President Gagliano in his home in Tokyo had a talk with his wife. He talked about his power and his past. President Gagliano is a proud Italian, German, Pole, and Irishman. He thought to bring back the dignity of his ancestors. President Gagliano scheduled a meeting with press. He starts speaking, "About 100 years ago, my father's grandparents moved to New York from Italy when they were teenagers. They always spoke Italian and Irish. My grandmother's parents were directly from Germany. My mom's parents were from Poland running away from Nazi invasion. My ancestors have spoke to me through the 2nd world. They told me to bring back their people, to bring back the empire. I want to make a European and Japanese Empire. This will a slow operation, starting with Turkey and going from there. Create the Change! God bless and goodnight!"

The Anatolian front

Postby Slavinosky » Fri May 04, 2018 10:11 am

The Hetman overlooks operations from a jagged cliff with a cold contemplation. He hadn't expected a foreign power to get involved in his sphere of influence so quickly

The man always a half pace away from his right shoulder, the Major General, grinned.

"I've not yet overseen an overseas invasion. This should be fun. But i must ask, what do you even want with Turkey?" said the eager but confused major general.

The Hetman remained still and quiet

"Hetman?"

"hmmm?" said the Hetman, obviously only half listening.

"Anatolia. What are we doing here?"

"The problem with you Major is that you only see things at face value. The Arizonians have Turkey today, but what next? the whole Balkans? and we can't have that can we?"

"I suppose you're right, what of the Rats?"

"The Rats obviously have interests in Turkey, but they are a weak people. They can be trusted to die when they should, and pose no threat to our interests in Europe."

"Yes Hetman. Hetman, the commandos are uneasy, they do not know why they are here."

"They aren't paid to understand, they are paid to kill. Now ready the landings, the Arizonians will land soon."

"Yes Hetman." Said a somewhat defeated Major General, not sure if he was dismissed, or if the Hetman simply didn't want him there. Either way he knew he should go.

The Hetman stood on the precipice, resuming his deep thought.

Gibraltar, the Anatolian front

Postby Slavinosky » Fri May 04, 2018 10:16 am

Gibraltar was the only way into the Mediterranean, so the only way to Turkey for the Arizonians, except by land, and land routes to Turkey were dominated by Slavinosky,

Impressive, chrome plated battleships sat behind crags in the mighty cliff walls. Gibraltar, many a naval battle had been fought here, defenders winning almost every time. The Morzezabójca, the flagship of Slavinosky sat, an astute defender.

The Admiral, Pjoder Czyzna, sat observing the cliff-side.

"Let them come"

The Polish agreement

Postby Slavinosky » Fri May 04, 2018 7:26 pm

Polish diplomats had reached an agreement.

Poland was to be annexed, but was to be a provincial government that was entirely sovereign, but had to answer calls to war and was taxed.

"This seems fair to me" Bellowed the Polish president, soon to be provincial ruler of Poland

"An agreement it is then, we will merge our wondrous nations and increase both our powers via cooperation" said Hetman Sobieski in a kind but commanding voice.

Those in attendance clapped and nodded at the peaceful outcome.

The two shook hands, and locked eyes.

The Polish president eyed the Hetman suspiciously, as a hare might eye a serpent.
The Hetman returned a leer that confirmed the president's suspicions, but reminded him of his position.

The other men in attendance had left the meeting, and the President began to walk away as well.

The Hetman grabbed the president's shoulder.

"Double cross me, and i will see all you love destroyed before you. You will die a wretch, dishonored and hated man. You will regret your decision until the second i personally kill you. So, i implore you to bury any pent up rebelliousness, for the good of you, and your 2 lovely daughters." whispered the Hetman to the president as his face contorted into a wretched and cruel visage.

The Hetman continued down the hall.

The president's face had drained of all blood, and he stood motionless in the hallway.

Invasion of Belarus

Postby Slavinosky » Sat May 05, 2018 8:27 pm

Belarus did not have the wisdom Ukraine and Poland did, and decided to stand against the Slavinoskians.

