyn - the death of hundreds of thousands of Kamynians is a burden that will haunt us all. Therefore, we must work together. With the Prime Eternal Order as a partner."

Cavendian States wrote:

After briefly conferring with the other Cavendian diplomats, Regas spoke, "I second the coalition proposal put forth by both Mr. Marjani and Mr. Albricht. Mr. Marjani was correct when he said that the millions of lives are in our hands. This proposal will be absolutely crucial in ensuring that the future success and prosperity of the Kamynian people."

"Thank you. Thank you for your time," Regas finished.

"Again, masters, I believe we must not cast out the PEO from this coalition. They must cease hostilities with the Kamynian government, but must coordinate military engagements against the warlords. The DMZ is a brilliant idea, which indeed will allow us to maintain zero hostilities. Regarding reparations, I believe that the coalition shall together pay for it after the warlords are eliminated. That way the burden does not impact any of us heavily."

The Prime Eternal Order wrote:And said I respect you deeply you were a personal hero of mine growing up from being A Kaymn immigrants son and spoke in Kamyn tongue and said glory to Kamyn glory to The Prime Eternal Order glory to God let us have peace

he then went silent waiting for reaction

"It honors me greatly to recieve such respect from you, Master Snow. But you must realize, master, that this conference is not regarding a victor and a loser. It is ablut the preservation of peace in the region, and the preservation of any more deaths. It upsets us all that the previous Supreme Leader was killed by a sniper, and at the same time that two thousand PEO troops were killed in this conflict, but you must realize that is no one's fault. These were men in a warzone, even the late honorable Supreme Leader was a man in a warzone. And perhaps the only thing more widespread than bullets in a war is death - unfortunately we cannot do anything about that.

Furthermore, you have violated the sovereignty of the Republic of Kamyn and her civilian government. The coalition aims to restore and consolidate the sovereignty of this Republic and her civilian government. The warlords are third party groups that must be wiped out as they have destabilised this Kamynian state, whose sovereignty we are trying to preserve. And therefore these warlords, sir, are an enemy to us all."

Roelandia wrote:*As she ended her speech she briefly looked over the other delegates, trying to take in their reaction. After a brief moment she sat down and awaited their response.

"Madame, I wish to repeat what has been said to the respected dignitaries of the Cavendian States and Linathia. In the name of unity, we cannot exclude the Prime Eternal Order from the coalition - they are a strong force and a good ally who must not be disregarded. However, your idea of two phases is a good one, and we will expand on that once a proper deal with the Prime Eternal Order is reached."

Linathia wrote:"Linathia will provide Logistical support for the first phase of this Operation, we will contact the Imperial Air Force and will soon co-ordinate all efforts with the Roelandian Armed Forces while the approval of Linathia's military intervention is under way. Linathia is ready and able to support Roelandia and all member nations of this new international coalition. This is the position the Linathian delegation takes"

"Master, I request you to cease all actions to be taken regarding Kamyn, as stated before. The negotiations are not over, and only will end once The Prime Eternal Order knows of the conclusion. We must all take action after this conference."

The Prime Eternal Order wrote:Simon Snow just glared

"Master Snow, I ask you to keep calm. No such declaration had occurred, and we are all here in the name of peace and Kamyn. You told me earlier - Glory to Kamyn. Act on your words and stay in this room, so we may negotiate a peace that suits us all."

An exhausted Marjani collapsed into his chair, as the delegates stared at him. "I apologize. Now, Kamyn submits an offer to all parties in this conflict. We have two parts - one in which Kamyn, instead of giving the panhandle and other areas which the PEO desires, will welcome PEO businesses and multinationals to set shop in Kamyn, where they can work at lower rates and without intervention. Kamyn and the PEO will also sign an economic pact. Both states will cease hostilities permanently. The second part involves the coalition deal, but we will expand on that only after the PEO accepts peace." Marjani said, evidently exhausted, wiping sweat from his brow. The secretary - still very diligent and all-observing - rushed to get his ambassador some water and (having been told by the Kamynian government officials earlier) a small pill, which relieves Marjani of exhaustion to some degree. Secretly, of course, the secretary hoped that the Linathian girl would notice how hard working he was.

Marjani took his medicine and patiently looked at the rest of the table. He was going to go home only when a peace deal was reached. And in the name of Kamyn, he was going to get one.

Chancellor Margoliss nodded through most of of Marjani's reaction. She had hoped that prime eternal order would crack under the mounting international pressure, which is why she threw in her support for the proposed international coalition so quickly and so vibrantly. She now realized that this was rather naive as the prime eternal order had already shown a willingness to defy the international community and wasn't going to back down when they had nothing to gain from giving up their ambitions in Kamyn.

"Gentlemen, Roelandia whishes to modify its statement.

