Since it seems the war is calming down in parts of the country my "Congress" (its a puppet) will approve a 21 million USD aid package along with 135 engineers of the Army Corp of Engineers. If you have oil in your country can an oil company set up some rigs and maybe even a refinery?

I mean I fired torps at the Syrian navy and performed Airstrikes on a convoy but I am looking to wind down my militaries involvement in the conflict. The void left by the civil war is very enticing to some companies and I am going to start going that way. Also since it seems the Frelibre-Khataiy talks have broken down so Grater Tovakia Is willing to facilitate talks between KDF, Khataiy, and Syria.

Hey, been a while, unexpected travelling (once again) combined with a lack of interest kinda put me out of this RP. I was also concerned about the amount of nations constantly joining and having to keep up with their posts and backgrounds, it was honestly putting me off. Their ideology: Various strains of Liberal-Democracy, ranging from Thatcherite Free-Market views to Democratic Socialism. The Current Government is Social Democratic. Valaran is also rather imperialist (in the neutral sense of the word), internationalist and interventionist -- normally this means adancing both nation interests and normative principles, such as (some) self-determination, human rights, democratic freedom, but also international stability.
Goals for the region: To prevent the human rights abuses of the Government, to support KDF self-determination, to resist Turkish influence, and to advance Valaran interests (primarily economic-diplomatic) in the region.
Brief history: Valaran is a northern western island archipelago, heavily forested and mountainous. It is a constitutional monarchy and de facto Parliamentary Democracy, noted for its hard-edged diplomatic nous, shipbuilding and banking industries, and moral... fluidity. Valaran has had two imperial phases, the first broadly from 1450-1650, and the second from 1760-1970. How: Valaran doctrine is largely predicated on the controlled application power as a necessary precondition to political solutions. Thus, it will attack the government's military capacity, and if necessary, that of its foreign allies, in order to force both to accept the independence of the KDF.
Why: Valaran has little love for the Arab state of Khataiy, viewing it as hostile to Valaran interests. Yet this was largely a passive antipathy, for Valaran has seen no reason to risk further instability, and has approved of Khataiy's opposition to Assad. However, this changed with the attempted ethnic cleansing of Kurdish villages, and the general loss of control to rebel factions. The Valaran policy-elite has taken the view that the Khataiyan government is no longer a stabilising force, and so should be forced to accept the political demands of the KDF. In turn, Valaran expects to establish a beneficial relationship with the KDF.