Many men had been conscripted within a week, as Belarus struggled to muster an army within such a short timeframe, predicting Slavinosky to target them next.

Men, some as young as 14, wielding an assortment of outdated, and poor quality weapons were scattered around the fortress, the last bastion of Belarussian defiance, every other territory swiftly surrendering to the vastly superior Slavinoskian military.

Sweaty palms gripped rifles, pointed shakily at the tall fortress walls, waiting for the walls to be pummeled down by a final artillery strike.

In the distance, a faint thud, thud, thud, heralded the final barrage that would bring down the walls.

A shell punched through the gate, bringing a portion of the wall with it, some Belarussians began firing in a panic into the dust cloud kicked up by the wall.

A minute passed. Nothing. Utter, deafening silence.

Then, a hissing sound came from all around the men.

"Газа!" screamed a single man, seeing the thick white vapor unfurling from canisters all around.

Men began coughing, covering their faces with cloths, and crouching to get below the vapor.

Sillouettes of men marched through the haze, with masks and rifles fitted with bayonets so polished they shone through the haze of gas.
The Belarussians eyes burned from the smoke, and they couldn't see the Slavinoskians, but heard the gurgling sound of their comrades being gutted by the merciless commandos.

The Belarussian commander peeled his eyes open despite the burning, and saw before him a man in a gas mask, who knelt, and peeled off his mask.

Screams of the Belarussians drowned out every sound in the room, but the commander still remembered the man's words.

"We always leave one to tell the tale."

When the smoke cleared, all that the commander saw were the bodies of his men, all maimed by Slavinoskian bayonets.

Belarus surrendered shortly after.

Bosnia

Postby Serbiagrad » Sat May 05, 2018 9:02 pm

Serbs stream into the small nation of Bosnia.
Expansion is necessary for the Serbs because of the looming invasion by Slavinosky.
The Bosnians prepare a hasty defense, stacking boxes and hauling bags of grain to assemble makeshift fortresses, but to no avail.
A salvo of shells pelt the fortifications, shredding the newly build sappings and with them the defenders.
A white flag is raised from the capital, and the defenders march our with hands up, under careful watch by the Slavinosian attackers.

Bosnia is conquered

The German front

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 06, 2018 6:07 pm

The Germans were a fighting people.

The Germans had thought Slavinosky as uniting the Slavic peoples, so hadn't expected invasion, but invasion was upon them, and they mustered in force.

The Germans knew it was a hopeless war, but they tried their hardest to make invasion hell.

The countryside had been turned into a network of trenches, pillboxes, and dugouts, but the Slavinoskians pushed steadily forward.

The war was a bloodbath, with terrible loss on both sides, the hasty German defence was mighty, but ill prepared for a full force invasion.

The Hetman stood in the battle room, his generals bickering over maps dotted with colored pins, each representing a division or position. The Hetman stood from his chair and the room fell silent, and all eyes fell on him.

"Gentlemen. It is time, we shatter the foundation, and the building comes down. Commence the raid."

Generals nodded in awknowledgement and approval, some rushing to phones.

400 miles from the planning room in Warsaw, a German planning room was exploding in debate, men clamoring to be heard over each other, a panic over what was to be done about the invasion.

A man in great coat with a German general's uniform put a phone back in it's hook, and brandished a revolver. It had taken months for him to assume the identity of a German general, and his last months work all rode on this shot.

The man swiftly pulled up the revolver, and unloaded 6 shots at the direction of the German chancellor, he didnt get the chance to see whether his shots had struck home before he was gunned down by the 2 armed guards in the room.

The chancellor had been shot 3 times, once in the shoulder, and twice in the abdomen. He bled out there on the floor.

The spy was dead, but the death of the German chancellor meant a severe unwinding of stability in Germany, generals went from talking of the war to talking of who was to replace the chancellor.

Gunfire was heard inside the building.

A guard raised his gun and left the room, 2 shots were heard and the guard fell dead back into the room.

