Alright so, I think I finally have a basic outline of what I wanna do with Solaryia in the war.

At first Solaryia attempts to stay neutral in the conflict, continuing to trade with both sides of the war as it rages in the seas around them. However as the war progresses, they start to lead more and more to the Free Powers side, both being ideologically against the neo-imperialists, as well as fearing for their own sovereignty as the Magarati’s expand. Firstly they cease trading with the Magaratis, and it gradually goes to the Solaryi starting to negotiate with Almorea and Nhoor for them to use Solaryi naval and air bases in order to assault Athara Magarat.

Through some means, maybe an intercepted radio transmission, AM learns about these negotiations, and launches an attack on an unprepared Solaryia. They quickly seize many of the coastal cities, however the rough mountainous terrain in the center of the country favours the Solaryi, and they make the inland city of Visegrad their new capital, while the “official” government has surrendered. They’re able to resist using guerilla tactics for the remnant of the war with supplies coming in from the Free Powers, and eventually take back the entirety of the country as the FP starts winning.

Also got a uniform picked out, so that’s pretty fun too

[Dormill and Stiura]

Since I'm somewhat back in action, I might as well requote the section of my internal history to give context for the part Dormill and Stiura played in the Imperial War.

[a whole lot of corruption being revealed] would lead to [President Hugo Sonner's] impeachment where he would be found guilty in a year later, ending with his removal from office and the nullification of the Sonner Administration. The entire Sonner Administration was implicated in the trial and everybody excluding Othmar Geary, the Minister of the Interior who was appointed after Sonner's reelection, had resigned in disgrace if they weren’t removed from power by the National Congress itself. Geary was now left with a nation that was dividing quickly between its distinct ethnic and cultural lines, threatening a deadly Civil War if nothing was done to stop it. This is where Ludovic Denis stepped in.

In 1939, the Presidential Elections saw the nationalist upstart, Ludovic Denis beat Othmar Geary with promises to eventually assert Dormill-Stiuraian dominance once again, and restore honor to the Dormill-Stiuraian people. Under his early administration, the United Republics refused to be party to the Rickemonde Accords on Imperialism and the Nolon City Naval Treaty, citing that both does nothing to limit current empires while hampering any other nation from acting freely. These actions and the contentious election beforehand caused a fracturing in the national fabric, initaly between the supporters of the quasi-dictator and those who opposed him, but soon turned to ethnic, religious, and political divisions. Soon, even tensions within the National Congress began to reach a boiling point as the President began to push for discriminatory legislation that would permanently divide Dormill-Stiuraian society into castes, where the pure French Dormillian Catholics would stand above the remainder of the nation as the nobility while every other citizen, most especially those of mixed origins, were to be deemed as "impure monsters".

The Republics of Lieurneux, which had always been the bastion of the racist concept of "High French Culture" up to that point, and Avillon, which saw the movement of Powelish across their borders as dangerous, stood behind the legislation while the remainder of the Republics stood against it, for good will or not. This resulted in the States-General becoming entirely incapable of functioning as all of the Republics fought over who would represent them, typically resulting in a "revolving door" situation with several Republics as stadtholders joined, quit after the session ended, or were withdrawn. The Assembly was little better while facing a similar situation, however, since the average people controlled the election of the members of the Assembly, they could gain some amount of progress on the necessary legislation to maintain the United Republics. Unfortunately, as the situation worsened, both Communists and Fascists began to openly fight for control of the Assembly and on the streets. Eventually, the United Republics broke down as various Republics began the process to secede from the Union, eventually leaving Lieurneux and Avillon alone as the remaining Republics got their bearings as new nations, leaving the door open to invasion by the Francophile Fascists. By the time of 1941, all but the former territories in Samudera were "reconquered" by the United Republics, with its Denis being declared President-for-Life shortly before the outbreak of the Imperial War. He would remove his own Vice President shortly thereafter, and moved the United Republics to war against Noronica and the remainder of the Free Powers. However, constant resistance made the war impossible to fight for the United Republics and President Denis was eventually killed by revolutionaries in 1946, with the remainder of the government of the United Republics surrendering to Noronica on New Year's 1947. Four months of occupation and negotiations followed, ending with the complete dissolution of the United Republics of Dormill and Stiura, and several territorial concessions, most notably the annexation of the city of South Alban.

