I dont think you understand what my plan is. Im not launching a counter offensive... I'm waging a denial action. Where are you building your trenches?

If you are building them inside the valley - they will still be vulnerable to my artillery salvo and I respectfully ask you mention the effects thereof in your post.

If you are building them on your side, then you are free to do so since I cannot realistically do anything about that. I also would like to know what sort of howitzer you're using because I suspect it'd have to enter the valley to be in range to fire off the tear gas strike.

They're using nerve gas, not tear gas, though they haven't specified which kind, but I'd suspect along the lines of Sarin or VX

As a show of force, the 350mm mortar was set up and began lobbing nerve gas shells into the mouth of the valley. The 1500 Freikorps loaded their FN FALs.

Which 350mm siege mortar? The one that was shelled by DIY MRLSes, one that has no cover to permit it to withstand such an action?

I also have a feeling that you underestimated damage such a bombardment would have done to your forces. We are talking about several bomblets per a shell; each of which will be dispersed over a wide area. Your forces as far as I remember mostly soft skinned HMMVs and technicals.

The loses are going to be considerable.