2 more spies, dressed as guards entered the war room, a confused second guard was too late in realizing they were spies, and was shot. The spies began unloading into the room, shooting generals, officers, and staff. By the end, the room was littered with bullet holes and bodies, the spies went to the center of the room, and awaited the arrival of security, which they knew would kill them.

Germany was without leadership and fighting a losing war, it would be over soon.

The Serbian general cleaned up his latest war crime and continued on his Balkan conquest.

Croatia was a historical enemy to Serbia, they having accepted the heathen alphabet and converted to Catholicism, so the Serbians exerted no effort in preserving the infrastructure of the province.

The invasion was quick and the Serbs won, having a superior military and leadership.

The Bulgarians couldn't have cared less who ruled them because of all their internal troubles, and in fact welcomed a communist leadership. Ratistan was happy to oblige.

Confetti was thrown in the crowded streets as Bulgars crowded around a Ratistanian convoy. The Bulgarian minister stepped down and cooperated, allowing Ratistan to assume control.

Paleothon's expansion: France

Postby Paleothon » Sun May 06, 2018 7:36 pm

"We're in a crisis! If we're left to handle these religious extremists ourselves, we're toast!", the French President exclaims, in a rather frustrated manner.

Sir Charles Samuel Wolf examines the military details of the civil war on classified documents and maps on beige and slightly worn paper. "I see your civil war is a priority, but we only want to control France, and make it an autonomous province of the Empire." His silver-gray beard glistens from the partially open window with clear curtains; brown fabrics just in front of them, creating a brownish-clear light in the meeting room. The otherwise quiet room is brought to life with the emotional fits of the French President now explicitly conveying his impatience on his job. "The government and I are powerless, and the local and regional governments are clearly overthrown!!! I beg of you to take full responsibility of this war until these religious runts are off the face of FRANCE!!!!" The French President moves quickly across the room, almost tumbling over at every turn he makes. He is almost sleep deprived; his eye bags are almost purple and the mustache and sideburns make his already crumbled skin look even more blemished. "Truly this war has taken fire on my life! I can't think properly anymore! I became President because I didn't think I'd have to do this! Take us over, and end this!!!! I give you France for FREE if I have to!" Wolf grabs a silver colored pen from his grey suit jacket are writes his signature on a contract. "I'm giving your autonomous region a loan of 100 million at the end of this war. You'll have 5 years to pay it off. If any is late, we'll take any action necessary." Both shake hands and look at each other closely, each noticing each other's mood. Wolf was calm, controlled, and almost charismatic, as to trust him in about anything. The French President was thin, insecure, and more animate, as to give off a lack of no assurance.

As Wolf exits the room, he turns one more time. "I'll give you another piece of advice, Mr. Legrand. Get some sleep, and stop being so insecure and wishy washy." As he leaves for good, Legrand stands next to his chair, no longer feeble or afraid, but suddenly in good and powerful posture. "I assure you I'll stop doing that.." His eyes give off a clever glare at the mirror reflection of his face.

Gibraltar

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 06, 2018 7:52 pm

The Hetman stood aboard the flagship, cruise missiles armed and ready to fire.

The American navy draws nearer and nearer

"Hail them one last time, tell them if they go another naught we fire."

"yes sir" says a deckhand, scrambling to the communications deck.

A minute later, the deckhand returns.

"They havn't stopped."

"Fire"

The sky is lit up by a barrage of Stiletto missiles, the Americans hadn't expected an open war, but they had gotten it. the unprepared missile defense was useless, the missiles all striking home.

"Our radar shows we sunk their carrier, and 2 escorting battleships."

"Crying shame it is."

The navy of Slavinosky had never been defeated, and Gibraltar was the greatest choke point in the sea.

A return fire came

"Ready the defense!"

Interceptors lit up the night sky, American missiles being intercepted by the top of the line S-500 defense program.

"2 hits sir, on the Morzejastrząb"

"How many fired?"

"35 intercepted, 10 missed, so a total of 47 misisles fired." replied the technician.

