I think late 40s would probably be the best time for the main war to end. Maybe some subsidary conflicts but an 8-9 year war is long as it is.

Yea even my Engineers use a highly modified version of the centurion today so maybe the Free Powers establish a program to jointly work on project later into the war like 46ish and that way we can all utilize the centurion and maybe some of the jet fighters since theres also a shortage of those.

I would be willing to do that. Could branch the Svalbardian tank design back more into the contemporary frame for the Post war period in this case.

The UCCR was backing marxists during my civil war in the 60s and 70s

I could intervene in the communist civil wars as my 4th Empire doesnt fall until the 80s

Certainly interested in becoming communist.

But I have a problem. First I need two people to have invaded me in the 1890 and occupied Keomora until 1900. And second I need a reason why my country managed to stave off foreign invasion during IW and yet still lose and have the country have the country fall apart into a civil war that results in a communist regime.

I can probs invade in 1890. Depending on which side you're on you could do crippling debt or a lack of pay for veterans. In addition even if you don't get invaded maybe you get bombed heavily which results on widespread destruction. Something like the Blitz on London.

In the 1890 the Blitz wouldn’t even be possible. One of the first usage of airplanes being used to bomb anything was in 1904, and even then it was extremely limited.
I was hoping for Polar and Noronica (the former due to previous agreements and the latter due to being nearby (AM). But I wouldn’t mind if others joined in to invade as supporters (or the occasional few who would have protested).

Sorry I was talking about 2 different things. I could invade your country in 1890.
And then during the imperial war have the blitz that destroys a lot of the infrastructure of your country and in the ruins your people turn to communism.

If you wanted to pull the dates back a little bit we could go that way we talked about way back where your nation was occupied by mine for awhile and then when I had the Svalbardian Civil War (Uprising of the Wolves) that your people take the chance to try and take back there country. First loss for the new government and all that.

As for the country not getting invaded I think the main front is going to be at Almorea in our part of the war and your nation is behind another one. The war could be over by the time a Svalbardian-Almorean push gets close. We could have it that strategic bombing hits your country really hard, could result in such hatred against your government, especially when you lose, that your people start a civil war. Along with that it could be interesting if Polar Svalbard gets loosely involved to try and help your government against communists but lose out as they don't want to get too involved as a) they just fought a major war and b) you were an enemy in that war.

I'm personally fine with my WW2 history just being the Oster-Thuzbek War of like whatever year. Idk how that will go with all these wars going on near me, though.
