Roman smirked at the 5th crusade comment and then began explaing the plan that he had personally made. "The plan is to 1st establish air and naval superiority. Step 2 get all other nations out of Azadistan. Step 3 invade at 3 points acrosd Azadistani each in a combined arms naval landing and they will seperate into three groups. One will rusj the capital with the majority of the advanced Fortress tanks the other two will capture stratigic objectives and eventully send a portion of their unit surround the caputal. Step 4 eliminate mafia'd and capture government, and step 5 secure the country and eventully establish a stable government. So what do you all think?"
"I say," Fowler piped up, "Steps 1 and 2 have to be combined. I'm tired of these damn attack attempts on Exodian soil- they attempted to evacuate the POWs we had captured last night, and we had to shoot them down. I hear you've engaged their navy in international waters, and I hope that has warded them off- because back home, Helsen's preparing an even larger battlegroup, with 21 guided-missile destroyers, 28 big-gun destroyers, 18 amphibious assault vessels, a shit-ton of cruisers and frigates- and two battleships and carriers to finish the job, but they've been delayed by the presence of the Azadistanis. We've already got two Guardian-class assault submarines and a Phalanx-class cruise missile submarine traveling north towards the Suez." Fowler mused. "I'd say your plan's great, and it's got the basics- but elements from my original one would help fine-tune it.
You see, we could divide up roles between each nation's military. General Kacik, you have your fleet provide cover for our Navy to reach the Mediterranean. Kaiser, I think it's best to launch a premature 'softening-up' attack alongside our submarines on areas around Azadistan and liberate them, while Mr. Smith- Your air force could be valuable in launching light, continuous airstrikes meant to harass Azadistani troop movements and halt their advance. Us Exodians bring additional firepower, and once it's arrived, we all rush B and invade their largest or second largest city while surrounding their capital. A maneuver like that would drain resources, especially on their expansionist troop movements in Munkchester, and would make both cities fall almost simultaneously."
"I've commissioned long-range flybys with my superheavy strategic Archangel bombers around the Azadistani borders, but that huge-ass Librarian/Austorian zeppelin's in the air and blocking further movement. I would have rained hell on every military post in the nation as well, but they've got a heavy tank and AA line around their borders. We're stuck so far, and we have to destroy those in order to advance." General Fen added. "Anything to say, Luke?"
"Yeah. I'd place a joint armored-artillery-infantry rush on that tank line, with basic missile cover from our subs and PPC vessels." General Charing piped up. "Fortress tanks, you say? I'd say my own Constantine superheavies would finally get a chance to see some proper action- leading an invasion, not protecting against one. And Kaiser... don't you have a little something we could use in this situation?"