We realize now that it is indeed not prudent that we would ask the Prime eternal order to just walk away without some kind of assurances. Mainly in the economic part of the equation there may be a case to be made, economic ties and mutual dependency could lessen the chance of a reoccurence of the current situation. However, the area of the most important geopolitical consequence are the eastern Kamynian oil fields. The oil fields that the various warlords still fight over and use to fund their private armies through the black market sale of oil. We believe it is prudent that the entire oil industry of the new Kamyn should be either fully government operated or auctioned off well by well to private companies taking into account a regime of healthy competition. I do not whish to exclude PEO companies of joining in the auction but I would like assurances that they can only aquire a maximum of 10% of the country's oil reserves as this will be Kamyn's economic cornerstone for generations to come. Any nation, especially a former enemy that has control of such a 'commanding height' of the Kamynian economy is bound to start abusing it. We don't want want to see the prime eternal order taking control of Kamyn through soft power actions rather than hard power ones. As for paying reparations, Roelandia feels that the responsibility for that does not lie with the international community at large. We are however willing to offer structural aid and knowhow in regards to construction and industry but feel that the brunt of the actual cost should be carried by the prime eternal order. Return on Investments made by prime eternal order companies in Kamyn will have to make up for the bleed of their treasury."

*Chancellor Margoliss turned to Marjani

"Per your recommendations mister Marjani, Roelandia sees it fit to allow the Prime eternal order to join the coalition although I think it is prudent that they will never solely carry out any missions under coalition mandate and should always be paired up with forces from the other participating countries. This will allow the prime eternal order to take part in the effort while still laying to rest reservations about their conduct through the presence of observers from other countries."

Simon Snow dismissed the Soldiers and said thank You Mr. marjani You seem to be the only one who is treating this conference Members as equals. If you Excuse me I will go and talk to the senate.

He walked out and talked to the senators for a couple of minutes when Chancellor Margoliss Midway thru her speech the Prime eternal order to just walk away without some kind of assurances…

He then spoke after Chancellor Margoliss was done and Said

Is my belief that countries Bond over two things war and money this is why I believe that the prime Eternal order will join kamyn in an economic alliance Funding them with our Mass trade Empire I believe that you should be able to decide on the government however so not become a puppet state of The Prime Eternal Order which was not my intent we wish to spread order to this world and ordered has not come with allies not trusting each other the Senate has gotten back to me and they would wish to sign the Treaty of Ici Roelandia Which will have an economic pact between Kamyn and The Prime Eternal Order and any country that wish to join in this economic Alliance secondly this will create a demilitarized zone along the Kamyn border that will be a half a mile long thirdly this will give government Rehabilitation to those who wish to have it not including The Prime Eternal Order last week fourthly The Prime Eternal Order will guarantee Kamyn fifthly that's if anyone declares a war against the sovereign state we should have a military Alliance to team up on that nation that declares war but if they write a declaration of war with a week's notice it will be voted on by the alliance if any country any of the rules they will be kicked out of the alliance We should also create a Continental currency He finished but there's one more thing I wished to have for The Prime Eternal Order to be officially recognized as a Pibean nation Not a Tachi I am willing to sign this treaty right now if there's any changes you wish to add please let me know and I will notify the Senate

Regas let out an internal sigh. Fortunately, the Prime Eternal Order seemed to want peace, minutes after they had taken the conference's proposals as a declaration of war. However, he felt like the conference was going too fast for his liking. He turned to the Prime Eternal Order's delegation and spoke, "With all due respect, Mr. Snow, we are still very far from creating a comprehensive peace treaty. While I admire your desire for a quick resolution to this conflict, the details must be sorted out first."

"Chancellor, I am afraid that the Cavendian delegation must continue to voice our opposition to the Prime Eternal Order's participation in the international coalition. I respect Mr. Marjani's opinion, but I believe that he does not understand the full extent of our concerns regarding the Prime Eternal Order as a reliable coalition partner. I do not intend to badmouth or defame the Prime Eternal Order's delegation," Regas stated, glancing at Snow, "I will simply lay out the truth. On June 5, 2018, former Supreme Leader Alexander Kalersign contacted President McClellan. The initial message simply wished us to stay neutral. After McClellan informed Supreme Leader Kalersign that neutrality was not an option, the Prime Eternal Order then proceeded to offer a bribe of 2 billion in exchange for neutrality. I think that the delegations here will see a number of obvious problems with this that reflects poorly on the Prime Eternal Order."

"That is only the tip of the iceberg. The Cavendian delegation also bears a number of other reservations regarding the Prime Eternal Order's participation. One of them being the relationship between the coalition and the Kamynian people. While I must applaud the Prime Eternal Order's desire to make peace, that does not dismiss the fact that, in the eyes of many Kamynians, the Prime Eternal Order is a foreign invader. They have killed Kamynian soldiers and civilians. I am of the conviction that including them in the coalition would destroy any attempts at building up a relationship with the Kamynian people, while also serving as propaganda for the various warlords who will be eager to seize any opportunity to undermine the legitimate civilian government."