"Very good. They underestimate us, which is great." said the admiral. They have retreated, for now, resume defensive measures, don't let them near Gibraltar.

Portugal

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 06, 2018 8:01 pm

Gibraltar had been a disaster for the Americans, losing a carrier and 2 battleships, as well as many escort vessels. The landing on Portugal was still not over.

Slavinoskian soldiers, pulled from Germany held the beach, turrets firing wildly at landing vessels.
Aircraft cut overhead, some falling to air defense, but others making it over Slavinoskian lines, only to be intercepted by Slavinoskian fighters.

The beach was held tight, a naval landing difficult because of the Gibraltar incident, and a physical landing close to impossible because of fortifications.

There was a long way to go.

A Secret Meeting

Postby Paleothon » Sun May 06, 2018 8:01 pm

A secret warehouse: Beirut, Lebanon.

A man in a black robe and black hat, with a silver-grey beard enters a hollow empty warehouse with a man in a turban and white robes. Both are silent, with heavily armed guards next to each man watching each other very closely. The warehouse is almost very dark, as the sun is setting.

"You cannot escape the power of Ratistan or Slavinovsky, they will crush us!" The black robed man says. "I, as a Bishop of the Greek Orthodox Federation, cannot join you in your suicide games!" The white-robed man turns and replies, "I'm not asking you to die with me, but to join me in defending our sovereignty. We're not the only ones in persecution. Look at Kibbutz Afikim! We can join him, and together create an Abrahamic Empire! Let's set our differences aside for once! End the civil war. Or continue it, as we weaken each other and fall to Ratistan and Slavinovsky much quicker...".

Both the Muslim and Orthodox men stand still, still skeptical but come to an agreement. "For once you are wise in your decision. We can't fight if there's an external threat upon both of us. God bless our conquest for freedom." Both smile, but the Muslim still breaks the moment: "This doesn't mean peace forever." The Orthodox man responds: "I know.".

The Muslim man speaks once more: " We'll set up our military operation in Homs, Syria, and take over Ratistan from there and wipe it out! Surely Allah has given us this opportunity to overthrow these unruly empires."

Both leave the warehouse, silently but in eager and positive strides. Even the guards copy their pattern.

Sabotage

Postby Slavinosky » Sun May 06, 2018 8:08 pm

The American minister of defense had just gotten to his quiet home after a long day's work. He went to set down his keys and smiled when he saw a note his wife left him.

He went to the fridge, and pulled out some cold takeout, and microwaved it. He stared intently at the food, waiting for the microwave to give a beep.

An arm reached around him, first assuming it to be his wife, he didn't resist. He then realized these were large arms, from a large person, and began to struggle, but to no avail. He tried to scream, but there was no air in his lungs.

There was a crack from the minister of defense's neck, and he slumped forward, dead.

The large man in a black tracksuit pulled out a cell phone and quietly said "it is done" into the phone, and walked out of the house."

Annexation of Spain: Wolf's Speech

Postby Paleothon » Mon May 07, 2018 6:35 pm

Badajoz, Spain

The flags of several militias and military corporations fly across an audience and Sir Charles Samuel Wolf walks up to a podium facing tens of thousands, more than anyone expected to hear Wolf's speech. The Sec. of State, Kasher Adam Washington, a medium height white man with a noticeable belly, wears a black suit and a red tie. He has white hair, as he is aging quickly as of now, and he has a cane. Adjusting the microphone and leaning closer, Wolf begins to speak:

"Ladies and gentlemen, citizens of Spain, I congratulate your decision to return to democracy and Western values in the elections you just participated in. Once again, your country can be run by people who know the true path of decency and freedom. The People's Party shall live on to remain as the party of Spain's glory. This, however, also makes your country vulnerable to invasion by communism, socialism, and Muslim fundamentalism. I tell you all, the people of Spain, that they are jealous of the achievements we've accomplished, those that they've once gained themselves in the long lost past and can only dream of gaining now. They are intolerant of our creed, freedom, and our gospel, a Western text, under the one and true God Almighty, who shall forever be praised!"