To make things relatively short:

• Hugo Sonner, a business magnate who won his initial election in 1919 on a populist platform to get Dormill and Stiura back on track from the Great War, was impeached in 1935 after it was revealed he rigged both of his elections and was embezzling government funds into his own company.
• Following his removal, Othmar Geary, then the Interior Minister, became President to serve out the remainder of the 10-year term.
• Geary, having never faced an election before and was a lifelong bureaucrat, was easy pickings for the fascist (and of course Great War Veteran) Ludvoic Denis, who went hardcore on Sonner's populist rhetoric and dialed it up to 11.
• Simultaneously, fascistic elements across D&S began to start culture wars, initially between the Christian and European Doraltic core and the Gaeltic "outsiders" but devolved into deeper sectarian divides between the Dutch Protestant and French Catholic halves of the nation, risking a Doraltic Civil War if left unresolved.
• As all this was happening, the central government at Cour Rouge completely fell apart thanks to rank abuses of power by the Republics on the States-General, the upper house, preventing the chamber and ultimately all of Congress from doing work.
• In the end of 1939, the Dutch Republics seceded from the United Republics, citing a growing list of abuses thrust upon them by the French half of the nation. At the same time, Ardeda (which replaces all mentions of Poloange or Powelish) also had its own independence revolution, seeking to finally detach itself from the United Republics while the iron was hot. Any remaining colonies of D&S at that time also split away, their internal administrations simply taking down the Doraltic flag and never raising it again.
• This Civil War technically overlapped the entire extent of the Imperial War, as while the territory of the Dutch Republics were eventually taken by 1941, a significant left-liberal resistance had already taken its place, forcing Denis' United Republic to constantly fight a variable intensity guerilla war within its own borders (ripe for exploitation by the Free Powers wink wink nudge nudge)
• Eventually, Denis declared war on Noronica to go after Arvan (as you do) thus officially dragging Dormill and Stiura into the Imperial War, Doraltic participation beyond Gael was quickly cut off thanks to the classic Noronnican blockade, leading the United Republic to make a path to the sea through its neighbors, namely Roendavar and Orsandia
• Ultimately though, without aid from the rest of the Neo-Imperialists and fighting a multi-front war across the entirety of Central and Northern Gael, a Nornnican-led invasion of the French half of Dormill and Stiura breaks the camel's back, with Denis being ousted in an internal coup and handed over to the Free Powers just after Noronnican forces crossed the Kapolder river.
• The war now ended, the resistance in the Dutch Republics finally boiled over into a full-fledged revolt, ending with the establishment of multiple states which would eventually, with bloodshed, form the Second Stiuraian Republic.

Now that I'm fully back in it, I want to give a true and definitive update to this, and present a full timeline of events that Dormill and Stiura experienced throughout the entire Imperial War.

• 1939, August: The Dutch Republics and Ardeda separately declare independence from the United Republics, citing a large list of abuses levied against them by Ludvoic Denis and his Revolution and Restoration Party. Any remaining Doraltic colonies internationally also assert their independence, the existing governments taking over from former central authority directly.
• 1939, September: Nullifying the Constitution, Ludvoic Denis assumes complete control over the United Republics, directing military and paramilitary forces to invade and retake the seceding Republics. Mutinies across the Army and Navy against Denis undermines initial operations.
• 1940, January: Navy mutiny ends with Adm. Lukas Monet Jr. taking 2 Battleships, a Heavy Cruiser, and an assortment of smaller ships to Swaneeak Atoll. He would eventually join the Free Powers and fight alongside the Osean Navy against Doravo and Collie.
  
  • Army Mutiny ends in an officer purge, most replacements are retired officers from the Great War and the rest are ideologically aligned to Denis.
• 1940, Late January: With the military back under control, Denis orders an invasion of Ardeda through the Van Curan Valley, which is met with limited resistance by an ill-prepared Ardedan force.
  
