the idea is that there's a DEFCON feel of you know millions are going to their deaths. but those millions are presented entirely as a statistic.

It's already too late for that. I don't mind being at the side of totally NS-based nations like Crysuko, as long they get their place to dance on this party.

Alright, got my first actual post up on the eastern front thread. The only military action I can really do at this time is airstrikes. Don’t be afraid to send some alien capsules my way!

Some quick points though of the current situation in New Axiom:
The state run media has completely shut down New Axioms Internal internet and censored all news regarding the invasion.

Nukes will be used as a last resort weapons.

The military units currently taking action in the English Channel have only been briefed on an “attack by an unidentified enemy.” No one outside the scientific community or government really believes they’re aliens. Yet.

Edit; crap, I hadn’t realized Martians landed in Germany. I’ll cover that in my next post.

Tech Level and Description: PMT. Large plasma weapons (that are mounted on tanks and other "heavy" vehicles) that fire kinetic shots which are coated in plasma. Soldiers use armour similar to the stormtrooper armour the Russian is working on IRL at the moment. Genetic engineering is used to make certain groups of soldiers more powerful. Interdimensional travel and Evangelion like mechs are in early experimental phases.
Military Description: PMT. Most soldiers (around 60%) are bog standard modern western stuff. 25% Is more advanced stuff (with the suits coming in to play) 10% Are mildly genetically augmented troops and the last 5% are not only heavily augmented but also have cybernetic replacements for certain limbs and organs. Hybridization technology is being worked on. Jack has come up with (seemingly) outlandish idea of making human pokemon hybrids, which is (possibly) impossible due to obvious reasons. Then again, that dimensional tech might cough up...something?

I will update the map and add you in the next time we have a major border change, pay close attention to the Eastern Front because that’s most likely where the action is going to be... and you’re right there (at least you’re not Eclius).