A considerable portion of the crowd cheers, and Wolf further continues:

"Today, I see the hope that the Almighty has shown us today. Democracy and freedom will prevail. Man was made to live freely, but morally. We were meant to have law and order, and respect our every individual decision. We were meant to show pride and allegiance, and have a mind that guides us. Some were made to be wealthy, and still those who were specially made to work for them. I tell you, that even the poorest of this Western world we once again see regenerate to life, still have freedom, dreams, and even a free mind. Because of this, the governments of-the world must respect the merit, liberties, and lives of all who live today, and even those who have passed, as well as those to come. The provisional government of Paleothon lived through the foundation of this beautiful country, and we sometimes brought it down. I, a member of that body, also became President and brought it back up to what it is today. The foreign policy and relations we celebrate now would not be as they are without the hard work of my dear friend, Secretary of State, Kasher Adam Washington, also a former Major of the Army and former Subordinate-Director of the Scottish Peoples' Militia of Freedom, a major corporation that has contributed to national security for nearly 100 years, and continues to do so today. Give a hand to Sec. Washington!"

The crowd roars, and Washington walks to the podium.

"Thank you for the honors, for I've worked hard to give Spain the opportunity. Since we happen to border JB in this city, and this podium is directly facing Portugal as I speak, give JB as big welcome here in Europe!"

The crowd roars again, facing Portugal, and Washington speaks again:

"I'll end this talking, so we can get to celebrating via food, drink and a meeting with JB and his diplomats. With Spain in our hands, we also hope to establish neutral terms with Slavinovsky's naval base and equal his military power by ourselves. Whether we do or not, the League of Sovereign Nations stands with us. We shall claim Western Europe and bless them the same way we have blessed you, and go as far as Norway and Denmark! Italy will be ours as well, and we shall be great allies with Arizona, AL, and Britishers. We will defeat the Abrahamic Empire that threatens Kibbutz and Ratistan in the Middle East, as well as France and Europe. We will make the world a better world, and once again establish peace and freedom, with our allies, and most importantly, you, the people! Let's end this event with a good note, and a good bottle of Sangria!!!"

The crowd roars and cheers, as he and Wolf leave the podium. Paleothonian members of the corwd shout Wolf's name enthusiastically and loudly, with Wolf laughing and turning back to eave as he enters a large palace building, where much noise and cheering are erupting. The Paleothonian flag waves from the top of the dome top of the palace building, and the rising sun shines brightly on the flag, replacing parts of the flag with bright white and disappearing as the flag waves.

Italy

Postby Slavinosky » Mon May 07, 2018 8:03 pm

The Italians were not an inherently warlike people, but preferred to prosper on trade.

Slavinosky knew that a land invasion was wholly unnecessary, and instead blockaded them, preventing them from having crucial trade. A meeting was called.

"Hetman, you know well me and my people will not fight you. We just want to be guaranteed our liberties, and not forced to fight in your wars, is that so much to ask?" said a quite reasonable sounding Italian president.

"Your country has nothing to offer me militarily president, so i will ask nothing of you militarily. I want your lands for a wholly different reason. Your nation is a successful economy, and will do us well to add to our GDP. We only ask that you keep business as usual, but have your wealth at the disposal of the Slavinoskian state." replied a stone faced Hetman.

"That sounds quite reasonable. I suppose annexation arrangements should be made immediately then."

"Indeed."

The Albanian invasion

Postby Serbiagrad » Mon May 07, 2018 8:07 pm

Albania was home to the crucial port city of Lezhe, so the Serbs wasted no time.

Albania was a small country, and ill suited to defense because of a highly tumultuous political atmosphere.
Albania surrendered quickly, having little money to waste fighting a frivolous war.
Albania's minister shook hands with the victorious Serbian commandant, and the nation was annexed. Albania was anything but happy to be annexed by the hated Serbs, but they had little choice.

Ratistanian men, newly militarized by their Slavinoskian allies landed on the beaches of Brazil. To many of the men's dismay, the beaches had been cleared.