  • First Van Curan Valley Campaign ends in major victory of Denisian forces, Boissieux and Enoire are captured, Ardedan forces flee to the border or to Temple, where they will hold out for the rest of the war.
• 1940, March: Denisian forces cross the Kapolder for the first time since the initial fighting started, the City of Kapolder remains a major area of fighting, but mobile tank forces encircle the city from South Kapolder. International volunteers from AM, Roendavar, Ostehaar, Doravo, and other coming powers, would begin filtering into the war.
• 1940, April: Tank forces push out from Kapolder, capturing Veldzicht before most of the anti-Denisian government could escape. Merv De Vries, leader of anti-Denisian forces, would escape to Stafford under cover of darkness.
  
  • 28 April: Kapolder surrenders, POWs would be taken to prison camps in the far east while civilians are redistributed from the city. Mass rape and atrocities, paritcularly of a sectariain variety, are committed against the civilian population. The oldest church in Kapolder is also destroyed by Denisian tanks in a show of force.
• 1940, Late April: Infantry reaches Veldzicht, Panzergrenadiers (or the nearest equivalent to early mechanized infantry) are formed and join tank forces in Vroomenstadt and on the approach to Stafford.
• 1940, May: Tank skirmish in central Stiura between Denisian and anti-Denisian forces, Helle becomes the next target for conquest.
  
  • Air and Naval bombardment of Stafford, Port Orange, and New Leeuwarden begin in earnest, crippling anti-Denisian morale.
• 1940, June: Helle falls in late May, tank forces directly threaten Eppendorf and Zwolle. Bombardment of Port Orange, Stafford, and New Leeuwarden intensifies, Denis starts demanding the surrender of De Vries and the end of the conflict.
• 1940, July: De Vries escapes to Roendavar alongside a core group of supporters, orders remaining forces in Stiura to surrender. Most would, excluding leftist forces, who escape to Kettingwier, and then Vlagberg, to continue the fight.
• 1940, August: Denis declares victory in the Doraltic Civil War, uses the war as pretense for maintaining power and mobilizing the economy and population.
  
  • Naval Plan "CURTAIN CALL” is enacted, United Republics begins massive shipbuilding program in direct violation of the Nolon (or replacement) Naval Treaty, it would produce 5 battleships, 8 light carriers, 6 fleet carriers, 8 battlecruisers, 5 heavy cruisers, and a plethora of other ships over the course of the Imperial War.
• 1940, September: Manhunt for De Vries begins in earnest, secret police are deployed en masse to hunt for him, his cabal, or any sympathizers. The secret police would also use this as an excuse to hunt and imprison people contrary to Denis’ vision of the nation, starting with non-Europeans.
• 1940, November: The Foreign Intelligence Directorate confirms that Merv De Vries has resettled in Docaria, Roendavar, under protection of the Roendavarian government as “President of the Interim National Congress of Dormill and Stiura”.
  
  • 6 November: Denis would issue an ultimatum to the Roendavarian government to surrender De Vries and his collaborators to Dormill and Stiura for crimes against the state and people. It is set for two weeks.
• 1940, 14 November: The Roendavarian response is not forthcoming, Denis arranges forces near Roendavarian-Doraltic border, including reusing the old star fort near the Malis River.
• 1940, 20 November: With no response from Roendavar, Dormill and Stiura declares war and invades, sweeping aside initial forces at Faerin and Relanthir.
  
  • Both cities would suffer greatly during the war, becoming the main points where Roendavarian civilians and POWs are sent before being brought into D&S, or as the war drew to a close, were killed en masse.
• 1941, January: Vastaros is entirely overrun by Denisian forces, Lantaroci holds out with naval aid provided by the Roendavarian Navy. Mieras falls in mid-January, opening the door to Docaria.
• 1941, 16 March: Simultaneous attacks across the Isles by Magarati, Doravan, Colliean, Martenykian, and Doraltic forces marks the official start of the Imperial War, with the Neo-Imperialist representatives meeting in Concordia to establish their alliance.
• 1941, April: Althoros falls, Doraltic forces begin to invade the outskirts of Docaria. De Vries and Roendavarian leadership remain in the city to organize the defense.
• 1941, April - 1944, October: The Battle of Roendavar persists for three long years, as Neo-Imperialist and Free Power forces trade blows and territory until, finally, Doraltic forces are dislodged from their dug-in positions across Docaria.
  
