OOC: This thread is for the purpose of a meeting between Ressian Government Officials and the Secretary of State and President of Argentinstan, Mr. Homer Simpson and Mr. Elijah Turner, respectively. This meeting will occur in Krakow, Resja, on the 05/07/2018.
IC: Ressian Officials, including President of the Presidium, Comrade Jarka Kovac, Chairwoman of the Central Committee and RIMI First Secretary and People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs, Comrade Eva Bogdanov and 3 Argentine Students attending Ressian Universities (who have had the privilege to observe the meeting and meet those who took part in the meeting) await the arrival of the President and Secretary of State at the Krakow International Airport.
A runway has been cleared for what we assume to be the Presidential Aeroplane (Air Force One?), and many Ressians patiently and excitably await the arrival of the plane. Many schools are conducting field trips as a part of a Civics Unit, and the hallways are lined with students waving Ressian and Argentine flags, many singing the Ressian National Anthem and some Argentine songs.
Propaganda is displayed throughout the airport for the meeting, with photos of Comrade Kovac and Mr Turner hanging together under slogans such as: 'Argentine-Ressian Prosperity', 'Friends of Mother Resja', and just plain 'Nasza Matka Resja (Our Mother Ressia)'.
Those attending the meeting have been cleared by Customs, and a path from the tarmac to the convoy is clearly defined. The convoy, including Limousines, motorcycles, Tatra Reds (Jeeps, pretty much) and a few tanks ("Just in case", really just a publicity stunt to show off new military equipment) will drive the long way to the People's Palace (a ceremonial residence, filled with rooms for the displaced or those under government care, also with meeting rooms and large halls), through the rural areas outside of Krakow, to show off the booming agricultural sector of the economy, and back through the main roads of the city, turning more or less into a parade, before taking a direct route to the Palace. The meeting will hopefully cover a proposed Non-Aggression Pact, a trade agreement, furthering educational agreements (such as Ressian being taught at Arg schools, and vice versa) and bilateral military exercises.
After the meeting, a ceremonial stroll through Krakow and through the Botanic Gardens is scheduled for the day after, as well as a tour of the local Voivod (province) meeting school students, farmers, and artists, and a tour of an Argentine university in Resja (If these Universities agree, of course, that is up to Arg). This second day will also have the Premier and General Secretary Comrade Sophia Dimitrova present.