Brazil was sparsely defended, with only a patch of defenders here and there. Ratistan won the "invasion" at last when they declared their national sport to be football. The Brazilians realized that Ratistan wasn't all that bad, and became annexed. To appease their new subjects Ratistan began building public football fields for the locals, and the public approved.

Brazil had been "invaded".

Switzerland

Postby Slavinosky » Tue May 08, 2018 7:04 pm

Switzerland was practically impossible to invade. Surrounded by the swiss alps, and with their entire population as their standing army, as well as a developed military, its no wonder Switzerland remained independent so long. The Slavinoskians knew that the swiss wanted one thing: security, and that they could give it to them.

"Hetman, i honestly couldn't care less who rules the nation as long as our lives aren't miserable and our taxes too high, and we are secure." said a Swiss chancellor, weary of negotiation.

"Chancellor... i can assure you that as long as you are a subject of Slavinosky, you will receive a provincial government with the right to vote, and the full might of slavinosky will protect you." said the Hetman, clearly not entirely present.

"Well... I suppose my terms are acceptable Hetman?" questioned the eager Chancellor, excited that it was almost time to end negotiations.

"Yes, but i should like to be able to call your men to battle should circumstance demand it. I would only do so of course, if your province had a clear reason to fight." said a very agreeable sounding Hetman.

"But only for matters of our security?" asked the chancellor/

"Of course." Said the Hetman.

The negotiations were over, the Hetman had kept the chancellor up late into the night so that he might make a rash choice as he had. He had unwittingly signed his men into the Slavinoskian military, meaning they were at his full disposal, and switzerland was annexed.

"Now. Lets tie up some loose ends in the East" said the Hetman to himself.

Sweden

Postby Slavinosky » Wed May 09, 2018 7:42 pm

Tanks tore across the tundra, across the vast tracts of land in Sweden.

Sweden was a nation that had little military power, and relied on their allies to defend them. Norway, Finland, and Sweden had formed a coalition to try to defend scandinavia against slavinosky, and slavinosky surprised them all by starting with Sweden. A baltic naval invasion swiftly took Sweden's south, but the attackers became bogged down by a tundra war, with defenders digging into the snowy hell.

Soon, the Hetman personally ordered men versed in winter fighting from Novgorod to join the fight, and from there the fighting became one sided. Slavinoskian troops were better equipped, and the veterans of winter fighting swiftly overcame the fresh recruits defending Sweden.

Sweden was occupied, but Slavinosky had to contend with her allies.

Invading the Saudis

Postby Old Ratistan » Wed May 09, 2018 7:48 pm

Saudi Arabia was a land of many riches, they had many rocks, a lot of sand, and also a little oil. The true wealth of Saudi Arabia lay in their progressive and incredibly democratic government, modeled after the theories presented in Plato's The Republic.

The invasion took months, with Ratistan constantly forgetting it was a desert and not packing water, and as always, forgetting toothbrushes.

Eventually, the Saudis got bored and surrendered because it pained them to keep shooting nearly defenseless people.

The mountainous terrain of Peru was ideal not only for potato crop, but for defense. Ratistanian steppe dwellers had a rough time in the mountains.

Peruvians had to be lured out of hiding, usually by boiling large amounts of potatoes. After being lured out, they were ambushed. This method was used again and again until Peru was out of troops.

Peru was annexed, and its potato varieties catalogued.

Invading Armenia

Postby Old Ratistan » Thu May 10, 2018 2:46 pm

Armenia was a nation surrounded by countries who wanted to absorb them, so were highly militarized.

Nearly the entirety of Armenia's population of 12 was ready for war. Ratistan with its new military bastions in Saudi Arabia found invasion easy with relatively few setbacks, aside from the time a few farmers set their entire herds of goats towards Ratistanian lines, throwing them to a frenzy.

The invasion, aside from the unfortunate goat incident went smoothly. Armenia was annexed after authorities came to a reasonable agreement.