  • During this time, Doraltic forces would participate, on a limited basis, in the war across the Isles, including defending points of interest in Collie, Martneykia, and Doravo, assisting in the Keverai Campaign, and fighting in the Eterna.
  • Ostehaar would also join the war in 1941, though fighting in the east is limited thanks to limited forces and effective defenses.
  • On the Naval front, the new Doraltic Navy would focus its attention on convoy raiding in the Argean, attempting to undermine shipments to Segentova and Altera in support of their war effort.
• 1945, January: Doraltic forces are driven entirely out of Docaria, and increased pressure is put on northern forces at Caenera, they will be dislodged from their positions by the end of the month.
• 1946, February: Free Powers forces invade Dormill and Stiura through Roendavar, New Leeuwarden is declared a frontline city and intense fighting consumes the area. Vlagberg is also attacked around the same time, and forces are diverted there to defend.
• 1946, June: New Leeuwarden and Vlagberg are overwhelmed, Port Orange is abandoned and new defenses are made at Zwolle, Eppendorf, and Stafford.
• 1946, July: At the exact same time a major offensive begins along the Orange River, a Free Powers invasion of Ambreieux changes the situation of the war entirely.
• 1946, 21 July - 1 September: Defenses in the North Coast fall apart, great swathes of land are taken by Free Powers up to Abancourt, where a new defensive line is made.
• 1946: September: River-based defenses at Zwolle fall, largest loss of soldiers, industry, and civilian population throughout the entire war.
• 1946, 30 October: Partisans and special forces, led by Merv De Vries, [a Roendavarian general], and [an Alteran general], infiltrate Cour Rouge and capture Ludvoic Denis and parts of his cabal. Organized defense of Dormill and Stiura collapse by the next day.
• 1964, 18 November: Free Powers forces cross the Kapolder river at Vellemoz, General Bernard Fèvre, then Chief of the Army staff, surrendered that evening, ending all organized fighting between Dormill and Stiura and the Free Powers.
• 1947, 1 January: Ludvoic Denis is forced to sign an unconditional surrender of Dormill and Stiura to the Free Powers while imprisoned in Nolon City (or replacement). He would be publicly executed by guillotine a year later after standing trial and testifying to war crimes at the post-war tribunal.

As always, this list is subject to changes and updates as the Imperial War changes around us but this is, at its core, the full canon timeline that D&S experienced for the Imperial War.

I was thinking they'd get invaded around February of 1942, and then the official government would surrender in late 1942/early 1943. There would be resistance in the mountains up until they were relieved in early 1946 by Free forces, and assist in the late stages of liberating San Montagna, and the later invasion of Magarat in 1947.
However the country would likely be militarily and economically crippled from the 5 years of occupation and resistance, and would likely not be able to give more than a small token force, instead giving their less ruined allies airfields and ports from which to act as frontline bases against Magarat.

Neo-Imps, I have some ideas for you regarding what Martenyika was preparing prior to official involvement in 1943, and in particular how it could play a role in the 1942 invasion of Diachen/Keverai.

1. AM, DS, Doravo: Could Martenyika have sent military observers and purchased military equipment (even the odd license?) in early 1941 following the Christmas Deal?

2. AM, Doravo: In early-late 1941 I think a TBD number of Martenyikans would've volunteered to fight scattered about in Neo-Imp armed forces, could some of joined yours? It could have been arranged at the Christmas Deal that the government would quietly facilitate those who wanted to volunteer for the Neo-Imp cause. I TG'd Aromea about this a day or two ago, and I assume Aromea would be a more popular destination since its much closer to Martenyika. But some could've gone to your nations, especially because if I'm not mistaken you both had historical tensions with the Iszkari Confederation(?).

3. AM, Doravo, Coille, Aromea if applicable: I'm working on an idea for Martenyika's wish.com Condor Legion which could've joined the Diachen/Keverai invasion force in 1942, under the banner of a Neo-Imp host nation. This would be approximately a battalion/brigade strength unit made up of definitely-not-Martenyikan-military volunteers + their equipment, but fighting under the insignias and command of its host nation. Do either of you want to be the host/will you be in the invasion? I imagine that with its merchant marine focus, Coille could serve as a "neutral third party" to obfuscate the delivery of men and military equipment.