"The Cavendian Commonwealth is willing to participate in the coalition, under the two-phase plan proposed by Chancellor Margoliss. The Commonwealth, with its sizable army, navy, and air force, could provide invaluable support to Kamyn. We can be heavily involved in both the military and civilian phases of the operation."

"We will not oppose the Prime Eternal Order's entry in the coalition, provided that they receive majority support among the delegations in this peace conference. However, if they join, I am afraid that the Cavendian Commonwealth will have deep reservations about entering such a coalition. We cannot and will not work with a partner whom we cannot trust."

"That is all," Regas concluded.

Chancellor Margoliss made a quick remark before giving the floor to the other delegates

"Mister Regas, while I agree that the prime eternal order's trustworthiness is seriously in doubt, we are here at this conference to build trust, something that mister Marjani has kindly reminded us of. That said, I hope that the prime eternal order can provide this conference with a good reason for us to extend our trust."

Albricht listened quietly to the whole exchange was going down south a little bit. But Regas was correct, the Prime Eternal Order's trust was at stake. Leaning back on his chair the Prime Minister was deep in thought as he recieved the information. With the Prime Eternal Order Delegation taking this whole peace conference as an act of war he wasn't keen on rejecting the PEO's entry into the coalition, yet he couldn't oppose his morals and change his opinion of the PEO overnight.

Personally Albricht thought that Prime Minister Snow was a madman just like his former ruler Alexander Kalersign, calling for a conference and brokering a peace summit was easier said than done of course, and Albricht couldn't imagine the pressure Marjani or Eva were going through, he has known Eva ever since she was campaigning, and he has studied Ambassador Marjani's career through university, a quiet yet somewhat successful career. But sadly, he was going to side with the Cavendian States.

"I'm afraid chancellor that I am with Minister Regas, the Linathian Empire as willing as we are to participate in both phases of this operation, we too have the obligation to voice our opposition to the PEO's addition to this coalition, with all the due respect Mr. Snow deserves of course" he said, giving Minister Regas a brief glance "The PEO's administration before Kalersign asassination was extremely erratic and had sent many private communiques directly to her Imperial Majesty, lacking any protocol and even summoning her Majesty into international waters" His voice was kept stoic and serious, then he spoke to Prime Minister Snow "I would like to remind you Prime Minister that we are talking about the future of thousends of Kamynian civilians, how can we declare war when we are talking about securing the life and country of innocents" his voice clearly tensing around Snow. But after a moment, Albricht managed to collect himself

"I want this conference to achieve a peaceful goal for the peace of Kamyn, and the Linathian Empire is more than willing to participate in this noble endeavour. But voicin'g Minister Regas concern and point of view, we must think of the Kamynians who have had to fight the PEO's forces not out of spite, but of sheer patriotism of defending their homeland form a foreign invader and now, they will have to look at them as saviours. I can't imagine how it would feel for a Kamynian to be forced to see the soldiers that have killed their children, mothers, fathers, etcetera until this whole process is complete" he looked at every other delegate including chancellor Margoliss. "We won't oppose the PEO's entry into the Coalition, but just like the honorable Minister here has said, we cannot and will not work with a potential ally that may stab us in the back. Unless an agreement can be reached" he stated, adding "Or like Chancellor Margoliss said, if the PEO Delegation can provide a convincing argument. If not, the Empire will seriously reconsider it's participation in this Coalition as well"

"Thank you for your support, Mr. Albricht," Regas replied in an appreciative tone. It wasn't surprising to see Cavendia be so opposed to the Prime Eternal Order's entry in the coalition. Cavendian public opinion was already extremely hostile towards the country after the bribery plot scandal.

Regas turned to address the Chancellor, "Yes, indeed, I agree. One of the purposes of this conference is to build trust. However, I must reiterate that our strained relationship with the Prime Eternal Order is not the only reason for our opposition to their entry in the coalition. There are other perfectly valid concerns -- it would be foolish to undermine the goals of the coalition for the sake of 'building trust.'"

"Regardless of all that, I understand your point. The Cavendian delegation is willing to make a few concessions for the sake of peace. We will not oppose an economic pact between the Prime Eternal Order and Kamyn, provided that it is carried out with the consent of the legitimate Kamynin government and does not serve to harm Kamyn."

"Of course, we're also willing to shift our position, provided that the Prime Eternal Order is able to make a convincing argument. However -- unless I am mistaken -- the delegation of the Prime Eternal Order has not yet outlined their stance in regards to their involvement in the coalition..."