Absolutely we can definitely transport men and material as a "neutral party" probably joining in officially when a convoy is sunk.

Probably. So far the IW1 plan with Aizcona goes as follows:
I push into the North of Aizcona and push far into Keverai with the Aizconans able to hold the Tsunterlands back in a stalemate within Aizconan borders for awhile and almost completely being pushed out of Keverai until later in the war when Aizcona is able to counter as the Neo-Imps start to lose.

I push into the North of Aizcona and push far into Keverai with the Aizconans able to hold the Tsunterlands back in a stalemate within Aizconan borders for awhile and almost completely being pushed out of Keverai until later in the war when Aizcona is able to counter as the Neo-Imps start to lose.

IMPERIAL WAR ONE

Gday! So it’s been at least three years since this project began and there’s been heaps of contributions. However, over time as we all know nations come and go and that makes collaborative history projects such as this quite difficult as people try to work their way through various different comments and posts from people and necessary adjustments to the history and storylines of the war as a result. The aim of this post is to make it a lot easier for people to get up to speed with how this project has come along in a broad sense in order to help them see where they could fit in. In addition to this, I have been thinking over some areas of the war we could really hone in on as well as some questions that need to be answered surrounding the project.

So what I’ve done is I’ve looked through the thread so far and tried to compile a storyline with the canon that can still be saved despite nations coming and going. I’m sure I’ve probably missed or misinterpreted something so if you’ve got any pointers, want clarification or suggestions please let me know. First though, let’s look at the nations that are still active that have declared their allegiances to a particular side.

Timeline

• 1922 - The Imperial Conference occurs in <> which leads to the Rickemonde Accords which make vague promises about the issue of decolonisation at some indefinite future date but also prohibits new colonisation. See here for more information.
• 1924- Moratorium on Colonisation signed by
• 1925- Nolon naval arms treaty signed to restrict most nations with larger navies from destabilising the region, Magarat views it as another targeted attack against them diplomatically. Domanania, Verdon, Corindia and the Magarati Dominion of Noronica all sign the treaty - ayem when did the empire start up? I can adjust the dates accordingly so this isn’t signed during the time you were independent as per this post
• 1925 - Central Canal is completed by the Noronnican empire??? Are we doing torom with a bunch of wealthy folk now? with numerous partners, Magarati Dominion believed that it should be under their strict control. This forefronts the general unease Magaratis had to their colonial power.
• 1928 - Noronnican crown agrees to grant independence to the Magaratis.
• 1929 - The fascists rise to power in the Empire of Magarat, capitalising on the hostility against the Noronnican empire and the Moratorium of Colonisation as well as the new Naval treaty
• 1929 - Magarat begins to round up its ethnic Nyssics
• 1929 - Ahnslen Government is one of the first to announce their decolonisation efforts with a three year transition period to independence for Keverai.
• 1935 - Empire of Magarat is outraged by the new Moratorium on Colonisation, which is seen to be a direct diplomatic attack against the nation’s ambitions.
• 1937 - Doman-Magarati war begins. See this link for more information
• 1937 - Magarat now has a network of concentration camps for these types for its nysiccs and domans (you cool with this am?)
• 1939 - United Republics of D+S refuse to sign up to the colonisation moratorium or the naval treaty, citing “citing that both does nothing to limit current empires while hampering any other nation from acting freely.”
• August 1939 - Dutch Republics secede from the French Republics in Dormill and Stiura, as do Ardeda
• 1939 - facist takeover in dormill and stiura
• 1940 - small fraction of the doraltic navy abandons the new leadership, and joins the Osean Navy
• 1940 - Civil war in D+S, Denis, the fascist leader unifies the nation through bloodshed and then turns around and declares war against Roendavar in November of the same year.
• 1941 - Vastaros + Althoros fall to Doraltic forces, and they begin to invade the outskirts of Dociara

• Februrary 1942 - Magarati launch an invasion of Solaryia after learning of their intentions to join the free powers
• 1942 - aizcona holds its line at the border
• December 1942? - Solaryian Government surrenders, but pockets of resistance remain through to 1946.
• 1943 - Battles of Bolton and Drayton occur - probably gonna need a new home for these given it’s in a now non-existent nation.
• 1942 - KK’s try to invade segentova??? Altera backs them up.
• 1943 - Magarat pulls a sneaky, with partitioner support, and launches a full offensive on keverai + diachen, causing a rapid falling of the major cities and taking them out of the war
• 22 August 1943 - Battle of Diachen starts in Keverai and the neo-imperialist invasion begins. Martenyikan Condor Legion who march under someone else’s flag are a bunch of martenyikan volunteers from their defence forces with their equipment and help with the keveraite invasion.
• 1944 - doraltic forces are dislodged from their positions in Dociara and by the end of the year are forced to retreat out of Roendavar in its entirety.
• 1944 - Doman-Magarati war ends. See this link for more information
• 1944 - altera sends out a bunch of personnel across the isles
• 1945 - aizcona has advanced to the southern border of san montagna, liberating occurs.
• 1945 - Second Battle of Karnali Sea occurs. Segentova, you getting involved?
• 1946 - Free Powers invade Dormill and Stiura
• 1946 - Free Powers liberate Solaryia, and the nation joins the liberation effort.
• 1946 - fighting everywhere pretty much stagnates, everyone holds their lines
• 1946 - altera begins sending forces to a bunch of different areas - we probably need to work out where exactly
• 1947 - Dormill and Stiura’s leader, Ludvoic Denis, is forced to sign an unconditional surrender from his prison cell in ????.
• 1947 - Military junta overthrows Zastere’s regime in the Partitions
• 1947 - junta announces withdrawal from keverai, leaving the kiratis to try and run the region
• 1947 - Battle of Ghan Pokhara occurs
• 1948 - breakthroughs achieved, magarat is taken out by the end of the year
• 1948 - resistance movement + nhoor (dependency of razzgriz at the time) + aizcona help to push the last kiratis out of keverai
• 1948 - Denis, the former fascist leader of Dormill and Stiura, is publicly executed by guillotine after standing trial and testifying to war crimes at the post-war tribunal.
• 1949 is what you said, but maybe 1948? - The Tsunterlands is defeated by Free Powers forces after they?
• 1949 - the war criminals (from the neo-imperalist side) start getting rounded up. That is, of course, unless they have been extrajudicially killed or in keverai where they refused to hand them over.

Key Points

• Canal front - A lot of this canon seems to be pretty intact, other than the fact the Central Canal Authority is now Torom and on his land. I talked to Torom and he seems to be okay with the prospect of keeping all the existing canon there but obviously we will need more canon around how that all works out now given we have a player-run nation involved rather than a non-playable character. As per previously established, those interested in being involved in this front should speak to Athara Magarat.
• Charbagnia - It seems to be a pretty large holding of the Noronnican empire and I don’t imagine the local natives would be all that happy about being ruled by an entity halfway across the Isles to them. Perhaps they would have the same neo-imperialist and anti-nyssic ideology as AM has. Maybe we could have an uprising here that causes the Empire to be overthrown and then they side with the neo-imperialists in trying to take down all the free powers. Obviously more needs to be done with this, but that’s the early thoughts I’ve had around it all.
• Sawneeak Crisis - Noronica (or Altera not sure) seem to have claims near Razzgriz and Dormill and Stiura in the Sawneeak Atoll archipelago. Seems ripe for a side-conflict to me. Perhaps if Dormill and Stiura is interested in doing so, he could take this bit up and run with it.
• Keverai campaign - There are reasonably major changes here compared to what I’ve said before. Whilst all of the people that are involved still are, the United Partitions and Zastere, their leader, join the conflict as a key partner. Zastere is looking to recreate the Chah-Chajd Empire, which Keverai used to be a part of before Norland bought some of its cities and then the empire fell (this is non-canon but shortly will enter canon). In an attempt to quietly take it over, the Partitions commit significant forces to the point that (owing to a lack of Magarati resources in the south) they effectively help to invade the country and then solely run the entire thing until it gets liberated. This isn’t canon yet (but if you’re okay with it Aiz, it can be) but Zastere would be overthrown after the Aizconan Government supports the military junta to coup him. After this, the junta then announces its withdrawal from Keverai and liberation forces led by Aizcona sweep through Keverai to get rid of the remaining Kirati occupiers.

Specific Questions
Everyone

• Should we make the International District (which didn’t have any of its proper government buildings but rather was a bunch of mobs at the time) neo-imperialist? It seems to be a logical move, given Magarat is next door. That could really mess up trade and weaken the Free Powers by complicating the way they’d need to do things.
• What would cause you to enter this war? Would the annexation of Arvan be enough? The activities at the Canal? The invasion of San Montagna? Some other factor? The invasion of Roendavar? Let us know - this is really important in making the headcanon more detailed and interesting.
• Let us know if you will sign the Rickemonde (Decolonisation + stopping more colonialism) Accords or the Naval Limitations Treaty.
• We need a location for the post-war trials and the imprisonment of various war criminals. Anyone want to volunteer for that? Especially for taking Dormill’s failed dictator?
• In light of the absence of Noronica, would anyone like to be the location for where the Rickemonde Accords are signed? Also, do we need a new spot for the Nolon Naval Limitations Treaty? If so, perhaps one of the free powers nations could be good for that.

  • You mention shooting down some planes if they cross over to your border. Perhaps you could shoot down a Doraltic plane on its way to Sawneeak and that could start a little crisis? Maybe it could look like you may join the Free Powers after that but because of backroom deals and discussions you avoid threatening your neutrality.

  • You mention being involved with espionage work, especially against the Neo-Imperialists. Perhaps you could be a part of the group trying to keep Charbagnia from uprising against the empire in the middle of a war?

  • Perhaps you could have a spy situation where Erodesia (who are neutral but sympathetic to the neo-imperialists) tries to undermine the Dominion of Serpens Land and vice versa. They could even try and stall or confuse the Dominion right before the Battle of Diachen, which causes a slow response from your nation to the events at hand and results in the city falling before the nation can properly respond.

  • Is it fair to say that you two worked hand in hand to stall the advance of Magarati forces northward?

  • You’ve said that you joined the war to mess with Havalland. Why exactly would you want to do that? What do you have to gain - and would you have any other connection to the overall war other than this? I can picture you potentially being involved in the Central Argus front depending on how things fall with The Tsunterlands and Jeriga.

Also, you may be wondering why exactly the war started. Well, if the oldest posts in this thread suggest anything, it is ultimately the rise of new nations who want to be colonial powers agitating for the right to expand and ulimately acting upon it. This had been restrained by the "old" colonial powers through treaties but eventually, these documents just don't hold weight anymore and stuff just spirals from there.

I assume your move to Raedlon is the reason why a lot of the earlier canon needs to be revised? Also, what would be the motivations surrounding defending segentova and not just going after the canal? As for other fronts, what you could do is be a major backer of Solaryia's liberation perhaps?

I'm happy for my capital to eventually be captured by Estral forces to end the war - we'd could even nuke it if we want to draw the Hiroshima/Nagasaki parallels. The Tsunterlands needs to be devastated enough that it turns to communism in the 1950s.
Obviously i'll need to discuss with Aiz what's going to be happening on our front but i'm thinking they'll be a several large naval battles in the Tsunterlands-Aizconian-Jeriga gap with the specific details depending on what Jeriga is doing.

The Tsunterlands at the time was under the dicatorial control of the Young Tsunters, the nationalists who'd won the country's independence 20 years earlier. The country still had serious beef with Aizcona over the genocides in the 1910s and the government wanted destroy their military and economic power, force the country to pay reparations and annex resource rich lands from Aiz. The Young Tsunters other main goal in the war was to try and become the hegemonic naval power of the Mesder so I can see the Tsunterlands intervening in other various conflicts in the Mesder theatre of the war.

After the war I'd was thinking that Aizcona to annex the southern region of the Tsunterlands which would then be gained back in a short war in the 1960s.
